This is on the edge of the developed North side for that reason it's quite other than Friday nights when there's a club night at the roof. If you arrive Friday you'll hear it even blocks away but you would be so tired anyway it's ok. Rest of the time is quiet and lovely as it's not as much traffic. Super convenient wirh Selecto super market close by and a very nice bakery right across the street. Calle 38 was also by far the easiest to walk up and down between 5th and the local hub 30th for a real authentic experience. If you want do the beach club they are associated with Martina beach club so you don't have to pay for the chair. Only credits for drinks and food. The hotel also gives you beach towels if you want to just go to the beach. Which is super convienient with public access again on 38th. Just grab a towel and head down after 2 as there's large shade by the entrance left and you don't need to rent umbrella. Also at the entrance is an OXXO so you just need to buy a cooler bag to keep your drinks cold. Note about playa. At the ado station you'll pay about 150 peso for taxi. Or use the radio PDC app. But you'll have to go a block away and put in an address of where you are to get pick up as it isn't allow to pick up at the main roads. It's 75pesos instead to travel between ado station to this hotel. Over we like the hotel because it was quiet. It's a bit far if you want to be in the center of the action but we didn't care to do that much

Very clean and great location. Staff was superb and bed was comfy. we enjoyed afternoons in the pool before getting ready for dinner and a stroll on 5th. Negative- the generator needa to be vented. Fumes come up from the basement/parking garage. We wouod definitely stay here again!

Corner Suite was great overall! Some of the furniture looked dated simple changes(rugs and sofa cushions) would make this place really pop and make it more appealing! However the pool closes at 7 pm (really) just the perfect time to go to the pool. Found out later the pool closes to hotel guests so that they can rent out the pool and pool bar for events!

I've stayed at this wonderful hotel a few times now, and it never disappoints. The front desk staff is always amazing and incredibly helpful. The suites are clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited to our needs. One of the highlights is the rooftop pool—it’s absolutely lovely and offers stunning views of the city, including a partial view of the ocean. The location is also perfect—just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and shops, only a block away from 5th Avenue. Highly recommended!

Great location near shopping and restaurants. Roof top pool was fun and good pool bar. We arrived Friday where they had a roof top party from 8pm-1am which we didn’t go since we were exhausted but noise wasn’t bothering us. Only stayed for 1 night and it was a great experience.

Room was very clean and modern. However website indicate paper towels and water included and it had none, I had to travel to store to purchase it. Cushion was damaged from a previous pet (I assume it was a Cat or very pissed off dog). Very Pet friendly. Roof top pool just as well not exist because it wasn't staffed and no activity at all. It was "dead on the roof." Staff and hotel were very nice and good location. Breakfast food was tasty!

Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and at a great location, within walking distance to Quinta Avenida for restaurants and shops and walking distance to beach. The free breakfast was not excellent but good. The lobby is usually hot but the rooms nice, clean and cool.

Visiting with hotel for a third time. Just love it ! The staff is very caring, paying attention to every little detail! The rooms are modern and spotless! The location is great, and all stores and restaurants step away. 5 min walk to the beach. Highly recommended! Thanks to general manager Jorge de la Luz! Lovely Maria and all other people who made our stay enjoyable!

personnel très serviable et compétent, alondra est vraiment adorable ainsi que le personnel au restaurant pour le petit dejeuner. Cependant j'ai connu le serenity en 2020 et la qualité à l'intérieur des chambres était bien meilleure. Ici il y avait de la poussiere a certains endroit prouvant que la chambre n'avait pas été entretenu ou loué depuis un moment, une odeur bizzare sur le sofa, absence de savons por se laver les mains aussi bien dans la cuisine que dans la salle de bain, une trace de savons de couleurs rouge sous le lavabo témoignant d'un savon renversé et non nettoyé

LOCATION: We liked the location. It was close enough to everything but not right in the middle of the busy areas. ROOM: Stayed in the 2 bedroom suite on the 3rd floor. The walls are very thin and it is a bit loud. We could hear guests in other rooms very well. Almost, like they were in our room. Street noise is also loud too. Rooms were nice and the suite was big. Certain areas could gave been cleaner, like the shower, but not a huge deal. Rooms could be in better condition but for the price we paid we were happy. Pool: Nice and relaxing.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful from the moment I arrived. The room was not clean—there were visible stains on the furniture, and it looked like it hadn’t been properly sanitized. Housekeeping never came to clean the room during my stay, and when I asked for extra towels, I was given a hard time as if it were a huge inconvenience. To make matters worse, they charged me extra at check-in even though I had already paid for my entire stay in advance. The parking garage was a nightmare—small, poorly lit, and difficult to navigate. On top of that, there was loud music playing all night, making it impossible to get any rest. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid this place at all costs!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Serenity hotel, the room was very clean and quiet, very spacious and comfortable, the food in the restaurant, delicious breakfasts and the staff were very friendly, Antonio is very helpful and courteous, Lupita the receptionist is very friendly. excellent prices, I highly recommend this Hotel.

Everything was amazing about my stay except the shower as the water never got hot so I actually was taking chilly showers No matter if I took one during the day or in the evening, the water never warmed up . The breakfast every morning was fantastic and the entire stay was comfortable and location was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!!!

NO ALCOHOL at this hotel! That is not mentioned anywhere on their website or in the booking. After a long day of travel, all I wanted was a cold Sol.. iykyk Ac in rooms smelled like mold for the first 15 minutes it was on which was really disgusting No ac throughout hotel common areas, hallways lobby etc but whatever .. All the rooms are on the interior of the building overlooking the lobby. Enjoy the offensive noise ALL NIGHT LONG of slamming doors and people. My first set of bed sheets were dirty and stained so luckily got another set. The furniture in the room including kitchen table was disgusting and stained. Shower and bathroom was decent, spacious etc Got bath robes which was a huge bonus , no slippers even though it says they have them . No decaf coffee. Only 1 bottle of water per person for the entire trip . Even though the website says complimentary water.

Pros: Location was convenient to Fifth Ave with tons of dining and shopping options. Short walk to the beach. Modern decor. Clean rooms. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Cons: Mexik Restaurant food was just okay — no alcohol. Very limited options for complimentary breakfast. Barbelo Roof Club was nonexistent. Spent 2 hours at the pool during club/snack hours and never saw a staff member or guest —- bar was completely empty. View not so appealing …old rundown buildings. No hot water in the shower and TV in the bedroom had no signal.

I liked that the property was somewhat away from the noisy tourist areas but close enough to easily walk to the tourist areas when we wanted to. The beach was a short walk away as were several restaurants. A grocery store was a short walk (two blocks) away also. The room was very nice. The only drawback was that soundproofing between rooms was non existent. Our neighbours were quiet for the most part thank goodness but there were occasions when things got too noisy and patience was required.

The pool bar was generally unstaffed, no idea if there was food available up there as well. The restaurant staff completely ignored us when we walked in, so we left. When we checked in, I was told breakfast was not included with our stay (even tho I had purchased a stay with breakfast) and I was urged to pay separately for that, I declined and then was told that ‘they forgot, and breakfast was included’. This property has lots of potential but the staff seem unhappy to be there and the attempt to scam upon check in was disheartening.

The hotel was very calm and quiet which was great. The location was perfect, felt like 75 restaurants and shops were within a 5-10 mins walk of the hotel. The beach was also a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Loved the floorplan of the suite. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only negative we had was that we booked roundtrip airport transportation through the hotel (VM travel services), which arrival was great but they completely forgot to pick us up for departure which caused us to have to rush and pay for a taxi back to the airport. The front desk staff was very helpful considering the situation but the mix-up was very inconvenient.

I've stayed at this wonderful hotel a few times now, and it never disappoints. The front desk staff is always amazing and incredibly helpful. The suites are clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited to our needs. One of the highlights is the rooftop pool—it’s absolutely lovely and offers stunning views of the city, including a partial view of the ocean. The location is also perfect—just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and shops, only a block away from 5th Avenue. Highly recommended!

I didn't receive any "vip benefit" at all... Not a welcom, they denied me an upgrade cause the room available was "too fancy". I didn't been welcom properly at all, no welcome amenities at all. So basically no "vip Access". So disappointed.

Three times i stayed here and never been offered the room upgrade. Asked for it and always excuses. Even lying on occupancy in order to don't give a room upgrade. If they don't want to give vip gold benefits, than they shouldn't be in vip access.

It’s hard to review this hotel because it has pros and cons. The pros are it’s a great value - a modern roomy suite with separate living room, balcony, kitchenette, comfy bed in a spacious bedroom, daily housekeeping. Most staff was friendly. However, one staffer charged us $90 pesos for getting makeup spots on towels and a pillow case. She called me to the front desk to tell me this mid-week like being called into the principal’s office. I thought it over and signed her little form for $90 MX and took great care thereafter to not leave any spots on the towels. Then, after checking out and paying in full at the front desk last night before checking out this morning, the same staffer came out on the front steps and asked me to come back inside to pay for 2 bottles of water and 2 soft drinks. I told her we were paid in full, that we paid last night for two bottles of water and that we never drank any of their soft drinks at all. She argued with me about it! (1) we were paid in full with receipts (2) it was so petty (3) she openly doubted me over 2 water bottles & two soft drinks (4) a bummer sendoff after 7 nights. It was very strange behavior. This hotel is not the Four Seasons, but it is a nice place to stay in town for the equation of quality divided by price equals value. There is a small rooftop pool. For the beach we paid to go to nearby beach clubs. Club Martina was our favorite. Be aware you Csnyon but Day Passes to many of the All-inclusives if you wish.

This is on the edge of the developed North side for that reason it's quite other than Friday nights when there's a club night at the roof. If you arrive Friday you'll hear it even blocks away but you would be so tired anyway it's ok. Rest of the time is quiet and lovely as it's not as much traffic. Super convenient wirh Selecto super market close by and a very nice bakery right across the street. Calle 38 was also by far the easiest to walk up and down between 5th and the local hub 30th for a real authentic experience. If you want do the beach club they are associated with Martina beach club so you don't have to pay for the chair. Only credits for drinks and food. The hotel also gives you beach towels if you want to just go to the beach. Which is super convienient with public access again on 38th. Just grab a towel and head down after 2 as there's large shade by the entrance left and you don't need to rent umbrella. Also at the entrance is an OXXO so you just need to buy a cooler bag to keep your drinks cold. Note about playa. At the ado station you'll pay about 150 peso for taxi. Or use the radio PDC app. But you'll have to go a block away and put in an address of where you are to get pick up as it isn't allow to pick up at the main roads. It's 75pesos instead to travel between ado station to this hotel. Over we like the hotel because it was quiet. It's a bit far if you want to be in the center of the action but we didn't care to do that much

Lo unico que encontre extrano en el restaurante de el hotel es que al haber reservado con desayuno incluido solo te dan una rebanada de pan en lugar de dos y eso me extrano muchisimo ya que viajo constantemente y nunca me habian racionado las rebanadas de pan. Igual que tampoco me habian cobrado adicional por incluirle jamon y queso al revoltillo de huevo que pedi diariamente. Puedo entender que me cobren el chocolate caliente aparte ya que solo ofrecen te y cafe que por cierto el cafe es malisimo pero lo demas me sorprendio.

The hotel was exactly as advertised. The balcony, kitchen and rooms were modestly sized, but worked well for the two of us. Two televisions with popular streaming services kept us entertained on rainy days. The rooftop pool area was a nice feature that we used every day. The complimentary breakfast with friendly service from Charles was a perfect start to the day. The location was very convenient. It was close enough to the beach and only one block from 5th Ave. Many restaurants were close by, as well as a very large grocery store. It wouldn’t be considered quiet, but the noise was reasonable and to be expected, given the proximity to everything. There was a Salsa Night on Friday that guests were invited to, although it seemed to be open to the public. The fairly loud music lasted until 1:30, so that is something to consider if it might be an issue. Overall, we found it to be a very enjoyable place to stay and would recommend it. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The property itself is good, good location just one block behind the 5th Ave, has a lot of eateries, restaurants, a 24 hours convenient store just on the corner, beaches are just 5-8 mins walk. Room is spacious and clean, however the water pressure a bit of low.Hard to get a good shower but that just me. Breakfast was…rather painful, service was very slow, most of time we were the only one there but it took forever to get attention. We actually have to clean our own table in order to have a clean place to sit down. Coffee/tea taste awful,and some food were cold, we had to send them back few times. Overall this stay was ok, hotel itself has potential to be better, but I think a good training on the staff won’t hurt.

Cons: Mexik Restaurant food was just okay — no alcohol. Very limited options for complimentary breakfast. Barbelo Roof Club was nonexistent. Spent 2 hours at the pool during club/snack hours and never saw a staff member or guest —- bar was completely empty. View not so appealing …old rundown buildings. Cons: Mexik Restaurant food was just okay — no alcohol. Very limited options for complimentary breakfast. Barbelo Roof Club was nonexistent. Spent 2 hours at the pool during club/snack hours and never saw a staff member or guest —- bar was completely empty. View not so appealing …old rundown buildings. No hot water in the shower and TV in the bedroom had no signal.
