Stayed 3 nights

PROS: • Gorgeous nature beauty all around. Wonderful jungle experience. • Three level living quarters that includes a rooftop deck. • Good wifi and technology given it’s in the jungle and sustainable • Host will arrange all tours and transportation you will need. Most times they get a better price for taxis, etc. • Very accommodating hosts who check on things daily and will try and get you anything you need • Washer and dryer as well as a full kitchen • Filtered water dispenser • There seems to be a fun nightlife on the shared balcony. We did not partake but the noise was not bothersome in any way. • Private plunge pool. CONS: • Lack of information on what’s included with the reservations (ie: food, water, supplies, programs). There is no restaurant on the property and having your own food is important. (I think they can arrange for catering for large groups though). HELPFUL TIPS: • You will need a taxi or rent a car to go grocery shopping. The small town that’s close to the resort has very limited groceries. • There aren’t restaurants close by and we planned to do our own cooking. Make sure to purchase the basics like salt and pepper, oil/butter, tin foil, plastic wrap and something to put leftovers in. There are plates, bowls, cups, glasses, silverware and cookware. We had a large and small fry pan, a medium/large saucepan with a lid and one glass oven baking dish. Get laundry detergent. • You need to be able to climb stairs.
