We loved staying here! The best part was that there was a rooftop bar on the 7th floor that had an amazing bartender, Jean, and a beautiful view of the space needle!! Will probably come here over and over.

Unique hotel, lovely skyline views, with a bar. We had a great breakfast, delicious breakfast croissants sandwiches they were kind enough to make them to go for us since we were headed to the train station .

The hotel was in a perfect walking distance from the pier. It was beautiful and the staff was helpful and very nice. The bartenders at the on site restaurant were great!

Breakfast was only available in the bistro and not offered elsewhere. The location was great and the room was clean; however, housekeeping arrived quite late in the afternoon (between 3:00–5:30 pm), which was difficult to accommodate with little notice. Parking is not available on the same block as the hotel, though it is more affordable than valet options. Unsure if we would stay at this location again.

Beautiful hotel and 2we loved the theme (Sound). Chase was very welcoming at the front desk and Samuel was an excellent server in The Currant cafe. Caker parking attendants were always friendly. Breakfast choices were varied and delicious. Workout facility was small but had everything we needed. Room very clean and comfortable. Bathroom could use more space for toiletries and hooks for hand towels. Shower pressure was good. We walked everywhere in the area and also used the light rail train which was just a few blocks away. Be careful going north from hotel - area did not feel as safe. Only negatives: the terrace did not open until 8 am (we were never able to have coffee out there) and was closed two of our three nights there, so we weren’t able to have a drink out there, either. We arrived from airport after 9 pm - Hours posted for Currant cafe/bar said open til 10 pm but our bartender made it clear he was closing up at 9:30 - rushed us to order then took a long time to bring our drinks. Instead of being able to relax after a full day of travel, we felt rushed.

As for the staff, I had great encounters with four of the six people that I interacted with during my multiple night stay. The other two were rude, not helpful and should find work in anther industry. They do not have a self-serve parking garage, which could be difficult if you want to use the limited street parking in this part of town and do not want to utilize their valet parking for $49 a day. If you don’t need a car for your stay, there is plenty of places within walking distance for dining and tourist like activities. Overall, I would stay here again, especially if I didn’t have a vehicle with me.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Most of the staff was great, but the guy who checked me in was not friendly and did not give me my breakfast vouchers. I got them later, but I don’t suggest you get the breakfast included as it limits your options and is not a good deal. They do not have a real breakfast buffet. FYI this hotel caters to Amazon employees mostly. Also — the hotel is only the first 10 floors, so don’t expect amazing views. The new 7th floor bar and the bartender are both great.

Fantastic stay. We walked to all main areas (Pike Place, Space Needle, Capital Hill, Pioneer Square) you really can’t find anywhere in a better location - also as close to the tram it was so easy to get to/from the airport. Great local food and drink options. The staff were so friendly and attentive. We used the fitness centre which had everything you needed (incl Peloton bike) but there was an option to upgrade to a more comprehensive gym too. All amenities in the room were fab and easy to get more of things from the front desk like coffee pods. Overall we loved the hotel and would recommend to all our friends and family!

Check in was great. The hotel has an awesome little lobby shop with all sorts of goodies for convenient purchase. The restaurant was great for breakfast and our room was a great size and the beds were comfy. My only complaint is the additional $60 for valet parking. Look into parking elsewhere if you stay here.

The hotel is in a good location and the room was very nice--on the 8th floor in the back so no street noise. However, the HVAC was extremely noisy and we had to keep it turned off. Our room was never serviced. The 1st morning we declined room service, the 2nd morning we asked for it. At 2pm, our room hadn't been cleaned and we asked again. It was never cleaned. The bed was comfortable but, like many hotels, the comforter and mattress pad were filled with feathers, down or similar which made sleeping uncomfortably hot.

Very helpful staff. Couple of things that weren't told to us when we checked in, and I wish the property was more upfront. 1). You must opt in for daily room cleaning, I had never heard of this before and wasn't informed of this when checking in. 2). If you opt to go to the gym on the 7th floor, the fee is $25/day. When I inquired about this upon check in I was told it was a one time fee of $25. So, when I checked out I was surprised to see that I had a room charge of approximately $100. It is nice to be informed of items like this when you check in and not have to figure them out or be surprised by them later. Very nice people work there, more information needs to be shared though.

Property was clean and has friendly welcoming staff. We stayed for 4 days and not once did we get our room cleaned. We called about 3 times to request service to get it cleaned and new towels at least for the restroom and trash taken out but no one ever showed up to provide the service.

The hotel rooms were very clean and equipped with the amenities we needed upon arrival. We were there for two nights and opted for room service which we did need to call down to the desk twice about on the second day. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower was a highlight and appreciated by the group.

Overall very nice. We were on the 2nd floor facing the street and it was noisy at times. Also the tv screen would pixilate so the pic wasn't always clear. Staff was very helpful and the room and bath especially the shower was great.

If we ever go back to Seattle, The Sound is where we will stay again. Outstanding customer service; they were able to accommodate us 9 hours before check in time without us even asking since they had availability. The location is perfect, at a walkable distance from the main attractions. The room is big and comfortable; we had plenty of space to place our 4 big suitcases and there was still lots of room to walk around without bumping into them. It was clean all around.
If we ever go back to Seattle, The Sound is where we will stay again. Outstanding customer service; they were able to accommodate us 9 hours before check in time without us even asking since they had availability. Other then not knowing how to turn down the thermostat the first night and never being able to connect to the WiFi after many many tries. It was a great stay. Super comfy bed and pillows. Shower very nice! Nice spacious room and very clean.

Overall a great hotel, all the staff were super friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Our heating/cooling unit in our room was unfortunately quite noisy, and there were many sounds throughout the hotel we could hear through the night.

Great location, except it was a dead zone for my phone, so had to walk half a block to find directions or get an Uber. Air conditioner didn’t work. Windows don't open. Pricey. Mini fridge but no microwave. Coffee maker also didn't work peoperly. Staff was nice, but didn’t follow through on what they said they would do. So, a lot of potential, but currently a swing and miss.

This place was a spectacular find in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to pike place and other tourist spots. Pros: For being downtown, the soundproofing of our room that faced the street was superb. Blackout curtains actually work. The body wash and hair products are VERY high end. I looked it up because it smelled so good. Beds and pillows were nice. Room was surprisingly spacious. We do drink coffee in our room and most of the time it’s mediocre at best but not this time. It was not just drinkable but it was tasty. Staff was pleasant but I expect nothing less than that from Hilton because I’ve never had a bad stay. Knock on wood. Yes, you have to pay for parking but all hotels have that fee and the nice thing is that they let us keep it parked until 3 which meant we got to go walk around after check out and didn’t have to worry about parking again downtown. The ONLY con to this room was the chair in the room. I know that sounds silly to complain about but it was the most uncomfortable chair I’ve ever sat in. 10/10 would stay here again.

Yes, you have to pay for parking but all hotels have that fee and the nice thing is that they let us keep it parked until 3 which meant we got to go walk around after check out and didn’t have to worry about parking again downtown. The ONLY con to this room was the chair in the room. I know that sounds silly to complain about but it was the most uncomfortable chair I’ve ever sat in. 10/10 would stay here again.

This is a great newer hotel in Seattle. The room was nice, new and roomy. Bathroom was in great condition and the entire experience was very positive. The one downside is the surrounding area is a little sketchy but it’s a short walk to all to Seattle’s attractions.

Modern and exceptionally clean hotel in a great location. Close to major tourist sites and public transit options, and easy to arrange for rideshare pickups. The beds are spacious and comfortable, and also the size of the rooms are fantastic, especially if you are sharing with a friend or family. The addition of a bluetooth speaker is great, and the TV has modern apps like YouTube, Netflix, etc. Unfortunately they only offer housekeeping services every other day.

The front desk staff was great - we left something in the room and Gustav and the other guys made sure they got it back to us safe & sound. They went above & beyond to help us out. Room was clean & spacious and nicely appointed. Very convenient central location within walking distance of most downtown Seattle landmarks. The only critique is that the area around the hotel had a lot of homelessness & drug activity. Not the hotel's fault, but we made sure to be mindful of our surroundings. Didn’t have any issues.

Perfect location for us to quickly and efficiently get to the port for our cruise. The staff was the best part of the hotel. Very kind and friendly. Shout out to Jordan the doorman. He was amazing and super helpful!! Would consider staying again just to see him again!

Paid for a room in advance for our Asian family member, and when she arrived the guy who was supposed to help her check in refused to take her card and told her they wouldn’t let her stay. She calls me for assistance, and the guy refused to even speak with me on the phone to get my credit card info. He kept insisting that she couldn’t stay at the hotel and he wouldn’t help. I told her to ask for the manager, and he tried to refuse that as well. However, we stood our ground and waited for a manager to speak with me, at which time she said it was a simple matter of me filling out a one minute card authorization form, which was frankly a small matter. Big take away, the men at the front desk are aggressive toward women and Asians, but are fine with white males. If you’re an Asian or a woman, definitely for your safety don’t go to this hotel.

If we ever go back to Seattle, The Sound is where we will stay again. Outstanding customer service; they were able to accommodate us 9 hours before check in time without us even asking since they had availability. The location is perfect, at a walkable distance from the main attractions. The room is big and comfortable; we had plenty of space to place our 4 big suitcases and there was still lots of room to walk around without bumping into them. It was clean all around.

The staff were amazing and went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied. Although there were a couple of minor issues we had, the manager, Greg, went above and beyond to make sure he made it right. So the customer service was extremely good overall.

We had an amazing time at the Sound. Incredible staff let us check in hrs early, always held the door for us, greeted us when we came in, and overall very lovely! I would definitely stay here again next time I am in town.

The person who checked us in was horrible, rude, and should not be in a customer service position. Our first impression was I should have picked another hotel. My 12 year old daughter noticed the guy was rude. Everyone else was fantastic. It is a shame 1 person can make you disappointed. Move that person behind the scenes.

The property itself is beautiful. The rooms are well designed and spacious. The staff was average with the exception of one doorman. The front desk staff seemed to be very interested in the computers in front of them rather than making eye contact and being helpful. You are within walking distance to Pike Place Market but if you have difficulty navigating hills, take a taxi or other transportation. Lots of homeless in the immediate area.

We stayed here for a couple of nights prior to going on a cruise. It is conveniently located. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The area is a bit sketchy a block away. We had dinner about 5 minutes away and on the way back we passed homeless and drug users. I would not want to do that walk again. There is a restaurant onsite as well as snacks downstairs if you get hungry. Overall we were comfortable, just be careful which way you walk.

Staffs were friendly and helpful. The room was nice, clean and up to dated. One thing impressed my wife the most was shampoo, conditioner and lotion ( brand SACHAJUAN ). The foods was unacceptable. We ordered the 8 oz Prime Top Sirloin Steak ( $ 45 ) which was tough couldn’t chew and the Chocolate Cake was dried. We just enjoyed the Pulled Pork Sliders which tasty and enjoyed some drinks too. The manager gave us $ 50 coupon for the tough Steak. So we came back the next day to order the Pulled Pork Sliders again.

Beautiful hotel and 2we loved the theme (Sound). Chase was very welcoming at the front desk and Samuel was an excellent server in The Currant cafe. Caker parking attendants were always friendly. Breakfast choices were varied and delicious. Workout facility was small but had everything we needed. Room very clean and comfortable. Bathroom could use more space for toiletries and hooks for hand towels. Shower pressure was good. We walked everywhere in the area and also used the light rail train which was just a few blocks away. Be careful going north from hotel - area did not feel as safe. Only negatives: the terrace did not open until 8 am (we were never able to have coffee out there) and was closed two of our three nights there, so we weren’t able to have a drink out there, either. We arrived from airport after 9 pm - Hours posted for Currant cafe/bar said open til 10 pm but our bartender made it clear he was closing up at 9:30 - rushed us to order then took a long time to bring our drinks. Instead of being able to relax after a full day of travel, we felt rushed.

Everyone that worked at the hotel was great and really friendly. I especially loved the free champagne hour in the lobby! The rooms were a great size and clean. And the Sound bite bar on the 7th floor was nice with a great view. The location was great for everything we did during our visit, and had a couple of great restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend staying here.

I got them later, but I don’t suggest you get the breakfast included as it limits your options and is not a good deal. They do not have a real breakfast buffet. FYI this hotel caters to Amazon employees mostly. Also — the hotel is only the first 10 floors, so don’t expect amazing views. The new 7th floor bar and the bartender are both great.

I would come back and stay here in a heartbeat. Great location. It’s a five minute walk to the mall or a seven minute walk to Pike’s market and gum Alley. The staff was overly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and beautiful.

Three strikes this time. Lousy TV. Poor cell reception in the room. Had to stand next to the window to use a cell phone. Asked the front desk for towels on a room cleaning day when service was late. Front office never reached a housekeeper to deliver. We've stayed here more than a few times. Looked like the rooms had been upgraded. Very nice. But can't remember a time when service wasn't terrific.
