Room was clean, air conditioning unit was effective and surprisingly quiet, location has plenty to offer in regards to leisure shopping as well as groceries for longer stays. Pool was sparkling clean and a great way to pass time. Staff was attentive and friendly. Breakfast options had some nice surprises including a yogurt dispenser with fixins.

Hotel is nice but beware there is an issue with car break ins. Hotel management knows of issues but has not placed cameras or signs on property to deter victimization of patrons. Hotel management stated you park at your own risk. Hotel management stated they have signs in lobby stating park at your own risk. The signs are posted over the coffee station. I don't drink coffee, how would I see the sign...smh I stayed at property for 4 nights and my rental car (2022 Toyota Tundra) driver side window was broken. Fortunately, I never leave anything in vehicles so the criminal got nothing from car. Unfortunately, I incurred expenses from the vehicle break-in...smh. Home 2 Suites gave me 1 night hotel refund. I believe I should have at least got 2 nights refunded.

Convenient location, rooms were nice size, desk staff was great, hotel and pool was clean. Only have one small complaint on the older lady at the breakfast. She was very snappy. Luckily she was not there our second morning.

This property is beginning to show its age, but the main issue for me was that they charge for parking, but don’t tell you about it until AFTER you put your credit card in for incidentals AND they don’t give you a tag or verify parking, so it’s really just an arbitrary fee and there are signs EVERYWHERE telling customers they aren’t responsible for stolen items, which leads me to believe they have that issue frequently. But seriously, super shady to divulge your NEW parking fee that started 2 days before I checked in AFTER you’ve obtained my card-it feels dishonest. I travel weekly and rarely stay in Hilton’s and I’m reminded why now-they nickel and dime you for everything (internet, parking, etc.) and the facilities I’ve frequented always just seem a little more run down than the neighboring Marriott or IHG. There was also quite a bit of short, straight hair in the bathroom that was NOT ours, so cleanliness was a concern. We also were treated to an hour long concert at 7am by the neighbor’s dog. They should have certain rooms that are dog friendly and more insulated from sound for those who choose to leave their fur babies home during vacation. With all that being said, it was far from the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, I just felt that the facilities did not fit the price and the parking thing was scammy. Beds were comfortable and I appreciated the coffee in the lobby. I’d stay here again if the Marriott next door was sold out and I needed to be in the area.

Pros: Great location. Walking distance to the Rim restaurants. Large gym with nice dumbbells. Cons: Perfume in lobby is overly strong. Expensive washer/dryer. Breakfast kind of iffy.

All the rooms had a heavy mold smell. The air in the rooms was damp. And it smelled terrible like someone sprayed an entire bottle of men’s old spice cologne to cover up the mold smell. Gross. We tried 3 rooms and all the same. We had to leave the hotel to find somewhere else to stay. They also charge a parking fee and for this location it is completely unnecessary. Very disappointing.

DIRTY ROOM!! pillows not comfortable at all!! Hairs ,in the bathtub and restroom floor. Already open soap from previous guests. Trash on the foor and hair beads from previous guest. So obviously floors where housekeepers are NOT doing their job .

They forgot to clean my room. When I called, they blamed “the system”. For $1,000 for 4 nights, I expect a clean room. If the system goes down, knock on doors and ask. Also, when someone calls that their room has been missed, do it first the following day. Don’t make them request it again at 1:00 the next afternoon. I come into town regularly for kids sporting events and this was our first time at Home2Suites. I’ll go back to my usual hotel. The staff seemed more annoyed I was asking for a service they were supposed to provide than actually making it right.

Brain greeted us and was so friendly and knowledgeable. I knew right away we made the right choice in hotels. The hotel was very clean when you walked in it smelt clean the staff was very friendly the room was spotless!!

We were greatly surprised that the hotel was within 5 minutes to Fiesta Texas and 2 minutes from a shopping/ dining area. The hotel room was clean, smelling fresh and the staff were very nice from the moment we arrived until we left. Breakfast was yummy as well. This is our new "stay" place every time we visit San Antonio.

There was no wi-fi the entire stay. I went to front desk but no one could figure it out. It was not my phone as every place else I had to go the wi-fi worked perfectly. This was very inconvenient as I had to leave to do work projects.

We always look for Homes2Stay every time we go on a vacation. This hotel has the best commodities, nice breakfast, very close to shopping, dining and Fiesta Texas! The rooms are very spacious and comfortables! We are a family of 4, my kids are teenagers and they enjoy being in this hotel a lot!

I stayed in room 309 with my family. Unfortunately it felt like the room never got cold and I went down stairs the 1st night and informed the front desk and they said that there was nothing they could do at the moment. I asked if they had a fan to help circulate the air and was given one. It stayed like that for the 2nd night as well. Overall Hotel was nice but my room never got below 75 degrees. Three kids at that temperature was not easy.

From the front desk to the room, everything was orderly and clean. Our desk attendant let us check in several hours before check i time, and since we were going to Fiesta Texas, this was a nice surprise. 5/5 Great value all around.

Terrible service at front desk. They told us they dont like what they call third-party bookings which is Hotels.com. The mean front desk lady told us she couldn't find our reservation we were there for more than half an hour waiting until we called Hotels.com and they immediately solved the no finding issue. It was a rewards nigth because our points on Hotels.com and the hotel did several charges to our credit card that I still have to dispute because the nigth was fully paid with our points. The room: the blinds were full of holes. To not make the long story, please, there is so many options out there and dont stay in this place where you will feel totally unwelcome. Save you time and effort.

Staying at Home2 Suites was an awesome experience! Anita welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the halls were nice and quiet. Parking was easy, and there was plenty of shopping nearby. Highly recommend!

They seem to have managers and front desk associates that never know what is going on. Horrible service. The security is a joke too. Do not stay here and spare yourself the inconvenience of dealing with incompetent people.

The worst experience with a nefarious guy named RALPH, rude, impolite and just a plain out liar; he told us we’d get a room cleaning and towel changing service the next day, which didn’t happen and we left the towels on the floor for fresh ones to be put up, that didn’t happen, when I went to front desk to ask why we didn’t get the service, RALPH said it was probably because we left the Do Not Diturb sign on the door handle, which of course we didn’t, so he offered to give us more towels, since we were on our way out I told him once we got back we’d pick them up; at our return we asked RALPH for the towels, and after ignoring us for about 10 minutes he went in the back and gave us a bunch of hand towels. His attitude overshadowed the great building and furnishings, shame on him!

The suite was perfect for us, retired couple and adult son in late 20s. We appreciated the living area and kitchenette. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Location easy to find and handy to shops & dining. Target is walking distance. Very well priced for what we got.

Out of all the places we stayed on our Texas holiday this was our favourite. Not only was the room larger than expected but it even had a kitchenette. The staff were remarkably helpful, assisting in our last minute unforeseen date change and giving us the assurance we needed to feel confident in our travel plans. This location is great if you plan on visiting Six Flags Fiesta, and just down the road is The Rim which has great shopping and dining options.

We love this hotel. The sofa bed was perfect for our college son who stayed with us for the night. Bed was super comfy. I love that room has a mini kitchen. Breakfast options were great. I recommend thid hotel and would go back.

The front desk ppl were very helpful but the kitchen staff werent. For breakfast i picked a sandwhich put out for the guests to eat, it was frozen solid. When i mentioned it to the kitchen staff, the lady told me, "thats the way they come, want me to put it in the microwave or what." Or what??? No sorry whatsoever. The breakfast was horrible. Our room wasnt ready til past 3pm that is given the check in time and the connecting rooms. It was such an inconvenience. I never stay at hilton but this is my reasons for telling my friends and fam to go somewhere.

Room was clean and layout was very well thought out. Air conditioner dos a great job keeping cool whielnstaying quiet. Staff was very friendly , breakfast had nice healthy options. Kitchenware items were clean when arrived and made the stay much nicer though there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. A quick drive to locations nearby including Six Flags Fiesta Texas make this one of my family's favorite locations to stay in San Antonio. Thank you.

I really enjoyed my stay here. We had a delicious free breakfast and delicious coffee before we left. We had reserved the room to go to fiesta Texas. It was a blast! And the room was clean and the space was quiet and not loud at all. Very family friendly.
