La Galuna has been a good choice for us in Bacalar. There is good value in the price for nice room, nice pool, very polite staff and good breakfast. Location was also good, but still not in the city center. Parking places are monitored by camera,

Il soggiorno è iniziato subito benissimo con il personale super gentile, ho chiesto per un massaggio che ho fatto il secondo giorno e per un tour della laguna, mi sono state proposte varie formule per entrambe le mie richieste, il massaggio si è rivelato uno dei migliori che ho fatto in vita mia ( ne faccio minimo due al mese) ed il tour perfetto per le mie esigenze, la camera fantastica, grande, pulita con un letto king comodissimo, vasca idromassaggio, doccia separata dalla toilette, la colazione è migliorabile ma c’è da dire che siamo in bassa stagione. Sicuramente sarà il mio riferimento a Bacalar

Hôtel très tranquille dans un quartier calme. Il faut compter 15min pour aller au centre ville et à peine 5min pour voir la lagune notamment le ponton de l’ecoparc à 20$ MXN idéal pour se baigner dans une eau transparente. La piscine est sympa avec les hamacs et les chambres sont très bien décorées. Petit déjeuner correct en supplément. Nous sommes également passés par la réception pour réserver une balade en bateau avec une compagnie très pro et à taille humaine.

Rooms are clean and nice, in hotel amenities it is great with the exception of a restaurant as the bar only serves breakfast so we were on our own for dinner, It’s a nice property.

El lugar está bien, está padre el diseño y la decoración si embargo estaba muy sucias algunas áreas como por ejemplo la alberca (tenía cucarachas de agua dentro de la alberca y basura orgánica) tuve que sacarlas con una red que había cerca, al igual que en el jacuzzi de la habitación tenía el mismo bicho, la recámara estaba bien sin embargo la cabecera estaba llena de polvo y telarañas, era una cabecera de madera y se ve que no limpian esa área, de ahí en fuera el lugar estaba cómodo

El hotel fue muy cómodo, muy limpio y habitación muy bonita. Él área de la alberca era muy pequeña pero bonita. Lo único que podemos comentar es que se escucha el ruido de las personas de limpieza, azotan las puertas y hablan muy duro. Pero eso no cambia nuestra perspectiva.

For the price I paid the accommodations were ok I think for a little more money I could have gotten nicer. It’s small and quiet which was nice. I never saw anyone tending the bar but sure when it’s open. WiFi was spotty occasionally but overall good. The power went out the first morning so also meant no water. Two bottles of water were in the room upon my arrival but were never restocked. The staff was friendly and communicated well. Close to many tours 13 min walk to city center no need for taxi or driving the location is great. I felt safe walking at night even at 1a

Towels like sandpaper, sheets were badly worn. There isn’t a restaurant and the man at the front desk couldn’t have been bothered by us. We left a day early without a refund. It was like paying to not have to stay.

Nos quedamos en Galuna y fue una excelente opción si buscan tranquilidad y tener todo cerca. Incluía desayuno que estaba muy rico (variedad para elegir) y las amedidades estuvieron super bien. Lo mejor? Se me quedó un anillo de compromiso y no dudaron en contactarme y enviármelo por DHL - coordinaron todo y fueron muy amables y preocupados. Eso no se ve en todos lados! Muchas gracias a todo el equipo en especial al de recepción que siempre fueron muy atentos para ayudarnos en todo.

Great property, most of the staff were super kind and helpful and the breakfasts were amazing! The only thing that bothered me were the guests at 7am in the pool screaming and wilding out and then again until 10:30pm when we were told that noisy times were between 9am -9pm. My husband is Mexican, I speak Spanish very well and the ladies at breakfast weren’t nice to me and making remarks thinking I didn’t understand the first morning so I sent my husband for the next days. Overall it’s a great space, great location and we had a private space with a jacuzzi that made the experience even better.
