Hotel is very clean as well as my room , staff was excellent and very helpful especially housekeeping ( Natalie ) . I didn’t care much for the stove top in my room being digital it kept shutting off when I tried using both at the same time and I also didn’t care for the laundry facilities having to use my credit card or Apple Pay!

Check in was fine. Fiund iut we were on 2nd and 4th floors and the elevator was not working. We both have handicaps so it was very difficult. No coffee or tea offered and no breakfast. No toiletries or hair dryer available in room. Had to ask for a hair dryer. No hand towels in room and 1 small bar of soap. Building is new and very nice just need to work on amenities for the price we paid. We paid 2 nights for what u offer for a week which i thought was ridiculous. Had to pay for incidentals which i dont know how they calculate but it was almost the full price of 1 night. We've bever paid over $50 for that fee. No attendant on duty from 9pm to 9am. Never been to a hotel that has no one at a desk.

I was there for four nights and the elevator broke down the second day I was there! It was repaired for one hour and broke again. I was placed on the fourth floor when I arrived and had to go up and down four flights of stairs, including carrying all of my luggage when I left, at 68 years old and was COPD! That is too bad because it was the cleanest hotel I have ever been in and the staff were wonderful, but that ruined the entire trip

Staff is super friendly. Very secure—2 locked doors before reaching the elevators. Full kitchen—*but* there is nothing in it— not even a sponge, no silverware, no coffee, no cups, nothing to heat water except the microwave. So be prepared.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and it did not meet expectations. The pet owners are the worse! I can’t tell you how many times the dogs staying here peed in the elevator!! You had to watch that you didn’t step in dog pee in the halls too. And they put us on 3rd floor and then put kids above us that were loud! Jumping off beds and up at 6am. Front desk is open limited hours. When I mentioned the people above us keeping us up they wouldn’t move us to another room. Their solution was to talk to the parents. There are kids running in hallways. There are finger prints on entry way doors. Just feels like the place isn’t clean.

This hotel is probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. I have traveled a lot. The only thing I wish they had….is a coffee pot. Or coffee available in the lobby. Had to go to gas station to get coffee every morning. Just a little inconvenient.

The room smelled of smoke. We addressed it with the front desk and they said they would investigate but then they were gone the rest of our stay. We tried to tell the lady on the kiosk when we checked out but she couldn't hear us or help us. We asked her to email us the information she was trying to tell us but we never received anything. The kiosk was completely worthless since she couldn't hear us and we couldn't hear her. Our room smelled so bad it was stifling- all our clothes smelled. It was either coming through the vent in the bathroom or a neighboring room. Additionally the sheets didn't fit on the bed so throughout the night the corners came off repeatedly. In my opinion extended stay shouldn't rent to one or two night stays because there are no amenities - not even someone at the front desk to complain to. Theres a full kitchen but not one spoon or glass. No coffee. We weren't aware we'd have to bring something like that for a two night stay. Stayed for 8 nights and used this a a home base for visiting family and friends in the area. The room was clean and large and the staff friendly. I wanted to cook meals there so it may have been helpful to have more or larger pans! Also directions on using the cookstove but I had a worker come and help me, very friendly! Would definately stay again.

Checked in at 8pm left at 7am. Just needed a place to stay for the night. Bed was really low and had no support. Room.was super clean. Checking in on the kiosk was the worst hotel check in experience ever.

The whole experience was very sterile. It was a virtual check-in. Never saw anyone at the front desk when coming or going. The lobby and corridors were just plain walls. The room was just furniture. Very cold with nothing on the walls. It was a very noisy stay as well. We heard loud, slamming doors all night long.

This place was perfect for us. Really liked the spaciousness and practical storage of the room (lots of cupboards and open shelving and open room under the bed), as well as the full size fridge, sink, microwave and even induction burners. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was really nice. We only stayed two nights, but I can see how doable it would be to stay for an extended time.

Not sure if this is a general problem, or one occasioned by the handicap room we were assigned, but the shower curtain wasn't long enough to reach the bottom, resulting in a pool of water each time we showered. I was initially skeptical about the mattress which seemed rather soft, but I slept fine, so I guess it's OK if non-standard for hotels. The pillows were tiny and there were only two for the two of us. The pet fee is very modest (we paid $10/night) and so that is a selling point if one has a dog. The overall cost is a good value. Despite our reservations, we would definitely return to this property if we need to be in the Lansing area.

The place is clean, but the walls are thin! Had a family staying in the room next to me and heard crying kids and running into the walls a lot and a heavy footed individual above me! The front desk has certain hours so it can be hard to see them in person if you work all day. The cable wasn’t great. There is no cookware unless you rent it and you can only do that if you’re on the first floor. Even with all that I would still stay again because of the rate and location.

The room was very nice. Big, full fridge. Stove top, although it didnt work. Microwave worked good. We loved the room. The lack of staff was disheartening. Check in after 5pm was horrible with the video check in. The video quality was absolutely ridiculous. Couldn't hear anything. Kept having to ask the person to repeat themselves, and he wasnt nice about it. That alone made us not want to do this place again

If you arrive after 5pm, like the vast majority of guests do, you will never see an employee of this hotel. The check-in is via "live kiosk". It took over 10 minutes to get someone on the kiosk, and once connected it repeatedly disconnected. It's a terrible "service" meant to save a buck by not employing a human and made the whole experience stressful.

We arrived at the hotel after hours, and the only way to check in was via an automated kiosk with a black screen and a tiny camera icon. We called the help desk twice and was rudely told someone would be with us shortly, then on the third time we called, they told us to simply hit the orange button on the screen. We explained again that the kiosk was not working. After waiting 35 minutes locked in a tiny entry way, after a long road trip and in desperate need of a restroom, someone finally came down and checked us in so we could get to our room.

I have to wait for 45 mins for my because they don’t have a worker so I have to use the Kios. But it’s broken so there is a guy trying for fix it for 45mins. I miss my work meeting and I can’t even use a bathroom

That was the worst experience I’ve ever seen in my life. This hotel is the most strange hotel I’ve ever seen. No body was in charge when I arrived. They left the hotel to customers and simply went home. In case if something happens no one was there. Doors were locked and I wasn’t able to get in. Next day when I came back they told me that they already gave the room to another person. Finally the front desk employee found a room for me but they didn’t refund me for previous day. I never saw an active hotel that close check in at 6:00pm. I will never come back to this hotel again.

Check in was so slow. No one is there live. I stood in a vestibule, sweating, for a half hour. When it was finally my turn, the remote clerk had other business to attend to, so i had to wait for about 10 more mintues to check in. The room itself was decent and clean.

This hotel is located right next to a major highway, so traffic noise is always noticable. The idea of a mostly kiosk managed hotel doesn't work well. At night and in the evening, when the front desk is closed, the overall feel of the surroundings, both inside and outside the hotel, project a feel of being less safe. Being an extended stay hotel, the clientele is definitely a different feel from a traditional stay hotel. The walls are thin so you clearly hear conversation around you while in your room. Despite the rooms being non smoking, very strong smells of cannabis emanate throughout the hotel, especially in the evenings. I would think the old addage, "When the cats away, the mice will play," is most fitting for this hotel. When the front desk closes at 5pm daily, all rules and regulations can easily be ignored and broken. I will say the front desk and housekeeping staff were both excellent overall. Both provided excellent customer service and both ladies were most helpful and sincere in their interactions. I'm sure this hotel is great for extended stay guests, who prefer a greater degree of freedom. For the standard hotel guest, who stays a night or two, I would suggest looking at the numerous other hotels available in the same localized area of this hotel.

It was a nice place, however be prepared for no amenities. No iron, no hairdryer, no utensils, no coffee maker... it's got a great little refrigerator, stove and microwave, but you gotta bring everything else. I ended up doing a quick run to Dollar Tree to get all of the essentials that I needed. It was clean and new, just wish it would have had a little more of the basics.

This hotel is probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. I have traveled a lot. The only thing I wish they had….is a coffee pot. Or coffee available in the lobby. Had to go to gas station to get coffee every morning. Just a little inconvenient.

There are no staff available after 5 PM. You have to check in through a kiosk with poor service if there’s room problems or problems within the room such as TV not working there are no staff available to help. No coffee in the room or in the hotel or breakfast.

Check in was fine. Fiund iut we were on 2nd and 4th floors and the elevator was not working. We both have handicaps so it was very difficult. No coffee or tea offered and no breakfast. No toiletries or hair dryer available in room. Had to ask for a hair dryer. No hand towels in room and 1 small bar of soap. Building is new and very nice just need to work on amenities for the price we paid. We paid 2 nights for what u offer for a week which i thought was ridiculous. Had to pay for incidentals which i dont know how they calculate but it was almost the full price of 1 night. We've bever paid over $50 for that fee. No attendant on duty from 9pm to 9am. Never been to a hotel that has no one at a desk.

Woodspring Suites East Lansing was clean and appeared to be well managed. The only item that caused a pain point for me was the lack of coffee in the lobby and no coffee machine in the room, and there is no McDonald's nearby to get coffee at, so I got coffee at the Mobil gas station on the other side of the highway. I recommend adding a self serve coffee machine to the lobby area. Thank you for requesting feedback.

For the most part this was a semi decent place it was clean it however did not have any breakfast not even coffee in the lobby or your room you could rent a coffee pot for more money on top of that they charged me almost the same in the room rental as the incidental's which it's been 3 days and i still don't have it returned i would not stay in this place unless i had no other choice

We needed a two day stay on short notice. The fact that we also needed a place that would take cats complicated things. The staff were super helpful and they had no problem accomadating us on short notice.
