Everything was new, room was clean, bed was comfortable, hot showers and included full size fridge and stove.

All of the 1st floor rooms are smoking rooms. If you want nonsmoking you’ll be on the 2nd floor. We had a double queen room, both comforters were dirty and stained.

It was upsetting at the start to see the bullet proof glass at the reception desk! It didnt feel like a safe place. The staff was not friendly at all. The room seemed clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathtowels were paper thin. The breakfast was really bad. They pretty much had cold cereal and bread. The waffles were out, the beverages were out, No juice at all. No fruit or anything else. Only coffee which we don't drink. We had to go someplace for breakfast.

Great service, the staff remembers me and my preferences. They are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are CLEAN and NICE, tile floors, nice bathrooms. Great place to stay.

One night stay on way from Florida to San Antonio. Great value for the price. Looks like updated decor, with kitchenette for people looking for extended stay.

Only smoking room available, in town for overnight. It was bearable, very clean and modern room.

It’s a newly renovated house. I like it.

it was just for one night, but there was hair everywhere in the bathroom like someone just got done shaving and didnt clean after themselves and red hair all over the toilet and floors

This was our second time staying at the Scottish Inn. We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. There were hairs in the bathtub and very noticeable stains on the couch. The toilet paper wasn't even refilled. We also didn’t care for the coffee pot being in the bathroom. Everything else was great! The roombwas cool and comfortable, as was the bed. Staff was great as always. We would definitely stay her again.

The first thing that I noticed is that the room was very cold which I absolutely loved. I detest arriving to a hot room and having to wait for the air conditioner to cool room off enough. The room was very inviting. It was beautiful actually and I was quite surprised.

no carpet in the room makes it so much better to keep clean. new tile floors and shower walls. nice counters. Bed was comfortable, pillows were okay. Tv good. Breakfast fair. Not sure about water pressure in TX area.

Good choice for the money. Room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Lots of extra amenities in the bathroom such as toothbrushes and body lotion. The only negative was the breakfast which was lacking. Yogurt, bananas, cereal and the ubiquitous waffles. No bread for toast. But the coffee was very good!

First room they gave me the windows would open from inside and out even if they were locked . I got moved to a different room and was informed that the tv screen was very dim and didn’t get brighter.

My experience here was fine I suppose. The staff was friendly but somehow, they misunderstood that my stay was for two nights not just one and so I was woken up in the morning by the staff to tell me that I needed to be gone in 15 minutes (before 11:00 a.m.) and I didn't leave until the next day. I mainly worried that I had booked my stay incorrectly and so I had to get up get dressed (after a long day of catching flights and driving) and go to the office. It was all cleared up but seemed like an obnoxious oversight that I'm not quite sure how it happened to begin with. To be clear though, the staff was nothing but friendly and helpful about the issue. I was also sort of annoyed that I couldn't adjust the temperature in my room at all. I can understand not allowing a guest to vastly change the room status, but I couldn't adjust it whatsoever. Also, the light / fan to the bathroom was one button combined on the outside of the bathroom door. As a result, when I took a shower that night if I wanted to keep the bathroom fan on the get the steam out, I had to also leave the light on. I also like the bathroom fan noise to help me sleep, but it also leaves the light on at the same time, so it wasn't the biggest deal in the world but just minor issues. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and I slept well. I would stay here again no problem.

This place is super comfortable, clean and excellent value. We were visiting family nearby so the location was good for us. The air con was a bit loud at night as we are not used to it but great given the Texan heat.

Updated room and bathroom, everything looked and felt clean. Only caveat was that someone previously smoked in this non-smoking room. The heating/cooling system was ran from a thermostat so we were comfortable.

The room was completely remodeled. It was very modern and spacious. I recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Far exceeded my expectations.

I got into town at 2 am and they tried to charge me for 2 days. I was exhausted from being at the hospital all day and couldn’t get checked in for 2 more hours. Poor customer service and I won’t go back or use Expedia ever again.

The room was great and the workers were really nice. My husband and i couldn't check in until 12:30am and the front desk called to check on us before we even got there. I am always nervous about staying where the door is on the outside but it was quite and felt safe. Breakfast is cereal and waffles. All but two of the butter packets were open!! The water pressure was very low in the shower. The kitchen is not stocked AT ALL, NOTHING. My favorite part was that there was a vent in the bathroom!!!! Also, if you need, you can rent the room by the hour!

The hotel was very clean and checkbin and out was seamless.

Manager very rude and racist she knocks at everyone’s door saying we have more guest then allowed. I had a double bed room with my 3 adult children a friend stopped by to bring food because of bad storms and wanted to check on us never one time did more than 4 people sleep in the room

My vehicle wouldn’t start after checkout and they asked me to leave the lobby said I was no longer a guest while I waited on AAA she said if my vehicle wasn’t gone by 5 it would have to be towed I had already been staying there off and on for the past few weeks and couldn’t believe how I was treated. I was only checking out because she said it wasn’t anymore rooms available, but my daughter called and was told rooms were available they just don’t want to honor the prices from online third party so they can charge more money

Great place to stay. I was very impressed with the room, very up-to-date and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly. I've actually stayed there again since this review. There's actually a lot of stuff nearby it's right near Katie Mills Mall. You need to stay in the Katy area I highly recommend this hotel

Great price Very clean Perfect breakfast Just what we needed

My only critique was that the breakfast was lacking by the time I got down there at 7:30 a.m. Only a few slices bread on the counter, some Raisin Bran, and waffle batter. Not a deal breaker though as there are plenty oc restaurants and c-stores around. The daily high temps during my stay were 100 , so it was very refreshing to have ice cold AC in my room. The large TV had all the basic channels, and the housekeeping staff kept the place nice and clean, fresh towels, clean surfaces.
