MainStay Suites Lebanon - Nashville Area

Limited parking and the rooms weren’t up to par for my large family. Bring some sort of sheets if you want to use the pull out couch feature in the suites. Nothing was provided. Plus,one room out of our two had a leaking toilet so the bathroom floor was wet the whole time. There was one elevator and it was rickety plus kinda small for a hotel with three floors worth of rooms. It was just older and not as tidy as I had hoped. I wouldn’t go back when there were other choices nearby. Especially for the money I paid. Plus I didn’t get a paper receipt. Email only he said.

The children were upset that the pool was not in service. That was the main reason why we got this hotel was for the pool because of the winter months.

Booked for one night and ended up staying 2. Very nice location easy to get to. Staff was very nice. The elevator didn't work most of time we were there (3 Rd floor room). Breakfast is a little work for selection. Notice that stay at 2 of you properties so far this trip and several people staying there said the same thing.

We booked an available room for 6 people and when we asked for bedding, blanket and pillows for the sofa bed they said they didn’t have any and only had bedsheets. And the hotel was not even busy. There were only about 10 cars or less in the parking lot so to say they didnt have any extra bedding for the sofa bed was a lie. Poor communication, I had to go down to the front desk to get the bedsheets myself after I called and asked. They didn’t even say come and grab them from the front desk. I waited 10 mins then called back and asked if they were bringing it up and if I needed to go down. I also needed ice, so I went and found two ice machines that weren’t even plugged in, so no ice! This hotel had the worst service in my lifetime. Do not stay at this hotel or you will be very disappointed.

Staff were super friendly. Only negative was there were only 2 washers & 2 dryers so it was hard to get to them to wash clothes with the amount of people staying.

Hotel lists having charging for cars which it does not. Would not have booked this hotel otherwise. Also photos of room were not of actual room. They use the suite photos for every room. Booked a room that appeared to have space for our portable crib but did not, they were able to change rooms for us though. Desk agent had no idea how to change listing or any other way of saying the information would be corrected. Lack of charging impacted our travel the next day. Better hotel options elsewhere. Multiple bags of Garbage in hallways and smell of marijuana. Remote location and vibe of place would make me hesitant if traveling alone.

The lobby is not much, and the pool was closed due to city saying water clarity wasn't up to code. Room was nice and breakfast was good.

Very convenient. Really liked having the kitchen available on days we didn't eat out. Pool small , would have been nice to have a hot tub for the adults

There was a problem with the plumbing during our stay, but the staff moved us to a different room and were more then willing to accomodate our needs. This only thing was there is no hot tub. Other than that is was a very nice and comfortable stay.

I would describe this place as “lipstick on a pig”. They have “renovated” but you can see how bad of a job it is and gunk and grime around the tub. You could see how the room nor the hotel were not really clean. Carpet all over and in rooms which are not clean and there is a musty smell throughout hotel and in rooms. You have to have the a/c going to keep it cool and we had a portable fan to keep the air moving to avoid the smell. It is the type of place non of us would walk without shoes on or take a shower without flip flops. We had 4 adults scheduled in the room and they left us 4 towels and the towel for the front of tub was already wet. We were really disappointed and felt “icky” staying there. I would not recommend

Bathroom had fresh towels put in it. Other than that I have no idea when it had been cleaned last. Toothpaste on the wall by sink, brown splatters on the wall, hairs in the shower and a dead cockroach on the floor. I would have asked for a different room, but there was no staff, as I was told by the front desk at check in. After traveling all day, we just dealt with it. But I won’t be back.

Shower was gross with mold in the corners. The shelving it’s that were above the sink were gross looked like they haven’t been clean in a while. Found some Tom and Jerry loony toons pajamas in one of the drawers from someone that stayed before. The stove look like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Staff was friendly though.

I caught and flushed a cockroach in my bathroom. The towels were stained with dirt, and there were items left behind by a previous guest. Which means housekeeping didn't really clean

Hotels.com gave this location an 8.0 out of 10, very good rating with 166 reviews. There were many options to choose from in the vicinity we chose with similar price points. This hotel, from the pictures and reviews looked good, so we selected.First I want to address cleanliness: When we got to our room, we immediately noticed that it was dirty. There was urine on the bathroom floor, it was sticky when shoes walked on it. The toilet bowl was dirty with human waste. Hair was also found both on the floor and walls. There were greasy fingerprints all over the cabinet doors and countertop in the kitchenette. There was dust all over unused, flat surfaces.Second is function/aesthetic:The shower faucet handle/ cartridge inside, needed to be replaced. The handle would continuously spin freely and not stop, so you had to find the "sweet spot" in order to turn it off. The shower head was also broken. Spraying out of the side, over the shower curtain and onto the bathroom floor. I thought this may have been simply calcium buildup, but after inspection, saw that the head was actually coming apart from its body.The faucet on the vanity was loose and very crooked. The faucet stop was installed incorrectly and was barely allowing water to pass by, even in the open setting. The drywall in the bathroom looked like it was under repair, There was bubbling and peeling of the paint all over. The lighting fixture was covered with rust, along with the hinges on the bathroom door. Would like refund.

Although the hotel rooms look amazing online, they really don’t look like that. The room was clean but there were greasy finger marks everywhere. I wiped down all the wall switches and handles. They were dirty. The kitchen cabinets had a lot of grease stains on them. The staff was amazing and friendly. It was comfortable for the one night we are here.

There’s nothing unique! The building had a strong smoke smell. The room smelled like smoke in the beginning. Weird check-in policies. Maybe invest in updating the cleaning practices. My family WILL EVER recommend this hotel.

This was a pretty busy hotel. But even with the business, it was not loud or a problem. We had everything we wanted/needed. Breakfast was quite good. Our room was very clean. A few issues… The floor was dirty in a few places around the hotel. There was no tv control and we had to go ask for one. There were no dishes in the cupboards. We later found them in the dishwasher, but we weren’t sure if they were clean or not. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, but I wasn’t necessarily uncomfortable with it. The shower had some mold and a few hairs. The paint was bubbling and pealing in several places. Overall, our stay was very good. This is somewhere I would feel confident staying again.

There was a horrible odor inside this hotel. I checked out after the first night.

Room isn't even cleaned at check in. Disappointing.

Everything was very nice and the room was very clean! Excellent shower! The breakfast was exceptional. The lady preparing it was really nice. Only one draw back-A more comfortable couch is needed in the rooms. The couch looked good as for as style is concerned; but for older people...like my husband and myself...we need just a comfortable couch!

The room was ok when you first walk into the room there is a hump in the floor that pops when you walk.

Checkin was great! The desk clerk was very friendly, rooms are clean and big, and we enjoyed a nice breakfast too. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a quieter hotel. We would definitely recommend MainStay in Lebanon.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating

The hotel did not hold my reservation and said Expedia cancelled my reservation. Expedia said they did not cancel my rooms and my reserved rooms were booked to someone else. Still waiting for my refund for the rooms!

It was an odd experience. The front desk employee that checked us in was wonderful (Amanda) super nice and welcoming. The hotel was pretty empty which made it kind of eerie. We had all of our children with us and needed to use the sleeper sofa. We went down to ask for linens (none were in the room) and they gave them to us with no pillows. We went down to ask for pillows later that night and they gave us ONE, very unwillingly. Literally told my daughter they normally don’t give pillows out and were very hesitant to even give the one. The breakfast was also awkward. We were there a little late at 9:10/9:15, and they not only watched my family eat but would not allow them to bring something upstairs for me. I normally stay upstairs with the baby and they bring me something. They said they weren’t allowed to take the food. NEVER had that happen before. Also the linens and towels had stains on them and the smell in the whole hotel was weird… would never stay again!

It was perfect for our stay. The staff was amazing, friendly, & helpful. The weekend we were there we had some bad weather & the staff was great with sharing the emergency procedures/locations for tornado warnings. Breakfast exceeded my expectations and having the kitchenette was perfect for our needs! Overall, it was a great stay and will be back on our next trip to Nashville!

Amanda at the front desk was Amazingly helpful & Kind the whole 3 days of our stay! My Son and I had a Great Vacation!

Would be nice if they brought clean towels every day and pick up trash

We needed a room for six. They gave us a room with two queen beds and sofa sleeper, which was fine. When we went to make the sofa bed there were no linens. We called and asked for them. They told us to come get them. The only thing they provided was a flimsy blanket, no sheets, no pillows. Who wants to sleep on a mattress with no linens or pillows? If you are going to advertise a sofa sleeper the least you can do is provide linens for it. Will never stay here again!

We ended up canceling our stay and just paid for the first night. As soon as we walked in the lobby this horrible smell hits you. It was bad. Then on top of that thermy want to charge you $150 deposit, that is not mentioned on Hotels.com when you book, and another $50 to check in early. We ended up staying at Comfort Inn IN Lebanon (Mainstays is like 6miles away from main Lebanon). We would not recommend this place just from the walk into the lobby.

I wanted to like this hotel more . I tried . Peeling paint , lack of resources in a family suite . Dirty floors , hair . Sheets dirty . The laundry room .. don't even . The pool jerky , food was barely enough and basic . Area nice but next time I'll stay in Juliet or Franklin .

We loved the convenience of the site. It was clean and mostly quiet.

The property was very well maintained. Staff was professional and courteous. Checkin was easy and quick and my room was stocked with everything. Best part was extra towels in room. Breakfast was hot, fresh and well kept.

I definitely would avoid the hotel, we (family of 4) stayed for 8 nights and after 2nd day we had to ask 3 times for clean towels and toilet paper which we never received clean wash rags, on day 3 I asked for our room to cleaned which never happened. The breakfast was horrible unless you enjoy watered down sausage and eggs not to mention the rude attendant. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable also one night a man in parking lot walking around with huge knife and finally decided to check out pool and surprise it was closed….. definitely would not recommend this property 😡😡😡😡

The ice machine was down. At breakfast Sunday morning the coffee creamer was not stocked and the attendant was too busy chatting at the front desk to be bothered with restocking. There was a bloody used tampon just laying in the parking lot

The hotel has been renovated, but it’s not on par with similarly priced hotels in the area. The breakfast was mediocre. The desk staff were very friendly and we were happy this hotel was pet friendly. At the price point of 181$ for 2 queen beds, we expected it to be much nicer overall.
