Newer hotel, so still nice and clean. Price is reasonable, especially on weekdays. Only real issue is parking - valet is the only real option at $35/day. Otherwise, staff is friendly and helpful and great location to shops, restaurants, and MSU.

I really like the location of this hotel, its walkable distance to restaurants and MSU campus. I also liked the rooftop bar/lounge area. My only complaint is the parking. Valet is a huge ripoff! 35 bucks to park! Or use the public parking ramp nearby ranging 12-20 dollars a night. That’s the only downfall to this property.

Very interesting decor, clean, friendly staff. Did not like: no ice machine (had to go downstairs to ask at the front desk), and no coffee available before 7 a.m. (except for the make your own in the room).

Lovely property in the heart of downtown East Lansing. Gorgeous and comfortable rooms. Wonderful rooftop bar. Favorite place to stay when enjoying a show at the Wharton Center on MSU campus.

Stayed for one night for a meeting on MSU's campus. Ideal location and a really nice hotel. The art work is great, rooms and bathroom are modern and clean. Only downside was a 50 minute wait for my car in the morning.

We had booked a 3 night stay. No one cleaned the room even once even though I asked multiple times. They only changed towels. We also had placed a cake in their kitchen fridge for one night that we got for an event. They damaged the cake. They were quite sorry and were going to give us credit.

This property is exceptionally cute- the decor is funky, cozy and unique. A downside to all of the fabric however, was the clear collection of dust on the headboard and chairs. The bathroom also could have used a deeper clean, including a refill of the products (shower gel was completely empty). The shower had great water pressure and the roof top bar a nice view. Overall a nice stay for the price. I would happily stay again.

There was dust caked on the top of every bed, dust on the lighting, and dirty surfaces. There was a pile of dirt/ dust in the corner of the bathroom that had no lock on it and toothpaste on the bathroom fixtures. We stayed at this hotel once before for a college visit, but will not stay a third time.

Location was great. We brought are small dog and there was a nice park close to the hotel. The room itself was pretty bad. It was a little worn, to be expected but the rug was vacuumed poorly and there was nail clippings on the bathroom floor and hair in the shower.

My room was perfect (or would have been perfect if it had had a small fridge for leftovers, breakfast, etc.). The view from the penthouse bar/restaurant (of the MSU campus) was lovely, but the food options are very limited. It's basically a nice bar with a few sandwiches. And the only other options around are geared toward college students (cheap fast food).

The hotel was wonderful. However our TV did not work, as soon as it was turned on the picture would disappear and “no signal” would appear on the screen. Even following the instructions on the screen would only result in the picture coming back for a minute or two. When relaying this to front desk personnel we were told that she would tell the manager. I think that for a hotel that is considered high end in East Lansing not to offer some recompense is awful especially consider we spent over $400.00 er night to stay there. As a Hilton Honors member I am totally disgusted.

We called prior to the football game asking if it was ok for a late check-in, for the game didn’t start until 7pm. We were assured it would be fine, that there would be staff at the front desk 24/7. Upon arrival, we were told that the shift, prior to the current, gave our 2 queen beds to someone else, switching us to 2 twin beds. We paid upfront for 4 adults. They apologized and said they thought we only had 2 adults and the prior shift reported that they were balanced. Assuming, everyone has a bed for the hotel. The staff on hand did manage to find us a room 10 minutes away and paid for it, but it completely ruined our plans and we were extremely disappointed.

The property was beautiful, the front desk staff and bar staff were fantastic. My problem, and it's a huge one, is that valet delivered my car upon my check out on a completely flat tire, 0 PSI. When we brought it to the valet attendants, he said he was sorry that he didn't even notice. Unfortunately, driving it on the rim like he did caused more damage, so we were 2 hours from home with a cracked rim and flat tire, on a Sunday. Getting home from our trip was a nightmare. Once we got the tire to where we could fill it up with air you could hear the air coming out at such a fast, loud rate there was no way this happened right before when we drove the car, we would have heard the air spewing out of the tire when we got out of the vehicle and handed it over to valet the night before. The valet driver must have hit a pot hole or a curb the night before when parking it and cracked the rim which is why it was at 0 PSI in the morning.

I arrived and was told that they did not have a room, even though they acknowledged my reservation made over a week prior. They told me to take a seat and then had security escort me out. I was stunned. I certainly was unhappy but absolutely was not elevated. I guess they deal with their overbookings by kicking people out.

We reserved a room and had a confirmation. We revised the stay removing 1 day and they cancelled the entire reservation. Suggested we stay at The Marriott nearby which was double the rate. Had to send my employee via uber to another hotel almost 2 miles away in the middle of the night.

No, I want room was not ready at 4 o’clock when we tried to check in. We ended up leaving the area and going to the meetings with scheduled. It was very inconvenient because they called an hour later that the room was ready and we had already left the parking garage and paid for our stay there. We ended up having to go back to the graduate Hotel, pay again at the parking garage, we were never offered anything for our inconvenience.

Cool vibe and excellent location across from MSU campus and in the main business district. Lots of dining, social and shopping choices. Really nice roof top lounge with a decent casual menu. Parking is convenient with valet service, but pricey considering a municipal lot is within walking distance.

Room amenities and essential functions relating to lights and functions are difficult to use. Can’t use lights in room without putting your key in a slot. Then bathroom shower light turned on and couldn’t get off all night. In room coffee dispenser is instant coffee that tastes horrible. High room rate does not include any breakfast which is almost a normal amenitybin this day and age. Would definitely not stay again.

We decided to treat ourselves to a stay over the July 4th weekend near our famliy in Lansing... I was really drawn by the location and amenities of the hotel. Unfortunately the in hotel coffee shop was closed on Saturday, July 4th, as well as the rooftop where we were hoping to relax after the day with family. I totally understand giving Team Members a break over the holiday with the local coffee shops, yet with the hotel industry being open daily, was hoping they'd offer more over this holiday weekend. Still do love the concept and design of the Graduate Hotels in general.

Great location and has a cool rooftop bar. It’s clean & quiet. Also has a good workout room. They say they serve breakfast, but it’s really just an espresso bar with packaged food.
