Our second stay. Fantastic location just back from The Strand and short walk to The Coffee Club. Easy secure parking, though limited, but easy street parking if full. Older property and slightly dated but very comfortable and affordable. In 1 bedroom, with good cooking facilities and washing machine/dryer in unit. Wonderful patio with ocean views. Am sure we will be back.

The pool was a no go zone: green. I've stayed in better; I've stayed in worse. Woud I stay there agian? Yes, have tried to do so but my middle dates for the last week in March are booked out.

The staff gave us exceptional service. Very easy to get our heavy suitcases upstairs.... moving trolleys supplied. Very enjoyable stay, the swimming pool looked so inviting but the weather was a bit too cool fir my liking. I would definitely stay at The Madisin Ocean Breeze again! Five stars!

Great stay, would happily stay again. Pleased with the undercover, secure parking. Our one bedroom apartment was very spacious. We were on the ground floor and our patio had a lovely view of the ocean. Amazing location for the price.

Easy lift access to the three floors, Splacous room with balcony with partial sea view. Microwave.stove and kitchen facilites for preparing your own breakfast and light meals. Comfortable beds.

We arrived with our rom not ready at 4pm there was no communication to advise that our room was still not ready and when ready our room was still very dirty. Used soap and Dirty wash clothes in the bathrooms

This is a well located property near The Strand. The one-bedroom unit was large and comfortable. The rooms are not luxurious. The unit was spotlessly clean. The staff were good to deal with. I even received a call to ask what time we were arriving to ensure that the room would be cleaned and available in time.

The first room that I was given had a bad odour and the ceiling above the bed was covered in what appeared to be mold. Staff were very unhelpful over the phone and actioned a change in room following an email. I would/will never stay there again.

I was happy until bed time when i removed the covers on the bed and saw the pillow with hair on both sides of it. The bed dipped in the middle it was so soft. The fan is covered thick in dust and spider webs and nests all around ceiling. The shower jet was stuck on 3 streams of water. The fridge even had what looked like a pubic hair on the shelf

A bit of a mixed bag stay. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. There's a fridge and kitchen with coffee and tea. Great location almost on the Strand with an excellent pub, restaurant across the road. Shops and cafes close by. Undercover secure parking. Bed was very comfortable, though the pillows were not. Shower had good hot water and water pressure, but surprisingly low down. Awkward for taller people. Nice balcony. Unfortunately there was a loud noise like a loud dryer or something going next door from the time I arrived until I left. Didnt get much sleep at all. Would try again, but definitely not in Room 36!

AIR CON IS FIXED TO 26c Stayed here many times and the property ticks all the boxes except for the lack of air-conditioning. The A/C ducted system cannot be adjusted closer than 26c. On arrival into Townsville to was a hot humid night in the high 20's. The a/c worked a little but by morning it was much cooler outside than in. 21c out and 26c inside . I could not sleep due to the heat. Really bad experience.

Nicely appointed apartments close to supermarket, beach and eating options. Beds were very soft, maybe a little too soft if you have back issues but the room was clean and had everything you need to cook. Water pressure and hot water wasn’t an issue. Only downside was the fact you are unable control room temperature which is permanently set to 24 degrees Celsius but sleeping wasn’t uncomfortable. I will definitely stay there again.

Absolutely fantastic hotel with lovely staff. We stayed in a newly renovated room that was very modern and the the softest mattresses I have ever slept on at a hotel. Must stay if you are stopping through Townsville

Receptionist is rude, unhelpful and hang the phone up on me many times. Her name is Tarni. Apartments are clean and comfortable, air-conditioning is controlled from reception, if you open balcony door it cuts out & then you need to call reception to turn on again. Unfortunately we opened balcony door after 8pm & we couldn’t get air conditioning to work again, we called reception, we went to reception, we called the after hours number, made for a very uncomfortable sleep in the tropics with 30 degree temperatures. Spent the night talking with Wotif to assist, they also wasn’t able to contact the hotel, Still calling today 5 days later trying to follow up my refund for the inconvenience, to be told by Tarni that the manger is dealing with multiple complaints. And will contact me when she can. Then hang up the phone. Never have I ever experienced such a lack of customer service, the hotel Receptionist has no professionalism, my stay was terrible. The friendly staff allowed an early check in. The rooms are very spacious, fabulous amenities, loved the large bathroom with a washing machine and dryer and most of all the amazing soft bed. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent service and very friendly and courteous staff. We highly appreciated the early check-in at around 10.30am, instead of being told to wait until or thereabouts unlike almost all other accommodation places. All facilities and amenities very well provided and the most relaxed holiday we had in a long time.

We loved our stay at Madison Ocean Breeze! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, including a full kitchen which was well stocked. The position of the apartment was close to Coles, lots of cafes and the foreshore which we enjoyed walking along each morning. A great spot for a stay in Townsville
