Friendly and helpful staff. Easy checkin and out. Elevators are small but work well. Security is good. Cleaning staff do a good job. Good location as the area is quiet and walkable to the tube and waterfront within minutes. The units we had fit us fine. Issues with appliances that were immediately addressed. Beds were horribly hard. No AC but they did provide a fan. It would be very warm in the summer. Our son travels in a wheelchair and we had no issues with accessibility.

Brilliant location just over the road from Borough underground station. Walkable distance to Borough market (10 mins). We were 3 families meeting up before 1 family flew back to Australia. Perfect accommodation for this as we were able to gather in one of the apartment’s lounges for a few drinks in the evening due to a lot of bars not allowing entry to children. Clean, well equipped and great location. Two families parked their cars at £15 per day. Really convenient.

Check in was quick. Locked building with 24 hour staff was great for quick check in and inquiries. Apartment was spacious for our group. No AC so it was stuffy at times. Not being from the UK made using the laundry an internet search every time. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Located next door to a small grocer was very convenient. Tube stations within 10 minute walk so quick to get to all that you want to see. I found it to be in a quiet area of london where we could walk to many attractions. Wear comfortable shoes.

Great location. Grocery on bottom floor. Parking garage attached. Subway 2 blocks away. Only partial con is there is no A/C but staff provided fans which we only really needed one night. After comparing room size and the fact many properties don't have A/C. I would definitely stay there if I traveled to london again.

Very clean and spacious! Staff was friendly and check-in/out process was very easy. Location was a bit far from the main attractions but the metro station was about a three minute walk from the hotel so we were able to travel around quite easily.

This is my second stay, I love the location, it’s super close to great tube links, borough market, London Bridge etc. Apartments are spacious with handy amenities for short or long stays. The only issue is that the floor was filthy again.

Oddly very quiet for an apartment. Didn’t hear a single noise from any other properties. Very clean, with very helpful staff on hand. Highly recommend for a weekend stay. Very useful having a Tesco Express next door too.

This property is not good for older people as there is 4 flights of stairs. On arrival there was stale food in the fridge and microwave, dirty plates and cutlery in the kitchen, washing in the washing machine and an unflushed toilet with a huge deposit in the ensuite. The main bed had crumbs all through it as if the doona had just been pulled up. The television in the lounge didn’t work and the plug to turn on the tv in the second room was behind the wardrobe and impossible to reach. There were no power points in the second bedroom. The hot water didn’t work, you had to turn it on two hours before use, not good when you want a shower first thing in the morning. The whole place looked as though it had not been cleaned.

The location is perfect, the space is great, the staff are lovely. The floor was dirty (take slippers to wear), my wifi did not work and was not fixed during my 3 night stay despite reporting it twice (I was given the login for the next door room to use), there was no phone in the room so I had to go down to reception anytime I needed to speak to someone, the bath plug did not seal properly so a bath could not be drawn, and even if it could the hot water took 2 hours to heat and then lasted 2 minutes (the shower was always hot).

Overall the apartments are lovely and location perfect and well equipped. The sofa was quite uncomfortable and for us the bed was too hard but it’s a great size. Loved the size of the appartment and the little balcony was a bonus. Lovely and warm, great bathroom and great value for money.

We had a great stay at Marlin Apartments London Bridge – Empire Square. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to shops, restaurants, tourist sites, and public transportation. One of the highlights was the amazing view of The Shard right from our apartment! The space is perfect for families, with a mini kitchen, fridge, washer/dryer, iron, and other helpful appliances. The view from the apartment is fantastic and our family of four appreciated having a second bathroom. The location is great and we were able to walk to everything - Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, etc. There's a Tesco next door and a great pub, The King's Arms, within easy walking distance. The only drawback was that we were there for a couple of hot days in June and the apartment does not have air conditioning. Otherwise, lovely.

Shame we couldn’t have a balcony but great views of the shard from our room. Very spacious, had everything we needed for our stay including iron, fan and hair dryer. Fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils. Staff were friendly and helpful. Outside the property did t feel as safe as other places we’ve stayed and it was rather untidy but very near the tube for access to the rest of London and a convenient Tesco store right outside.

We had a great time at Empire Square while visiting friends in the London Bridge area with our 18 mo and 4 yo. Booked a 1 bed and upgraded to a 2 bed 1 bath flat and was on the 6th floor with a view of the Shard and London skyline. Street noise was loud with windows open but quiet when closed. Only complaints is that the TV remote was very bad, and the sofa there is very worn and sinks inward, and since it’s a sofa bed was not comfortable. Front desk staff was lovely, especially Sanj and Jay, who were always helpful and accommodating. Very nice having a Tesco downstairs. Laundry was handy but needed to mostly air dry. We were charged £5/night for a travel cot but I feel like that should be included in the rental cost. Would definitely stay again if back in the area!

Check in was terrible, I had my 2 young children with me, we were put in a queue and reception allowed queue jumpers and then called people in the wrong order. There was a guy who was doing his best but a lady in the back ground offered no help to clear the queue just chatted. As you can see I use hotels app virtually every week of the year almost always on my own so a rare family break as ruined by the 40 minute wait to check in (we were soaked from the rain)

We rented a 1-Bedroom Unit for 8 nights. Very clean apartment with nice and modern amenities. Electrical receptacles were great. Location is a bit far from much of London's tourist attractions. Bus stops are right in front, but must transfer to get most places. Underground station is a bit of a walk and also requires transfers. Front desk was friendly, but follow up on requests was not good.

Checkin was appalling. I was second in line, when a man pushed infront of the couple ahead of me. The single receptionist then proceeded to spend 15 minutes sorting him out - ignoring the fact he pushed in. The next couple then took 20 minutes to check in due to issues with the card machine. The recptionist then let a man push ahead and then another woman who just wanted to ska question which took another 15 minutes. By this time another man had arrived to reception who had to point out that I had been next. Whilst serving me another person pushed in and she handed my driving licence to that person. 45 minute check in no apology - just not a good experience.

Although the apartment was very clean and spacious the service and signs weren’t the best. Getting there after a 3 hour drive we were met with a very unhelpful guy on reception. He gave us a map of how to get to the car park. It’s pointless. Put the Royal Oak pub in your Sat Nav instead. The maps as useful as a chocolate teapot. Once you get there, there are no signs telling you where to park or any access to the building, unless someone from reception lets you in. The chap on reception wasn’t friendly and was not interested in my email where I had requested a specific room. We were too tired and just wanted to rest. His responses were almost a ‘if you don’t like it stay elsewhere’. The 2 other gents we spoke to at reception, whilst we were there, were the opposite. Very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Only caught one of their names. Jay. The location itself is good. Walking distance to Borough Market and the underground. Tesco’s next door, if you need things for your stay.

Arrived to check in at 3pm - room wasn’t ready until 4:30pm. No luggage store available while I waited. Once I was able to check-on, the team on reception were friendly and professional but wanted to take a photocopy of my photo ID, rather than simply see it to validate that I was the person who had made the booking. I was not happy to allow them to do this, because of security concerns - it had name, DOB, address. The team assured that the photocopy would be destroyed after my stay, and were a little insulted by the insinuation. No offence was meant, but there is no legitimate reason for a copy of ID to be taken, as a UK citizen. If this is the policy, it should be made clear that a copy of your photo ID will be taken and retained at booking - it simply said that photo ID was required to check-in, not that they would make a copy! Once in, the appartement was clean, comfortable and in good condition.

This place is very close (walking distance) to the Borough Market and other attractions such as Millennium Bridge, the Globe Theater, St Paul Cathedral. Borough Market area has tons of cool places to eat and hang out. 2 Tube stations near by. Highly recommended!
