Location was immediately off the main highway. Very easy to get to. Parking was very simple and free. Check in was graciously expedited by Mathew at the from desk, who quickly reviewed all the available services at this location. Would easily stay here again.

Front desk staff was on a power trip and not accommodating. The pool is very small and was very cold even for an indoor pool. The room is not a true suite, it only has a half divider wall with no ability to get privacy between beds and common area. Only stocked 3 towels when reservation was for 5 people. In the morning the breakfast staff was rude and snippy when we advised them there was no waffle mix.

My son and I enjoyed a recent stay at your hotel. Our room was very clean and modern. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. There were lots of options. Only complaint would be the pool. It is the smallest pool I’ve ever seen in a hotel. And it was chilly, it could have been a few degrees warmer.

There is construction in the area. The pool is very very small, and was not very warm at all so we decided not to swim at all. The room was comfortable and clean. I was not a fan of the scented soaps, shampoo and lotions in the room. So if you are like me bring your own hypoallergenic items.

Good hotel very close to Michigan State. Excellent if you are attending a sports event - it is a short walk from all athletic facilities and you don't have to worry about parking for the game,

Pool was closed and the listing on hotels.com didn’t indicate that. We are traveling with 4 kids so the pool is important to us. Hotels.com would not refund the cost even though we ended up moving to a different hotel.

Our family loved our stay at SpringHill Suites. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was GREAT. The staff were very kind and helpful. The pool is tiny and was freezing... but the kids were still happy with it. The only thing we didn't really love about the room was that the opaque bathroom door lets a lot of light through, so that made things a little more difficult traveling with small children, because they would wake up from the light if grownups tried to shower or use the bathroom while they were sleeping. All-in-all through, I *highly* recommend this hotel, and I expect that we will stay there again the next time we need accommodation in the Lansing area!

Not very clean. Dead bugs in the windowsill and hair in the shower. They moved me to a different room which didn't have any dead insects but still had sticky stuff on the desk and the tables next to the bed.

The hotel was conveniently located except for the strange entrance from the road. Our stay was great only issues were a smelly refrigerator and them emptying the trash but leaving dirty linens (small child wet the bed) in the room one day. I just brought them down to the front desk and they replaced plus gave us extra towels.

As with others, the light shining through the bathroom door hits people sleeping in the beds, and the door made some extra rattles when you opened and closed it. The TV was facing the "sitting area" but as the couch was acting as a bed, there wasn't anywhere to really watch it.

Beautiful hotel!! But the air conditioner in our room made a horrible noise. Not constant. The air conditioner would cycle thru, then fan would shut off. Then this horrible kerthunk noise would go off, go three or four times before shutting off. It woke us up every time. So not a restful night for us.

I liked the room very much. One area that I think the hotel needs to improvement, though, is the heating system. Maybe I should have asked for help but here was the problem: I stayed in January, and I'd set a room temperature of let's say 70. Warm air would blow out but after a point cold air would blow out. I don't know whether the room passed the temperature I set it at and then attempted to bring it back down, but this was not fun. The air blows right across the bed and so I ended up piling three of your pillows on top of each other, next to me, to fend off the cold breeze which happened intermittently all night. I was there for three nights. Even during the day, though, I had to close the sliding windows by the desk to not be cold. Has anyone else been bothered by this? I should have asked, but maybe instructions by the heat/air conditioning monitor by the door could have helped?

The walls are paper thin and the hallways is loud. I had the lady next door knock on my door at 930 that my young children were too loud! We’ve stayed at many hotels and never had that problem. Nice hotel but loud and train is loud also!

At check in time there were two people checking folks in. One person was being trained so it was really the eqivalent of 1 person. There were 4 of us in line and sooooo much time was spent with the first person (an adult) wanting to check into her mother's room. In a nutshell, tell her you cannot check into someone else's room, mother or not without them being there or saying okay. It took forever. Even when the woman finally tending to me she was still talking to the other woman. RUDE!

Property was clean and updated. Desk personnel were incompetent and rude. Made their inability to handle a booking through a 3rd party service a big deal. The gentleman at checkout was especially rude. Apparently he missed the hospitality classes and the inability to say thank you or your welcome. But know how to say “yep” when I said thank you.

Check-in process was a total annoyance as my son is only 20 but they need someone over 21 as accompany for check-in! A student with MSU ID arrived late from overseas without dorm assigned yet and was tired but needed to find someone 21 or older to help! I believe my son is not the only student this university town with similar situation while back to campus arrived late and hotel should offer flexibility to help but not just rejected check-in!!

This is our second stay at this facility. Everything about our experience was exceptional. From the friendly and helpful front desk crew, to the clean and comfortable amenities of the room, to the wonderful breakfast bar, everything was wonderful. The room shower was especially pleasurable, great water pressure and shower head, better than what we have at home. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was also very, very close to our activities on the MSU campus.

The best thing about the visit was the helpfulness of the front desk staff. I had a special request. So I called the hotel ahead of time and they were very helpful & accommodating. Upon arrival also had a good experience at the property. Great stay, very pleasant staff & good clean property. I would definitely stay here again & would recommend others to do the same.

Rooms are spacious and great for families with bigger kids. One can use the sofa if they refuse to share a queen! Lots of plugs which is also a must-have with a family of many devices. Breakfast was good - although not as replenished 30 minutes to close. Love to see all the MSU fans!

The room looks like what it is in the picture. Plenty of places to plug in charging devices, usb and normal plug. Very friendly staff. Ask for places to eat and they will give you a full page of places within 15 minutes. Breakfast could have used more seasoning probably, but it will still good. I will be returning when I am in the area
