We fell in love with this place. We only booked 2 nights because we were apprehensive about being able to sleep without AC and not knowing the bathroom facilities however we are already dying to go back. We loved the facility and grounds. For animal lovers it's great - there were cats, dogs and even Rosita the coconut eating pig on the grounds! It was nice to have the free access to the kayaks and the free breakfast! We did have dinner both nights there and both nights it was the same 2 options (I'm not sure whether that changes at all but I will say if we had stayed another night we would have gone into town because we were bored of the same meal option BUT for 100 pesos each for dinner I really can't complain). The food and beer prices were really reasonable and they had a communal fridge for guests. Some info for the room (the basic cabin) - we loved it. We managed without using the fan the first night but the second night it was way too hot to sleep without it but obviously that comes with the loud noise of the fan so bring earplugs if you can't sleep with loud noise. The beds are very short - we're both 5'7" so managed okay but I think anyone over 5'10" would be uncomfortable. There is a plug socket so you don't have to worry about not being able to charge things. Obviously expect lots of bugs! A note about the staff - we saw negative reviews when booking but everyone we dealt with was kind and pleasant!

La atención fue buena, sin embargo nos enfermamos de tantos moscos, a las 7.30 pm ya estaba todo oscuro sin una sola luz, no podíamos salir de nuestra habitación, pagamos el mismo Día dos habitaciones, dormimos todos en una porque no tenía clima la otra, para llegar al lugar son 2 km de terracería, si llueve te quedas atrapado, solo rescataría el buen servicio, la comida y la laguna que es linda, pero tuvimos una muy mala experiencia ya que fuimos a encerrarnos en la habitación y a llenarnos de piquetes, era incontrolable….

Room was clean and well-maintained. It had an airconditioner and 2 comfortable beds. It's in a beautiful, tranquil place in front of the lagoon. You can use the kayaks, canoe and paddleboard. Breakfast is provided and is freshly made when seated. It's a mexican breakfast and it's satisfying before starting the day.

Accueil parfait, personnel très gentil et à l'écoute. Chambre très sommaire. Nous avions une chambre à 3 lits, propre mais vieillotte. Pas de clim mais nous n'en avons pas eu besoin. Si vous cherchez un hôtel bien aseptisé ce n'est pas là qu'il faut aller ! C'est plutôt ambiance baba cool avec un cochon et des chiens qui se promènent autour. Nous sommes arrivés tard et sans rien à manger, possibilité d'acheter des choses pour cuisiner sur place. Accès à la cuisine collective en libre service (cuisine et zone pour manger sur sol en terre battue). Dépaysement complet au calme parfait, on est réveillé par le chant des oiseaux. Libre accès aux kayaks pour faire une ballade sur la lagune. Le petit déjeuner était compris dans le prix. Fruits frais, thé ou café et omelette avec haricots rouges

The location is along the lake and tucked in a jungle. But the properry is simple and better for camping and simple services. Food is really good. You need to have your own car or call a taxi to get into town. So its about 300 pesos each way.

Un confort sommaire (douches et toilettes communes, eau froide, espaces communs en bois) mais dans un environnement paradisiaque avec un personnel au petit soin, des repas succulents pour trois fois rien et un souci de notre environnement. Un retour aux sources magiques dans un endroit paisible proche de l eden ! Notre bonne surprise au cours de notre road trip mexicain. Coup de coeur pour la sieste dans le hamac sur le ponton au bord de la.lagune et pour les petits dejeuners maison gargantuesques !

The property needs maintenance is not very clean some villages have air conditioning a lot of mosquitoes staff not took to long for our food and we had to ask twice for everything we ask extra 😞we did meet the owner very nice gentleman he needs good employees to keep his guests happy and coming back 🙏

Est une place magnifique pour se retrouver en tranquillité et paix et connecter avec la nature, le personnel est très gentil, servicial, souriant et accueillant et la nourriture espectacular!! Juste le ménage de chambre jamais a été fait dans 3 jours les toilettes sont communes et pendent mes 3 jours jamais on été nettoyés papier toilette sale pour 3 jours plaine mouches imposible de rentrer ou prende une douche🙁. Est important, vu que la place est si retiré du village, d’être attentif aux recervations car personne réponds aux appels, ni aux messages et en arrivant en soirée on a dû crier et faire le tour de l’hôtel pour que quelqu’un viens nous accueillir, en pijama et sans clés de ma chambre que n’étais pas prête à 22h quand j’étais supposé de la recevoir vers 15h difficile quand on voyage et les vols ont de retards ( Canada- Cancun/ Cancun- Bacalar) ça sont les petits Détaille qui font la différence

La propiedad esta lejos de la ciudad, la haboitacion, simple y con muchos insectos muertos, o sea no limpia, es como para gente que quiere ir de campamento, obvio al estar frente a la laguna, muchos moscos, la recomiendo si quieres ir a vacacionar sin muchos recursos y para entrar y llegar es una brecha de 1.8 km de terraceria, ademnas te dicen pet frenly y sus pinches perros estan sueltos, entonces al llegar es su ttereno y atacan al que tu lleves y te quejas y te dicen que ellos son terriotiales y ni pedo.

Room was clean and well-maintained. It had an airconditioner and 2 comfortable beds. It's in a beautiful, tranquil place in front of the lagoon. You can use the kayaks, canoe and paddleboard. Es un concepto diferente y que vale la pena probar, el servicio es excelente y te hacen sentir como en casa, su vista a la laguna es hermosa y también el acceso, las habitaciones tienen lo esencial si buscas un super hotel 5estrellas no es tu tipo de hospedaje, pero si buscas una vista espectacular de las estrellas por la noche, sí lo es.

Est une place magnifique pour se retrouver en tranquillité et paix et connecter avec la nature, le personnel est très gentil, servicial, souriant et accueillant et la nourriture espectacular!! Juste le ménage de chambre jamais a été fait dans 3 jours les toilettes sont communes et pendent mes 3 jours jamais on été nettoyés papier toilette sale pour 3 jours plaine mouches imposible de rentrer ou prende une douche🙁. Est important, vu que la place est si retiré du village, d’être attentif aux recervations car personne réponds aux appels, ni aux messages et en arrivant en soirée on a dû crier et faire le tour de l’hôtel pour que quelqu’un viens nous accueillir, en pijama et sans clés de ma chambre que n’étais pas prête à 22h quand j’étais supposé de la recevoir vers 15h difficile quand on voyage et les vols ont de retards ( Canada- Cancun/ Cancun- Bacalar) ça sont les petits Détaille qui font la différence

La atención fue buena, sin embargo nos enfermamos de tantos moscos, a las 7.30 pm ya estaba todo oscuro sin una sola luz, no podíamos salir de nuestra habitación, pagamos el mismo Día dos habitaciones, dormimos todos en una porque no tenía clima la otra, para llegar al lugar son 2 km de terracería, si llueve te quedas atrapado, solo rescataría el buen servicio, la comida y la laguna que es linda, pero tuvimos una muy mala experiencia ya que fuimos a encerrarnos en la habitación y a llenarnos de piquetes, era incontrolable….

We fell in love with this place. We only booked 2 nights because we were apprehensive about being able to sleep without AC and not knowing the bathroom facilities however we are already dying to go back. We loved the facility and grounds. For animal lovers it's great - there were cats, dogs and even Rosita the coconut eating pig on the grounds! It was nice to have the free access to the kayaks and the free breakfast! We did have dinner both nights there and both nights it was the same 2 options (I'm not sure whether that changes at all but I will say if we had stayed another night we would have gone into town because we were bored of the same meal option BUT for 100 pesos each for dinner I really can't complain). The food and beer prices were really reasonable and they had a communal fridge for guests. Some info for the room (the basic cabin) - we loved it. We managed without using the fan the first night but the second night it was way too hot to sleep without it but obviously that comes with the loud noise of the fan so bring earplugs if you can't sleep with loud noise. The beds are very short - we're both 5'7" so managed okay but I think anyone over 5'10" would be uncomfortable. Un confort sommaire (douches et toilettes communes, eau froide, espaces communs en bois) mais dans un environnement paradisiaque avec un personnel au petit soin, des repas succulents pour trois fois rien et un souci de notre environnement. Un retour aux sources magiques dans un endroit paisible proche de l eden ! Notre bonne surprise au cours de notre road trip mexicain. Coup de coeur pour la sieste dans le hamac sur le ponton au bord de la.lagune et pour les petits dejeuners maison gargantuesques !
