NAJ Tulum

My recent stay at the Naj exceeded my expectations in all ways. The penthouse suite is comfortable and spacious; the full kitchen was a very nice amenity for a longer stay and we used the room’s personal pool every single morning when we got up and evening night cap before bed. There is great coffee and breakfast walkable from the hotel, as well as an American-style convenience store with some fresh fruit options. The beach is not walkable but cheap cabs are available and the Naj has bikes, but we did not use them. Our stay was extraordinary and the hotel manager Braulio, ensured a flawless stay. Our stay at the Naj made our Tulum vacation unforgettable.

Bon emplacement, parcontre c’est très bruyant le matin à partir de 6:00 am on entends les motos, camions au point de se faire réveiller , filtre de piscine tres bruyant aussi sur le penthouse. Mais tout le reste était parfait , emplacement , la beauté des lieux, stationnement gratuit , depanneur à 100 mètres , lieu très sécuritaire aussi!

Had an amazing experience at Naj! Braulio, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to ensure my guest and I have a pleasant stay and gave great recommendations to fully immerse in Tulum culture. He was pleasant, communicative and very understanding. We stayed at a luxury apartment which came equipped with a stocked (with tools, appliances) kitchen, private jacuzzi, dining area and a television. We hotel-hopped at in Tulum and found Naj to have the best air conditioning and although we didn’t need it, the TV which no other hotel offered, was ideal for staying in and relaxing. Naj is strategically located in the up and coming Aldea Zama - the neighborhood is quiet and a bit off the main hotel zones or pueblo, but provides easy access to all other neighborhoods. Perfect for those with a car but there are plenty of taxis around. There are minimarts nearby but the Chedraui supermarket is a drive - which is okay as Naj has a full size refrigerator to stock up. Thank you Naj for your hospitality and a beautiful experience. Can’t wait to come back!

The sound from the cars on the street was too much and could not fall asleep. The banister on the stairs was broken and almost fell on us. The last thing is access to this hotel is very difficult. There’s no direct way to get here. It’s a lot small streets you have to take so get your navigation out.

Instalaciones nuevas con un interiorísmo natural y cálido; muy cómodo y dotado de cocina con todos los enseres necesarios; la habitación que estuvimos disponía una pequeña piscina propia. La única objeción que pondría sería la falta de seguridad ante resbalones tanto en la piscina individual como la piscina colectiva del terrado; una barandilla lateral evitaría caídas al vacío.

Had an amazing stay at NAJ Tulum. The room gave off the tulum esthetics and we also had a private plunge pool. Had access to the roof top pool as well which was empty each time we went up which I loved! Braulio & Alfonso made us feel very safe and welcomed. Will definitely visit again when coming to tulum. The hosts were Amazing Nath checked us in and made us feel right at home! The wonderful man at checkout not only help us carry our bags to our car but also give us so many wonderful recommendations!! Could not recommend this place enough will definitely be staying again! The roads are well paved there is grocery store “fresh market” 2 minutes down the road. And lots of cute restaurants around! If you are staying in the building closes to the main road you can hear a light hum of traffic but it didn’t keep me awake at all! There are 4 parking spots, we parked on the street and our car was perfectly safe, they have cameras to watch your car. They check in with me every step of the way upon booking and made me feel excited about the trip. You can tell that everyone who works on the property loves their job! The bed was cozy and everything was very clean the kitchen had everything we needed! This is a most stay location! (They do have beach towels that you can bring to the beach or Cenote with no charge as long as you bring them back!)

The accomodation itself was very lovely - bed very comfortable, kitchennette useful and nice toiletries. The "private pool" was a cold plunge tub - nice to cool off after a day out. The communal rooftop pool is very small - can't swim properly and would be awkward if another person was already in. The rooftop view, loungers were nice. It's very noisy, we were in the room furthest away from a main road and still heard a lot of traffic noise with the doors shut. Obviously the noise was worse when sitting outside- not peaceful jungle vibes. The hotel is one of very few completed in the area and the rest are a complete construction site, so not nice to wonder around and there was plenty of construction noise too. The views are of unfinished hotels. The hotel is far from the town centre and the beach - if you want to stay there you'll want your own transportation or take taxis, both options are extortionate. We wanted to walk places but it'd be 45 mins on a dodgy road. There were no big supermarkets nearby so we were relying on the hotel for water which we could only get through the staff who'd bring a jug over - not ideal as we wanted to stay hydrated in the heat and must have been annoying for them too. There's no food outlets at the hotel and a handful of restaurants nearby are overpriced and rip tourists off. The accomodation was lovely overall but if I were you, I'd wait ~2 years when the area is more established and there are better links/shuttles to town/beach.

The property itself was not bad, it is not old, everything inside is looking like in the photos, but...the service was poor, i would say even upsetting, because you need to ask the host for everything and every day. For example every day you need to ask for water, coffee sticks (there were two coffee sticks at the beginning as there is a coffee machine there) sugar...every second or third day you need to ask for toilet paper, fresh towels and so on... The cleaning was every second day which is not that bad, but they only make up your bed, and wash the dishes and take out trash... What about the area - construction all around which is going even on weekends. Now about the host - very pleasant guy, was always ready to help you, gave few advises, where to go and what to do, but as i said there should be a list of what is included in to the price and what have to be paid extra and you do not have to ask for such things like water, towels, sugar, coffee, and so on Over all, it was definitely not the worst place we have been in our life, but they need to work on logic of there services.

He was available 24/7 for any questions and concerns. Room was clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable which is of the utmost importance to us when travelling. Parking was easy and we were within a mile of restaurants, bars, etc. if we find ourselves in Tulum again we will definitely return to this property.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The property is new, with great design and styling. Spacious, comfortable bed, fast wifi, great AC. Plus the manager, Braulio, was always in touch - providing recommendations for the best places to eat/drink around Tulum. He was also helpful with some questions we had about the area. The only note - if you’re a light sleeper, it might be a little loud for you because of a nearby road, but it’s not too bad. Didn’t bother us after the first nice. Look no further, Naj Tulum is awesome.

Fue una super experiencia, principalmente por las habitaciones de mucho lujo desde los jabones hasta las sábanas y almohadas, delicioso!! Además, a diferencia de otros lugares en los que me quedé antes aquí nos recibió Braulio, gerente del lugar, quien en todo momento estuvo atento a lo que necesitáramos y ayudándonos a organizar con mucha experiencia y opciones buenos sitios para conocer. NAJ, super recomendable!!!

Location is a bit out of the way from the 'town center' but still walkable. Night time walks can be challenging because the area is not well lit and the design of this particular area is like a maze. Still, it is very flat and very safe and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at Naj Tulum. Overall high standard and beautifully decorated rooms. The terrace with the private pool was fantastic. Lastly the concierge Braulio was very helpful sharing good insights to enhance our Tulum stay and regularly checking in if he could be of assistance

Très bruyant!! on entend les autos comme s'ils étaient dans la chambre. Notre air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas, la chambre est très petite, les dimensions mentionnés ne sont pas respectés. La chambre mentionnait qu'il avait un petit salon mais il y a seulement de petit lit simple

This is a nice quiet part of Tulum yet walkable i’m close to lots of stuff. The hotel staff was really communicative through ‎WhatsApps and was very accommodating. Our room was lovely very quiet nice balcony very decent kitchen. Would come back.

Had a nice stay. Rooms and beds are comfy. Only thing is we asked for an upgrade and we were told it would be too expensive. Probably our one night stay wasn’t worth the upgrade for them but we were willing to do it if we were given the choice. Their loss.

Our Experience at Naj was a very good one. Braulio, the host, was very friendly and helpful. The property is in the trendy Aldea Zama neighborhood. Good restaurants nearby. The property is well kept. It's a little noisy tho, there is a main road behind the building.

Away from Tulum main st hustle and bustle. Easy 30 minute walk into town. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. Noisy street behind the building.
