Extremely convenient for the North Circular and end of the M1/A1. Very cheap for London hotel prices (£50 for a single room with en-suite). The shower was broken and I could not turn the temperature control on the hand-held shower so the water was scalding. The proprietor came to see to it as soon as I reported it and managed to get a useful temperature. Still not the best having a shower with just the hand-held head. The room was at the back of the building next to the laundry and the walls were very thin. There was an unfortunate odour from the bathroom - a mix of damp and urine - which was unpleasant. Plenty towels, tea/coffee sachets and toiletries provided and the sheets were very clean. Car parking available which is a boon. No plug socket near the kettle but an extension provided which was OK for me on my own. All told, some good, some room for improvement.

The property is as I would expect for the price, nothing special but the rooms are clean and the mattresses are comfortable to sleep on. Happy with accommodation for the price. The parking is cramped and I took the last available space, which is limited. I chose this hotel on the strength of having free parking but it looks like it can’t be guaranteed as there are only about 4/5 spots and maybe 15-20 rooms. Stay was good and affordable . But condition was ok. Staff was very friendly. Parking was available but it was bit hard given the narrow spaces. Rooms and toilets were clean but needs little bit of maintenance

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Ant infestation in the bathroom, dust, cobwebs, stains and even dead insects on the walls. Walls so thin you can hear everything from the next room and outside. The chairs in the room were literally held together with tape on the legs, clearly not very safe for use, and even the floorboards were coming off. Unstable and uneven everywhere in the room. The beds were uncomfortable, the overall smell of the room and bathroom were questionable at best. The gall to refuse to give refunds for such poor quality and service is beyond belief. We ended up booking a last minute hotel elsewhere and checked out within a few hours of even being there. Genuinely disgusting, and the owner didn't seem to care at all about how bad his rooms are. Reporting to local council, because there's no way these rooms are in any way safe to allow anybody to stay in. 0/10, not worth even looking at

The room was small, as expected which wasn't an issue. The bathroom and around the bed was dirty and the shower door was completely broken off. I was appalled by the knock on my door at 00:05 by reception asking to look for something in my room which I obviously didn't allow as this is a really creepy request at this time of night. When I asked why this happened, in the morning the receptionist didn't seem to care or think it was unacceptable behaviour

You get what you pay for. Yes, you will get a spacious spartan room with a private shower in a quiet neighbourhood. There are shops nearby, and the hotel is walking distance to a transport hub with direct access to London city centre and Stansted Airport. Unfortunately, there might be no cleaning or partial cleaning, the wifi may not be working, and do not expect hot water 24 hours a day. Often there is lukewarm water just enough to take a shower in summer. There is sometimes very large noise, especially in the evening. Will I stay again? Probably yes if the price is cheap enough. But I do not expect everything to be all right.

The room was very basic, literally 2 beds, a small tv on the wall that didn’t work, a kettle and a chair. Very dusty and it had dirty towels left under one of the beds. It had beside table that had a broken door, there was a huge hole in the wall and the tap on the sink in the bathroom was coming off. The beds were very flimsy as well.

Owner was friendly and responded to calls. Signage is poor. Address is incorrect on Expedia. It is 175 not 199. It is not really a hotel. It is a large house sectioned into 16 rooms. My room on top floor had a separate bathroom with black mold all over the ceiling and i hit my head walking to the toilet the eaves are so low.

Sheets and towels were clean but there was no evidence the room had actually been cleaned. The shower was dirty, side of toilet, dirty. Toilet cistern sounds like a wave machine & the fridge hums all night. Pillows lumpy & single beds are very small. Staff very friendly but cleanliness really needs addressed.

I honestly cannot put into words the disgrace of this hotel, I made a complaint and sent the images to trading standards its the worst I have ever seen Dirty, absolutely trashed, smelly and those are just a few words to describe the state of the place

The rooms are tiny. The wardobe door was falling off the hinges, no hangers. On suite shower was small and the sink was tiny. Room decor was not good. Staff were fine. We only stayed one night, thank God. The only plus was the 83 bus to Wembley park was right outside on the street.

Bathroom smelled like backed up sewage. There were times where we'd come back after a long day, and the toilet would look like sewage water. The same would happen overnight. Broken closet door. Broken shower door with a drain that backs up when showering -- almost leaked onto the floor. Also, staying on the first floor, we had a window that opened directly to the street that anyone can definitely climb into. We had to keep it open at least slightly overnight because there was no AC to cool down the room (it got relatively warm). Did not feel safe -- also noisy.

Not the greatest condition, with a tiny shower room, not the best plumbing, but a perfectly adequate bed, in a very convenient location, and the price was incredibly cheap, so for what I paid I was expecting an absolute wreck of a place, but that wasn't the case at all!

This was a place to sleep and store our stuff, and that’s about it.. the room was very hot and in order to cool down we had to leave the bedroom door and windows open. Windows open would have been okay if there weren’t flood lights that turned on all through the night as people walked by. Said people were also right outside the room, being loud until 3-4am most nights. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful (specifically Allan), but others were not. One good thing about this hotel is location - there is a bus stop right outside and several shops within a 10 minute walk.

Plus points were free parking and friendly staff. Down points of single room was a separate bathroom which was private but not mentioned in hotel details it was not in same room. That was inconvenient during the night. Also, skylight window had no curtain so too bright when sun up early. Also no bedside light so had to get out of bed to turn main light off.

This Hotel does the job for a fairly decent price. No thrills included and could be cleaner, some issues with the shower too. But the staff were helpful and quick to help with any issues.

Reserved a room on the Expedia website which stated two double beds. Upon arrival told that we only have a room with one double bed and that we would be charged extra to change to the correct room. Receptionist was rude throughout the interaction and would not help to rectify this issue. I would like to give a Zero for Staff & Service for this interaction, however this is not possible. We have been staying with this hotel for a few months now and 'Mary' has always been accommodating, shame to lose a customer over an interaction like this.
Reserved a room on the Expedia website which stated two double beds. Upon arrival told that we only have a room with one double bed and that we would be charged extra to change to the correct room. Receptionist was rude throughout the interaction and would not help to rectify this issue. I would like to give a Zero for Staff & Service for this interaction, however this is not possible. We have been staying with this hotel for a few months now and 'Mary' has always been accommodating, shame to lose a customer over an interaction like this.

This was a place to sleep and store our stuff, and that’s about it.. the room was very hot and in order to cool down we had to leave the bedroom door and windows open. Windows open would have been okay if there weren’t flood lights that turned on all through the night as people walked by. Extremely convenient for the North Circular and end of the M1/A1. Very cheap for London hotel prices (£50 for a single room with en-suite). The shower was broken and I could not turn the temperature control on the hand-held shower so the water was scalding. The proprietor came to see to it as soon as I reported it and managed to get a useful temperature. Still not the best having a shower with just the hand-held head. The room was at the back of the building next to the laundry and the walls were very thin. There was an unfortunate odour from the bathroom - a mix of damp and urine - which was unpleasant. Plenty towels, tea/coffee sachets and toiletries provided and the sheets were very clean. Car parking available which is a boon. No plug socket near the kettle but an extension provided which was OK for me on my own. All told, some good, some room for improvement.

The hotel was selected for location and what looked like very comfortable rooms. The location was good and not far from Golders Green Tube. The room’s however were smaller than expected and very tired looking. The room was hot and needed the windows open. It was not noisy from road noise but we were woken by employees urging outside of our window at gone midnight. One electric socket was half off the wall and not what we expect from a family room with children in. The room was clean but the staff must have a massive task when the decoration is so bad. The wardrobe did not have any hangers or even a rail to hange them on.

Owner was friendly and responded to calls. Signage is poor. Address is incorrect on Expedia. It is 175 not 199. It is not really a hotel. It is a large house sectioned into 16 rooms. My room on top floor had a separate bathroom with black mold all over the ceiling and i hit my head walking to the toilet the eaves are so low.

Not the greatest condition, with a tiny shower room, not the best plumbing, but a perfectly adequate bed, in a very convenient location, and the price was incredibly cheap, so for what I paid I was expecting an absolute wreck of a place, but that wasn't the case at all!

The room and facilities were mainly adequate. However there was water on the floor possibly from the fridge The shower was one of the best ever and there was plenty of hot water, soap etc. but there was no shelf to put toiletry bags on and the very nice lit mirror was too high for me to see myself! The ceiling lights in the bathroom were faulty, one flashing on and off then going out. Only one was working in the bedroom too. Though I connected to the Internet the signal was poor and I lost radio connection in the night and consequently used all my limited data. Having an extra bed which we didn't need meant the double is against the wall so it was difficult to get in and out for someone who needs to get up in the night! We were grateful for the small fan in the present heat, the bed was comfortable and the duvet and spread worked OK. The bedhead was great to lean against but wonky! But for the price paid, in London, one could hardly complain.

Avoid.... Avoid....Avoid Most disgusting place I've ever stayed in. So dirty and kept awake all night by prostitutes. Ruined mine and my kids visit to London. Wouldn't have stayed the first night if I I had a choice. Couldn't stay A second night. and couldn't get a refund!
