Cute place! Recently renovated room that was very comfortable. Very clean and staff was very friendly. It's about 15-20 minutes from Monterey Bay. Free parking. Gas station on property with a mini mart. The lobby office was being renovated. 5 minute drive to the beach. Breakfast is just a granola bar, yogurt and fruit they give you in a lunch bag. Worked out great for what we needed and price was reasonable.

The motel room was nicely equipped with a TV, refrigerator, microwave and well-stocked coffee maker. The room is clean and the woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful. It is a motel with parking located right in front of the rooms. The office to check-in is attached to the gas station store.

Signs are not up yet---have to find it behind the Gulf station. Breakfast isn't---you get a lunch sack with a yogurt and a granola bar. Coffee for guests is in one thermal pot---better coffee is available for purchase. Location is excellent.

There was no breakfast nook like it was shown in the pictures. The office area was inside a gas station convenient store. It was a breakfast bag on the go. The reason I picked it was because of the picture of the little breakfast area. I feel like that is false advertising. They should show recent pictures of what it looks like. The picture I was not impressed especially on how much I paid for this room.

I would rate this property equal to either Motel 6 or Super 8. No better or no worse. It is located behind, or is part of, a gas station. Check in is in the food mart of the gas station. It is conveniently located near a number of restaurants. Facilities are somewhat dated.

It was a convenient location. They were renovating the property so finding someone to assist you was difficult but when you did they were helpful. We asked for a roll a way and it was rusted and mattress was not at all comfortable. They did not charge us for it so we appreciated that. They only cleaned our room one day during our several day stay. It was clean when we arrived but we just needed our trash taken out so we did it ourselves. We did feel safe while there.

The property was ok for what we needed out of this trip. There are no pictures of the front of the property because there is a busy gas station right in front of it. It makes a lot more sense once you get there. I had a really hard time finding the office as well and ended up asking at the gas station front desk. Check in, once I found the desk was fine. The traffic was a bit noisy as it is right on a main road but we were able to sleep just fine. It died down later in the evening. The outdoor flood lights both seemed to be like strobe lights and not properly working and there was obvious repairs being done around the property so it was messy/dirty. Breakfast to go was perfect for what we needed! I don’t know that I’d stay here again (maybe if it was even less expensive) but everything was just ok.

I stayed at this place for two nights. After my checkout, I noticed over a dozen bed bug bites on my legs. It was incredibly uncomfortable and concerning. I expect basic hygiene and cleanliness from any hotel and this experience was far below acceptable standards. I hope this issue could be taken seriously and addressed properly. But in the meantime, I would not recommend this inn to anyone.

Human hair all over the mattress sheets and pillows. Killed 2 different spiders, 1 on the floor, 1 crawling near the nightstand. Only stayed there for 1 night but would not stay again due to cleanliness.

Our room was super clean. We had a great stay. It smelled clean as soon as you walked in and the bed was very comfortable as well. Would definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area!

We stayed here while day hiking Big Sur. Mostly were just here to sleep but it was great for that. The beds were comfortable, the wifi was super fast and the rooms were clean and quiet. The area felt safe too. I'd stay again.

The hotel room was very good. There was a very pleasant floral smell in the room. We liked the laminate floors instead of carpeting. The bathtub/shower appeared older. Breakfast was a banana, yogurt, oranges, cookie and chewy granola bar. We were on the first floor & Unfortunately, on the last night, the noise from upstairs was horrible with people walking back. & forth & loud bangs from their room like something was falling every now & then. It was so hard to sleep. The room had very light colors & was pleasant. We wish we got the young guys name who checked us in. He was wonderful! He was a night worker. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

We are towing our son’s vehicle and stopped here. My husband very carefully parked in the overflow parking and before he was out of the pick up the desk clerk was out the door telling him to move. My husband calmed him down enough to go register after listening to his tirade of how we should have parked in the gas station lot (like we should know that). When we parked in the gas station lot, he came out to inform us we were not “straight “ enough. I am including photos of the empty parking lot and when I woke up at 1:30am it was the same. Did I mention it was raining? Our original plan was to try to book another night here. Obviously that is not going to happen.

The young man there who checked us in was one of the most personable and helpful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of chatting with!! He gave us our rooms a little early, made sure the two rooms we were given were next door to each other, he gave recommendations for different beaches to visit based on different things we may be looking for, he was so friendly, even the next day he tried to help me find something I needed to season my dinner!!! I would stay here again because of his customer service and genuine personality. Aside from that, the rooms were clean and nice (especially for the low price we paid for two nights!!) and they kindly changed the linens when I asked, due to the kids getting sand everywhere (after going to one of the beaches he recommended 😁) GREAT PLACE

First the lobby is attached to the gas station. Sounds odd but it’s actually great. The young man who greeted us was so incredibly nice and very informative. He pointed out where our room was and where everything was. Probably one of the best customer services I have ever experienced .

The stay itself was great, room was clean and comfortable, no problems with shower or sink drains, A/C worked. Evening staff (a gentleman) was incredibly pleasant even gave food suggestions. However morning staff (a woman) was HORRIBLY unhelpful, unpleasant and almost made me wanting to cancel my entire stay. We arrived at 230pm and I understand that it was not check-in time; but she didn't even bother to check if at least one room was available so that we could freshen up before going to a show. She did not even touch her computer and simply told me to come back at 4pm.

My family and I arrived around 8pm for check in and was greeted by a man with blondish hair who was extremely friendly and gave great recommendations for things to do in Monterey Bay! He also told us to stop by in the morning for breakfast! My family and I were driving Hwy 1 and stopping in cities along the way. In the am, I came in for breakfast with 2 children! A man was seated at a desk and a woman was standing close to the desk. I stood there awkwardly for about 45 seconds waiting for a greeting, then I told them I was here for breakfast! The woman began asking me, “ Are you staying with us? What room are you in? How did you know about breakfast?” I was standing there with hungry children and responded, “ Is this how you treat your guests that stay at your hotel?” I then gave my name and the room number and proceeded to take out my room key. The woman gave me banana, yogurt, and granola bars. There was no apology, no kindness, or anything for the rude apathetic behavior, and after spending $200 on a room for a night, there’s no reason to treat a mother and her children that way!

Having a 24/7 mart & gas station right next to the hotel was such a bonus! I would only say it was initially difficult to find the main lobby/check-in entrance, but there's really friendly staff to help out as well. Overall great option for visiting Monterey area (the main Aquarium is only about 20min drive away for example), without the high price tag of other places! Clean, quiet & safe.

Check in and check out was easy, our room was a good size and the water pressure in the shower was great with excellent hot water. The bed was much firmer than we’d hoped. There wasn’t tons of things close by to Walk to so we had to Uber a bit. The breakfast was high carb snacks in a to go bag. So don’t count on a healthy breakfast with any protein. Overall, for the price, it was a good place. It is in Monterey County, but not walkable to Monterey Bay.

This isn’t a knock on the property it’s fine it just that when I searched for a place to stay near the Monterey Bay Aquarium this one showed up but it’s actually about 18 to 20 minute drive away from where we thought we would be. Other than that it’s a nice enough hotel for the price.

Cute place! Recently renovated room that was very comfortable. Very clean and staff was very friendly. It's about 15-20 minutes from Monterey Bay. Free parking. Gas station on property with a mini mart. The lobby office was being renovated. 5 minute drive to the beach. Breakfast is just a granola bar, yogurt and fruit they give you in a lunch bag. Worked out great for what we needed and price was reasonable.

Returned to this hotel/motel because it was great in the past and it met our expectations this stay. Management even honored my request to save the room I had in the past. I thank them. Also, a breakfast "bag" was obtained from the office and had nice items included.

There was no breakfast nook like it was shown in the pictures. The office area was inside a gas station convenient store. It was a breakfast bag on the go. The reason I picked it was because of the picture of the little breakfast area. I feel like that is false advertising. They should show recent pictures of what it looks like. The picture I was not impressed especially on how much I paid for this room.

This is a 2 star motel striving to be a 3 star motel. Service was good and all the staff we contacted were friendly and seemed to be knowledgeable. Rooms were large and clean. Bed was comfortable. Furniture was nice. There were many electrical outlets around the room. TV worked well . WiFi was good. The negative. They use a single comforter in place of blankets which for me never works at any hotel/motel. They are on a busy road with a 24 hour gas station on the property which all the rooms face. Might be a problem if you are a light sleeper. When the motel is full there is not enough parking spaces. There was light coming under our door so bugs could enter although we saw none. Neutral items. Breakfast consisted of a sack with a banana, yogurt, cheese, danish, and a granola bar. They provide free coffee in the morning. This was our first visit but it appears they are working to upgrade the property. Weather stripping on the bottom of the doors would help.

Really nice breakfast to go packed in a brown bag. Complementary coffee was very good! TV was a little hard to figure out as there were 2 remotes but after speaking to the front desk he gave me the basics to get it started.

I LOVED THIS PLACE.... the rooms were roomy and nice... decorated nice... Bed comfortable,,, I=I would so come back. The pricing was reasonable compared to other places in the area... One of the cutest things was my husband went to get coffee in the morning and he comes back with generous BAGGED BREAKFASTS... so sweet... more then a continental... we had granola bar and yoguart and milk and sweet roll, fruit.... perfect for a weary traveler on the move.. thank you for doing that... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED>>>>
