They jacked my car in the middle of night for this piece on my driver side. Hotel staff is great hotel is great. The parking lot is unsafe. Memphis is unsafe. Sad to see such a great city fall victim when you book through hotel.com and stay at a Hilton you expect your car not to get jacked and robbed

Parking is $24 a night and a bit hard to find, but you can park at Mslco behind the hotel and take a tunnel right to the front door. Very clean, great beds, great staff, excellent bar. 15 more walk to Beale (straight shot). Highly recommend.

Ten stars - the bar/lounge/DJ area is a stellar addition to this hotel property. The thoughtful, considered music programming and DJ talent made this a destination for me, and I’ll be returning entirely for this reason.

Great hotel. We stay there whenever we visit Memphis. The best thing about this hotel is its location in the heart of downtown Memphis, walking distance from the Fed Ex Forum, the Orpheum Theater, and Beale Street. Also, if you're catching an Amtrak from Memphis, the hotel is the Amtrak station too. The worst part of the hotel is that the bar has a DJ who plays dance music WAY too loud in a room where there is no dance floor or dancing, so the people gathered for a drink can barely hear one another as they try to talk. We had to yell at each other to be heard. It would make sense if it were a place people came to dance, but it is not.

Central Station was an awesome hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were great. The lobby and bar area was super comfortable and always had great music. I would recommend, especially if you want to be near Beale Street. Hopefully when they get a buyer they stay open and keep the decor.

Overall it was a great stay - easy parking, walkable, and nice and helpful staff. Only negative being the restaurant/bar was supposed to open at 4 and weren’t even fully open at 5:15/not in a hurry to open either.

Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Lobby bar with a DJ was excessively loud, it carried up to the hotel entrance, but our room was very quiet. We went to The Bishop bar, instead - great bartender and fantastic food available. Room was large and had a full compliment of amenities. Self-parking was $1 less/day than valet, so just valet. Overall, an excellent option for staying downtown in Memphis. We will be back

We had to call maintenance to fix the TV that wasn’t working when we entered the room. The music was playing and i didn’t know where it was coming from until we finally figured it out. Someones clothes were behind the dresser so I don’t know how well the place was clean, but they were still clothes from the prior customer. The sheets were dirty we took pictures and gave the clothes to the front desk. Not happy. I don’t know what the deal is with the parking lot but hotel customers should get something to put in the window so they don’t have to pay to park in a lot right outside the hotel. Hotels with lots don’t usually charge for parking.

This unique hotel is an experience in Memphis that I highly recommend. The check-in staff was efficient and hospitable, offering dining, entertainment options. I saw some negative reviews about cleanliness, but my room was spotless. Others mentioned the rooms were dark, but there were plenty of lamps, overhead lighting at the entry and one had a dimmer switch to adjust the brilliance of the lighting to taste. The lobby was a vibrant place to relax with music and people gathering. Above was a quieter zone. Two staircases in the lobby were fitted with cushioned bench seating with throw pillows. Great BBQ nearby (thank you, check-in staff!), friendly bartenders are a given in Memphis (made great suggestions for must-see venues and good eats), and great live music less than a block away. The National Civil Rights museum is within easy walking distance away. If I'm ever back in Memphis, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

The property itself is really COOL…but, of the 5 hotels we stayed in on our Road Trip, it was the LEAST clean inside the room, and the hallways smelled moldy. I won’t say don’t stay here though because it’s a NEAT place to stay overnight. Maybe we caught them in a bad day. The hotel itself, concept-wise, LOVED it! The staff was very friendly and helpful, as well. Had the hall and rooms felt a bit cleaner, it would’ve been no issue! Try it though!!!

Lipstick on a pig … wonderful where you check in, a motel when you go to your room. They renovated what most people see but not what the customers experience during their stay. Old, dingy rooms with newer furniture pieces but nothing that really changes how outdated and old the rooms are. But, hey, I guess you get what you pay for. It’s in the cheaper side for a reason. The staff I interacted with were great.

Cool vibe. Lobby is interesting. Staff was nice. Carpets could use a good cleaning. Detail cleaning in the room is needed, under desk, around the bed edges, picture glass, tile in shower… all shower products were empty. There was only one regular coffee pod. Foregoing caffeine New Year morning wasn’t cool. The lobby had a coffee stand but it was out of cups. Not a bad stay but for the $$ and hype I was hoping for a little more attention to detail.

The hotel was nice, rooms had a great view of downtown Memphis, and the Eight & Sand bar was awesome. I really wanted to enjoy the in room dj playlist throughout our stay, but that didn't work during and engineering couldn't determine how to fix it. I would stay here again but maybe upgrade to a bigger room.

In the rooms focus seems to be on design over function. Tiny fridge was so shallow it was impossible to stash resturant leftovers. Room had no space for accomodating any workspace. Bedside lighting was terribly dim and made reading in bed impossible. Second floor rooms have high ceilings but look directly into windows across the street. No sheer blind for daytime privacy, only blackout blind. The bed was great. Bathroom spacious but the shower doors leak. Be sure you position the inner one near the shower head otherwise you will flood the bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful Common areas are nicely designed and have lots of interesting things everywhere you look. Neighborhood is transitioning in a good way. Arcade diner across the street is a great spot for breakfast or lunch if you dont want to go far. Close enough to Beale street but away from the noise. All in all we had a nice stay here and would go back again.

Great architecture and use of an old building. Our corner room on the 2nd floor had magnificent windows and 20 ft ceilings! Wow! Only negative is that the road noise at night was quite loud. Glad we had a sound machine.

Very nice hotel in a reasonable walking distance from tons of Memphis sites. There is also a lovely local grocer less than a 10-minute walk to the southwest. The user-controlled speaker in the room playing music 24/7 was a very nice touch. I had no issues with other noises during my stay. I was on the 6th floor. I highly recommend.

The Central Station was ok. Upon check-in, the receptionist was not very friendly. Our room was clean. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was never operational. The walk-in shower door allowed water to escape and pool up on the bathroom floor. If you like really loud, party music coming from their lounge then this is the place for you!

The room was fine except it was dark and there simply wasn’t enough lighting. Two bedside lamps (one broken) and a small table top lamp. Impossible to read and even a bit difficult to get ready the next morning without opening the curtains.

This hotel is Memphis for sure in all the best ways! Great vibes and the staff were the best. Two things: 1. You cant control the air past 65...i know it is low already...but it feels in the 100s and we like ut cold. 2. Since the fan to the ac doesnt run, you can hear the music of other rooms as you lay in bed...great bed by the way. Highly recommended though!

Services listed - example laundry - where offered by a 3 rd party so when I tried to use facilities and was unsuccessful the hotel could not help …….. I really want a ‘ one stop shop’ when I book something that states facilities are available. I found the customer service to be lacking - not what I am used to when travelling in the states

Can’t say enough about our stay at the Central Station Memphis - the visit was flawless. Our room was airy, with high ceilings, whisper quiet even on a weekend evening - and our room service dinner was amazing. We had our pup with us and the staff couldn’t have been nicer to her. Check in was quick and easy, and check out painless. Parking lot was safe and guarded 24 hours a day, as well. Best part was the staff, everyone was welcoming and professional - they made our stay really great. Thanks so much to everyone we met!

We weren’t able to get to the hotel the first night but I didn’t think it was a problem because we had already paid for the rooms for both nights and I had done a virtual checkin (and picked our rooms). When we arrived we were told we were a no show and our rooms had been given away. We were offered new rooms but we had to pay AGAIN. Why did we have to pay twice? If you’ve already got our payment for the 2 nights, you’re not out of pocket if we don’t get there for the first night. No one was willing to help other than charge us again. We were told our parking would be compt but it is still on the charge card. Terrible service and policy

This was absolutely the worst hospitality experience I’ve ever had in my life! As an individual & veteran that has been in the hospitality industry for over 35 years, coming from very humble beginnings, I usually don’t complain about much; however, I was completely taken aback by what happened last night. I had flown all the way from California, went to handle some business and visit relatives In Arkansas and looked forward to giving your establishment a try for the first time in my life. We showed up at the hotel very late and tired, only to be told that they didn’t have my room because of over booking. She did say she was sorry & there was nothing she could do, but I asked whether any other room was set up for us elsewhere & she said no, and after I complained about not getting a call ahead of time that could’ve prevented me from driving the additional two hours round trip to Arkansas, it wouldn’t have been as painful, as all other hotels in that area were fully booked, and I’m not very familiar with Memphis. She said since it was a third party booking through Expedia that Expedia was called. Expedia said they had no such call! In conclusion… I’ve been a businessman for most of my adult life, in short I would like to know what you plan on doing for me and my family for the lost money and time spent? Please advise at your earliest convenience. Jesse 360-362-6260

This was my first stay at Central Station and I highly recommend it. Beautiful facilities, impressive thematic art collection, great meal and drink options, and super convenient. I especially appreciate that it's in walking distance to the National Civil Rights Museum, trolley line, and longstanding Memphis favorites like The Arcade and Earnestine & Hazel's. It's perfect for a quick and/or first trip to Memphis - plenty of onsite parking and is literally at the active train station.

A very good place to stay. A very nice hotel. Walking distance to Beale Street but not right on top of it. Uber distance to downtown. (The trolleys are not running.) Very close to the Civil Rights Museum.

Unusual interesting place. They have a style. Small room. Overlooked the old city. I really liked it. Very active lounge with music. Great location on main street near Beale st. 2 blocks from the Iconic National Civil Rights Museum. Our FIRST stop.

Gorgeous hotel in renovated train station. Mixologists at the bar make excellent cocktails. Convenient on new South Main street walking to tons of restaurants and trolley outside takes you to Beale for a buck. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and will stay again next time I'm in town.

It was a nice place to stay and have some history included. I was disappointed that the information on the website did not match the hotel. There was not a separate restaurant, no room service and no valet parking.

Great location. We enjoyed happy hour in the bar and had a wonderful brunch at the Bishop. Manager of the restaurant was very accommodating for our large party. Rooms were clean and comfortable. With a few exceptions, most of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

I was looking forward to staying here due to its railroad heritage and location in the Memphis arts district, and was not disappointed. Service was superb and the food in the Bishop restaurant was delicious.

Water pressure was good. Advertised restaurant and brunch does not exist. Trued to watch football game on room. Streaming service is completely horrible! Witnessed the front desk completely rip a lady who prepaid two nights, didn’t show up "in time" so they said they had to givebher room away. What a racket! Parking $26 day, but not adverised. Ill not be back.
