I have stayed here many times before but t)8/ time the service was lacking and the hotel felt dated. I had to change the room they initially gave me as it stunk of ver string fumes. No one answers the phone at reception when you call down from the room- they take ages. Housekeeping take very long to bring something and when they finally do it’s wrong. The changing rooms in the spa were soaked with water in the floor and half the lockers not working. They removed the reformer in the gym which was a shame. And one of the bikes and a treadmill was not working. Overall disappointed with my stay this time.

I love the Londoner hotel unfortunately on my last 2 visits the hotel has had works being done in the pool, I received sales emails all week but no mention of the pool shutting. I only come to chill out living not far away it’s a nice treat and without the pool and spa it’s an expensive stay out.

Second time at this lovely hotel and will be our home from home for future stays in London. Staff are super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food and drinks are great - the residence is a fantastic perk for paying hotel guests. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the spa/ pool is a great spot to unwind and recharge the batteries. Location is perfect with Covent Garden one way and Piccadilly/ lovely parks in the other direction. Can’t fault this hotel

What I didn’t like were the following: I arrived to check in just after 3pm to be told that my room wasn’t ready so I had to wait an hour in the lobby, although they did give me a drink while I waited. When I got into the room I noticed the carpet was quite dirty, with bits of things in several areas indicating it had not been vacuumed. I was very dismayed when having a drink with a friend in the Lobby Bar where they had no “nibbles” To go with our drinks. They only had almonds served in a small bowl for which they charged £4! I was amazed at this charge as most hotels and bars provide a few crisps, or nuts, or the like as part of their service. In addition to this they charged an extra £4 as their “Service Charge”. They didn’t have any Prosecco which is what we wanted! They only served champagne and as we didn’t want that expense we opted instead for a gin and tonic each costing £16! The whole bill including a Gratuity which I felt obliged to add, for those two drinks plus a few almonds came to £51!! I couldn’t believe it. We thought the appearance of the tables in the lobby bar was spoiled by the vase on each one holding a single flower made of paper, very cheap looking and quite unattractive. At those prices I thought they could surely afford a real flower to put on each table. I complained at Reception when checking out after the two days visit, after which the very nice Receptionist deducted the bar bill from my invoice, which I much appreciated.

This is a lovely, clean, modern hotel right on Leicester Square. I have stayed here individually (it is a perfect hotel for adults traveling without children), and the location is excellent. Despite being on Leicester Square, I found the rooms very quiet with thick walls and the hotel is one of the most conveniently located for walking to Regent Street, Covent Garden, Soho, Trafalgar Square, Picadilly, etc. One drawback is there is no carpark/entrance for vehicles so you have to be dropped off or picked up on the side street if you travel by car/van. The tube is a block away for getting around London and Ubers/taxis easily find you on the side street. There are countless shops, restaurants, theaters (live and movies) and other London sights within a short walk or minimal transit time. When I stayed with my family, including young children, it was a bit less ideal just because the rooms are small and young families may need more space for kids to spread out, play, give each other space, etc. However, we did see several other families with young kids and the hotel has a pool on the lower floor, which is a nice and unusual amenity for this part of London. Overall I like the hotel a lot and would happily stay there for adult trips anytime.

The staff at The Londoner went above and beyond in every aspect. I had to rush home as my mum in the USA became gravely ill and I needed to get home as quickly as possible. The staff on duty on the late night/overnight shift on February 10-11, 2025 took care of me and comforted me more than I would have ever expected from any staff at a hotel. I am so glad I chose the Londoner and I will be back to stay again very soon. The hotel itself was gorgeous, clean, and so comfortable. Bed, pillows, sheets, and water pressure were perfect. It is incredibly quiet too!

An excellent Hotel. The staff was very kind, the property immaculate, and the location was perfect. The only dowside is that the walls are pretty thin. I heard everything going on above me. Other than that, you get what you pay for here (yeah, it's not cheap), then again, nothing in London is.

Best hotel we have stayed in London by far. When we arrived in our room there was some rubbish left on the floor and spots on the floor, but not enough to complain about, as the rest was beautiful. We are in the restaurant and had an amazing meal highly recommend it. We will definitely be back to stay. The poshest slippers we have ever had too! The swimming pool area was extremely relaxing.

Great location. The air con in the room and temperature control is good. The rest is questionable. The toilet is electric so constantly making noise, the tv had to be reset, which required a visit from maintenance, the lighting system only worked from near the door of the room so had to get up if I wanted to turn the lights on or off. They add a 10% service charge to the bill at the end if you want it off the bill you have to see it and tell them that. For the prices they charge you would want the electric systems to work well. But, they didn't.

Great location. Rooms are extremely small. You can barely move around. Bathroom sink area was very small and there was not plug for the hair drier. There was no small face towel. The TV system was very old style and difficult to navigate. I would not recommend this hotel. This hotel is too expensive for the room offered.

I stayed in the corner junior suite. One of my windows faced the windows of an office building in the too close proximity for my comfort. The other window looked at the construction side. There are lots of small stores offering vaping, e-sigarets smoking around the hotel. And the door of my bathroom was broken and wouldn’t close.

Is very nice room. no water pressure in the shower end up using the bath to shower. Toilet had a mind of its own literally every 5 min it would activate. I asked the front desk multiple times for assitance. Just gave up. I will not be staying again….

Amazing hotel! Everything was spectacular. Check out the basement pool - so cool to be that warm and swimming in central London. The staff were super knowledgeable and nothing was too much. The room technology is just right - not too much. The blackout curtains do their job, and you can’t hear the hustle n bustle of busy central London through the solid windows. Great when you’re jet lagged! Will definitely use The Londoner as my London base from now on!

This was a last minute booking (booked it the night before I went to the hotel) for a celebration. Good thing I went to the hotel early because I found out I do not have a reservation with them. Apparently Hotels.Uk did not forward to the hotel my confirmation booking. The Londoner had to do a manual booking which is fine (almost 2 hours waiting this time). I am still patient that time and was told the room is not yet ready which I said is okay and did not expect it will take me another hour before I can fully check in. So total of 3 hours waiting made me really upset and stressed. We almost declined the reservation but gave it a chance since we came to the hotel for our celebration. Our stay was not the most comforting I would say. Something special became unspecial because the whole process of getting checked in and getting a room ruined it. Only if the hotel was expecting us I think will somehow prevent this catastrophy. The pool was crowded too and not too big as per the picture. Buffet breakfast is grand but not too appetizing for me. The bed is great but not the main highlight for me. I do not think I'll come back to this hotel. The only good side here is that it is located in Leicester square.

Beautiful hotel, great location, amazing service!! We especially appreciated the congierge Tom. He did a lot for us and was do proficient and fun to work with!! My teenager even liked him and she hates everyone, lol. Doorman Kieran was also very helpful, professional, and you could tell he really cared about the hotel guests.

Beautiful property but it was so busy that even though the staff tried to provide great service it just wasn’t a good experience. We couldn’t check in until after 5pm because the room wasn’t ready and the lobby was soooo busy. We had to line up and wait outside for breakfast cause the restaurant was too full and the servers were getting people’s orders wrong cuz it was so hectic. Not what I expect from a luxury hotel especially at the price we paid

The Londoner is a great modern hotel in the middle of Leicester Square. Everyone on the staff was amazing and the location is central to anything you want to do in London (Tube access was easy). Despite being a busy area, we never had any issues with noise whatsoever. My only suggestion is to put a brighter light in the bathrooms for shaving and doing make up.

A great hotel in general, however, the bar was VERY Champagne based and when you can´t drink Champagne its somewhat disappointing. Example, there was one flower beer from Germany (at least 2 normal beer should be availeble) no cocktail card - although the waiter said they could do .....
