Kitchen had barely any prep counter; no dining table & seating in kitchen.

Nestled in the forest it is walking distance to the lake and some local restaurants. Overall great place to stay. Big room with great amenities, very clean, and would stay here again. My kids loved it and we were pretty central to everything.

タオルも十分な量があり、自宅で生活するのと同じくらいの設備が整っています。 浴室乾燥の出力が少ないのが気になりましたが、ほ他は全て満足です！ 洗濯洗剤やハンガーや、タオル掛けもあるのが嬉しかったです！

コンビニ等がないので不便ではありますが、施設は綺麗で揃っているのでとてもよかったです！ ただ、加湿機があるとより最高でした！

廚房流理台有點小，不好料理，但一般的煮泡麵、烤肉是可以的

とても広くて綺麗でプロジェクターもあって良かった。 鍵を開ける時にボタンの接触が悪く、なかなか鍵が開かずに戸惑った。10回目くらいでやっと開いた。

Overall good stay. The two separate toilet rooms were super helpful for our group of 4 adults and 1 child. The two bed sleeping area was cramped and lots of stair usage to go up and down from the top floor (not much space to leave bags downstairs). The loft was fun to sleep in though ladder was quite steep to get up. Good kitchen amenities available but could’ve used a regular eating table or at least more chairs to sit in around the coffee table (just one small sofa). Appreciated the drying rack to wash clothes. Laundry was very convenient. Great full bathroom with large tub and separate sink area. Easy parking area and nearby restaurant was open late and was delicious. The key code stopped working randomly and while management replied very quickly to my email, they couldn’t do much. Thankfully a cleaner was working on another's room and gave us the backup key, which saved us wasting more time struggling to lock the door. The last night (Saturday) the next door rental guests were super loud and annoying making it hard to sleep. But otherwise was very quiet and tranquil area.

This was an amazing stay! Great for groups. Flip side is that if you don't drive well be careful when parking. The parking lot is on a steep slope. Otherwise great place to relax and bond with family and friends!

Die Unterkunft war nahezu perfekt. Ein großes Zimmer mit 2 Doppelbetten, Küche mit Waschmaschine (prima, wenn man als Rucksacktourist unterwegs ist), Reiskocher, Töpfen, Pfanne, viel Geschirr, großer Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle. Großes Bad und extra Dusche & Badewanne. Extra Toilette im separaten Raum. Einziges Manko: im ganzen Ort gibt es keinen Laden für Lebensmittel und die Restaurants haben alle an den gleichen Tagen geschlossen. Der Pretzi-Markt ist kein Laden und es gibt nur Cracker und Kuchen. Kleine Verbesserungs-Details: - auf der Terrasse ein Haken für den Wäsche-Trockner zum Aufhängen. - einen Habdtuchhaken in der Toilette. - die Mülleimer nicht neben dem Bett - vielleicht besser im Vorraum - die Pfanne ist verbogen (Haus E)

Tolles Apartment. Alles sehr sauber. Tolle Aufteilung der Räume Schlafzimmer unten. Wohnzimmer und Lüche eine Etage hlhet.

Great place to stay and to explore hakone! Big space and clean made the trip comfortable even though there were storm in the area.

Guests on 2nd floor were noisy, one bed sheet is slighty dirty. Room is big and comfy.

Great quiet place nestled in the woods. the villa is reasonably clean but unfortunately, we found some food in the fridge, which was presumably left behind by the previous occupants. This made us wonder if the housekeeping was done properly. Nevertheless, we will consider coming back to stay again.

一泊でしたが、快適に過ごせました。 室内は清潔な感じでした。他が綺麗だった分、お風呂場の床の汚れが気になりました。 食器なども揃っていて便利でした。 近くにコンビニ等の買い物ができる所がなさそうなので、事前に買い物は済ませておいたほうが良さそうです!

室内は清潔で家電なども充実しており、とても満足にゆっくりと過ごすことが出来ました。 また利用させていただきたいです！

Great and spacious apartment, very well located. Fair price. We couldn’t stay longer because it was completely booked. Our unit was in the upper floor with a steep flight of stairs to get in - not a problem for us but just mentioning for people with mobility issues. On the other hand we had a beautiful view on a tree with fall colors from the living room!

A wonderful place to stay all around. Near the shores of Lake Ashi, walking distance to cable car, lake cruises, bus station, restaurants etc. Really enjoyed our stay in this 3 level spacious apartment.

キレイで良かったです。ただ、ロフトのはしごは結構急勾配なので、小さい子どもは気をつけた方がいいでしょう

The property and the rooms are lovely. The location is pretty and very quiet. There is, unfortunately, almost nothing there. No stores and few restaurants (with bizarre limited hours of operation). During the middle of the day it is no problem as the pirate ship dock and the gondola are right there (and a gift shop, and a restaurant for breakfast and lunch- not open for supper sadly). Evenings are a nightmare if you don’t have food with you and you did not come by car. Heads up: the beds are comfortable but the futons in the loft are like sleeping on the floor… Fine for skinny people and kids. If you’re an adult and if you’re more plus-sizes, you will be in pain. Stick with the beds. We would ABSOLUTELY stay there again. We enjoyed our stay. We would stay more days next time and explore Gora (over the mountain via gondola and down the funicular) and some other areas. And we would come prepared with food! Travel Tip for swimmers: you are not allowed to swim in the lake. Apparently the Japanese think it is too cold. (They need to meet more Vikings and Canadians… We love a cold plunge!)

When we arrived at the property we tried to close the blockout blind and found that it was broken. I tried to phone the property, as there is no on site management and the phone number did not work. I then messaged them via Expedia and received an answer some time later. At first they told me to try the chord, but I advised that I had already done that. They then advised that they knew it was broken and they had ordered a new blind but it had not been supplied yet. They had known about the problem but had done nothing to give us the option to cancel or change accommodation. We had to sleep in a room that was like sleeping in daylight because of the outside lights all night. The lack of the heavier curtain also allowed the constant road noise to come in. The next day they came and dropped the heavy curtain permanently. Yes it would be dark in the room at night but throughout the day we couldn\'t even see outside. Given that there are so many rules given to you by the property management, they should respect the basic rules of hospitality, "Keep the guest happy". Problems with the property: The walls and ceilings are paper thin. You can hear everything the people in other rooms are saying, every footstep and every toilet flush. The property is located directly on the main road through the area and the cars kept going all night. There is no onsite management if anything goes wrong The way that our problem was handled was super bad. The only good thing was the walkability

We had a spacious room, once we found the place. The map app on my phone had us going through another hotel. But once we figured it out it was all good.

We were a family with young children and stayed at Villa B, which was a standalone 3-floor loft-style apartment. It worked really well for us - bedroom with 2 queen-sized beds and ensuite bathroom (including bathtub, washing machine and heater for clothes drying). The second "storey" was a small but well-equipped kitchenette, with a seating area. On the third "storey" was a loft with two sets of futons available. Villa A is closest to the road so we did hear the occasional vehicle passing by but otherwise the area is pretty quiet. The walls/floors are thin so if you do stay in Villas E, G and I, you probably would be subjected to your upstairs neighbours' noise.

What a beautiful place to stay! I booked two villas and there was so much space in both the loft and the western style. The area has good public transit to an extent. Easy to get to and from Odawara station by bus. We missed the last local bus twice and had to trek back from the other side of the lake after dinner so be aware of the early schedule. I’m Gluten free so food options are limited here. Having a little kitchen was a lifesaver! The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again or recommend to friends.

Great location, attentive guest support and lots of space!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Hakone Stage. The Villa itself is quite spacious (we had a family of three staying) - a welcome change from the cramped living conditions in Tokyo. The villa was clean and very comfortable. The location is right next to both the "pirate" ship port and the ropeway to the top of Owakudani. We arrived via the Romance Car and Hakone Tozan Train from Shinjuku and then caught the Cable Car and Ropeway to the villa (it is a short walk from the Ropeway station). The host was also very quick to answer any questions we had.

とても綺麗で、テレビでNetflixが見られてとても有意義な時間を過ごせるます。近くにコンビニがないために、食料は事前に買っていく必要があるが、自販機はあるので飲み物の心配ないです。 入るパスワードを忘れてしまい、メールを送ったところすぐに返信がきてとても助かりました。

The air con break down causing the room to be either too stuffy or needed to open the window making the room to cold. Requested to change room but was rejected. No refund or discount was given and the customer service is terrible. Worst experiences!

Being in a quiet environment surrounded by nature

Plenty of space. Relatively new. Local area Came by public transport, 3 adults two kids. Bus stop out the front (caught one bus from Odawara station). Left via bus one stop down. Near by (few minute walk) to sightseeing cruise and ropeway

All condition of room is good, and also larger than what i expected. the only bad is the location, you will difficult to find convenient shop or restaurant if after 6 pm, may need to go other place by own transport

Absolutely loved our time at Villa Hakone Stage. We used this place as a base for exploring Mt. Fuji and Hakone area, and we loved this apartment and the location. It is a very modern property with all the amenities and just walking distance from Hakone Ropeway. Given the location, it will be easier for you to access this property if you travel in your own vehicle (rather than relying on public transportation).

The place is basically good, but the area is a bit far from downtown and no convenience store nearby. Restaurants around the villa also close early.

Bus transport with luggages was not fun. Lot of complaining about noice levels. Very limited dining.

This is a great place to stay with families, close to lake ashi, and hakone ropeway. Very few dining options at night as it is a very small village

This is a gateway from the world where you can relax in comfort. Hiking trails in the area are beautiful, and the walk near the Lake Ashi is nice. The restaurants in the neighborhood keep inconsistent hours but this may have been due to the holiday. You must travel to the other side of the lake to access markets and groceries, but transportation is convenient in the morning and afternoon not at night.
