Hotel room was okay. Hefty parking fee the staff failed to mention. The pool was one of the dirtiest I’ve ever been! Really sad breakfast.This was our first and last time staying at a Hyatt House.

I thought I understood from the website that the price quoted was for the complete cost including all taxes, fees, etc. I was shocked to find that I needed to pay an additional $14 PER NIGHT to park. I was unhappy because I was not planning on that. Everything ELSE was excellent.

Enjoyed the pool and gym at the facility. Nice Italian restaurant access through the same building. Breakfast was nice and rooms were big with a separate sitting and kitchen area. Enjoyed my stay there.

Overall nice, clean hotel. Easy to get to and walkable to/from local stores/campus or quick drive to other things. Breakfast was your usual items, so it wasn’t great, but it was nicely done. Room was clean, hotel was clean, parking lot was nice (but overnight parking coats $14 extra). Fitness center and pool seemed nice, but we didn’t utilize them. Water pressure was a little low in the shower, but shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (in large bottles) provided. Beds and pillows were comfortable and there was plenty of space in the room. I would stay here again.

This was a beautiful property, very clean and in good condition. The lobby was quite nice, and the breakfast had several choices. Our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Had a microwave and frige. I used the workout room that was spacious and plenty of equipment. The pool looked nice as well. Didn't go to the bar, but it looked inviting.

We have stayed several times at this hotel and it is by far our favorite for the Lansing area! The pool is warm, the staff are helpful and rooms have always been very clean, spacious and have a very comfortable bed.

This is out 2nd time staying at this location. Unfortunately our room was not cleaned well at all. The shower floor was covered in dirty footprints and hair. Housekeeping came to clean the floor and apologized but we went to take a shower we noticed that the walls and doors of the shower were also covered in hair. There was also a dirty black sock left in the room next to the bed that my 2 yr old granddaughter found and decided to play with which was absolutely disgusting.

The bathroom in room 357 had not been cleaned. I complained of this twice at the front desk. No one ever came to clean the room at all. I had to request and pick up my own towels. The basin of the shower floor had never been cleaned. It had someone's hair from shaving who knows what on the floor of the shower. After several request to clean it never happened.

Highly disappointed in shower, both of us had to take a cold shower, let it run for awhile and never got hot. Been to alot less nicer hotels that still have hot water in the morning.

Brand new hotel looks gorgeous throughout. Had a King + sofa kitchen suite and served us well although the sofa bed was just average. Kitchen was well stocked with mini fridge, induction plate, cookware. Tons of storage. Kitchen peninsula serves as a workdesk. Only problem was that the street noise is substantial on 3rd floor. Good hot breakfast buffet although I miss DIY waffles. They served waffles one day but somewhat mushy, and another day canadian bacon was completely overcooked and dried out. Cut fruit and berry compote was the highlight. Good scrambled and boiled eggs each day, sausage links were excellent, seating was generally sufficient. Interesting design with another hotel connected to this one sharing a bar.

Very nice setting, amazing restaurant, great staff, very good breakfast buffet, cute area with many walkable eating locations, conveniently located near the college. It was all amazing, but our water had very low and slow pressure. It was barely strong enough to shower and definitely not enough to wash our hair. The furnace heat was also loud. When it turned on it sounded like a passing train I the near distance. We used a sound machine and some Melatonin to counteract the disturbance.

Property was very modern and clean. Great space in the room. Walls are a bit thin. We stayed in a one bedroom kitchen suite and they had everything we needed for cooking. Induction cooktop that works with metal pots and pans that are included. Staff were very nice. There are about 20 parking spots outside that were free on weekends. We bought a parking permit for that Monday. I imagine they fill up on busier months. The hotel is connected to the AC marriott and the Toscana restaurant. There is a bar in the AC marriott. About a 20-30 minute walk to MSU campus.

Check in process was terrible! The front desk clerk thought he was an actor who called himself Jessie Jazz Hands 🙄 He was hugely irritating not to mention incompetent! He couldn’t figure out how to charge my credit card. At first I thought it was my card so I gave him a different one. Still no luck. After about 15 minutes something finally worked. Well come to find out he charged both of my credit cards! The next day I talked to the manager and she couldn’t figure out what Jessie Jazz Hands did. I cannot dispute the charge on my credit card because it still says “pending”! But it shows on my credit card balance as an amount I owe! So far I’m out the $635. It’s been a huge hassle trying to get this fixed. Also, there is a $20 a night charge for parking. I’m fine with a parking charge when there is a valet. We had to pay to park in a lot that was far away from the hotel which was very inconvenient! It was cold and rainy which made it worse. The hotel room was laid out strange. My parents were staying in the room with my husband and I. It was a suite. They slept on the sleeper sofa, we slept in the bedroom. The bathroom was connected to the bedroom so every time my parents had to use the bathroom, they had to walk through our bedroom. It was very awkward in the middle the night! I won’t ever use this hotel again and will definitely do more research before booking!

My room was canceled (not by me) and I was rebooked/moved to an “upgrade” at the adjoining AC hotel from the front desk desk staff from Hyatt house. Now that I look at everything… Hyatt house and AC hotel are not the same company. So all Hyatt house did was had us at the marriott because they had a room available. The upgrade was an actual degrade from our studio suite to a normal two bed room. Awful job Hyatt House! The front desk staff was nice but didn’t resolve anything. I am very disappointed in both properties. This inconvenienced our family in a huge way and was told that the manager would get a hold of us and it never happened. Our MSU children could no longer stay with us and we missed social events with our friends that we booked our Hyatt room with because we were trying to deal with the room downgrade and canceled room situation. When I tried to check in early at Hyatt house on Saturday they told me that my room wasn’t ready/available yet. I explained that we were going to the football game and asked if I could park. I was given a parking permit to put on my dash board. So I clearly had a reservation at 12pm what happened??

Hands down one of the best places we have stayed at!! Both receptionists where pleasant and very accommodating. We had a last minute change to our reservation and without hesitation they accommodated it. We will definitely be staying again when we come back down for the 4h state horse show again!!!

Our room and the actual hotel was very nice. The front desk staff could definitely use some lessons in hospitality though. They werent friendly and did not make us feel welcome. Also, our room had not been vacuumed, i called and told the front desk who put me on hold for 15 min then asked if I wanted it vacuumed now or tomorrow when we left. I said umm now would be great but no one ever came. He never apologized for having a dirty room, just acted like I was inconveniencing him. We love Hyatts but I would not stay here again due to the poor service at the front desk.

Great stay. Staff is top notch. Brandie was particularly accommodating, upgrading our room so we could stay close to our elderly parents in their accessible room. Breakfast buffet is a nice perk (liquid egg would be better than dehydrated if Hyatt really wanted to make an imprint on guests, but that is my only constructive comment). Will stay again.

Hyatt House E. Lansing is doing a very nice job maintaining a spotless property. Everything is tight here from cleanliness and serene environment to their customer service. Management apparently takes the effort to actually screen & train employees on etiquette. I’ve been here a few times since my son started at MSU and every visit the staff is friendly, welcoming, accommodating and they must enjoy working at this Hyatt…because they smile! This is my go to hotel now in E. Lansing.

This place is good if you are staying for 1-2 nights. We stayed there for more than two nights and rooms were not ready before our arrival, had to call housekeeping several time to get towels/lotion delivered. Housekeeping makes round every two days and if they show up and even you are about to leave I few minutes you will loose your window and your room will not be touched. You will see trash from room placed outside in the hallway Breakfast was also disappointing as they have same breakfast every day.. not any variation. So if you are staying for more than 2 days you will be eating same breakfast every morning.

We have stayed at this hotel a couple times now. Both times have been great. The rooms are clean and comfy. Lots to choose from for breakfast! We even had a chance to use the pool this time and that was very nice! No hot tub though.

The staff was very helpful and was prompt when i asked for some clean towels. The breakfast was also the best I've had the pleasure to enjoy. I have never had a free breakfast with a selection that was this amazing. Truly impressive

Very friendly, and helpful staff. Comfortable bed, and room. Great location, with a decent restaurant within walking distance. Breakfast was very good. It’s always a nice touch to be able to eat off regular plates and drink from coffee mugs, rather than paper plates and cups while traveling.

I booked 2 rooms here because the price seemed fair even though it was a little farther away from River Walk area where we were visiting. The mall across the street was handy (Tj Max, Krogers). Rooms were clean and beds and furniture were comfortable. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast buffet. I’d read other reviews and in my mind i thought “how can it be messed up?” Well, it was almost non-existent. We arrived just before 9am and there were no bananas, yogurt, some cereals were finished, no sausages/ham/bacon or pastries. Basically there were scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, some bagels & bread, oranges and some cereal. They didn’t seems to be replenishing anything either. Couldn’t find anyone working there to get help. We left. The lack of breakfast food is unacceptable.
