Stayed 1 night

Stayed for one night before a flight, room was poorly maintained with some mould in the bathroom and damage to the headboard. Reception staff tried to make me pay for the room and deposit using bank transfer saying the card machine didnt work, I asked to try and it worked! He didnt like that it was Amex… parking out the back was tight

The carefully cropped photos don't show that it is attached to a petrol station nor that there is a rundown tyre centre just behind it. Check in was smooth and the receptionist polite and friendly. However, the room was hotter than the sun and the windows barely opened. One fan had been provided but not turned on. We had passed a room with open doors, lots of fans and no obvious occupant so assumed this was to try and cool the corridor. We borrowed one to try see of it would cool down our unbearable room. When we returned from dinner I went up to the room alone as my husband was getting bags from the car. There was a knock on the door which I assumed was him so opened it to find the receptionist there with a short angry man who proceeded to swear at me and jab his finger while accusing me of stealing a fan from his room. I apologised and said my husband would not have entered the room had he known it was occupied. The man was aggressive and intimidating. I offered to return it but the receptionist said he had some more anyway. Quite why he thought it was acceptable to bring an angry man to a room where a woman was alone is beyond me especially as he had spare fans anyway. Equally, why did they not provide us more than one fan? I was very upset by the incident as was my husband, who nevertheless apologised to the man who had much less to say to a 6'5, 17st man!! The receptionist's action were unacceptable and we will never use this hotel again. Room had zero facilities too

Staff was brilliant, room was adequate and bathroom needed some work doing on it. My son’s bed was dirty with hairs in it. Air conditioner was noisy throughout the night although switched off. Not the hotels fault but someone in the hotel was having an extremely loud party throughout the night. Area is not family friendly and would not recommend.
