It is a waste to have such a run-down property at such a beautiful beach of Cancun. The view was great and the beach were best; however, the property really need to upgrade and renew/renovated!. I have booked the Altitude which is the newest of all three Krystal in this area and it is ashamed to say that it is out-dated with rusted! I can’t imagine what it would be like staying at the older buildings and at Krystal alone. I believe the owner/property management should think about reinvesting into this beautiful location. You are missing out on attracting more affluent customers because all your amenities are outdated even the restaurants option/choice are limited.

The beach is its main attraction. The air conditioners are limited to 24 degrees Celsius, so the rooms aren’t that cool especially for the summer time. Common areas are pretty warm as well. The food is okay overall. The staff is great, so management is the issue, more focused on bottom line than repeat customers. The rooms themselves are nice at the Altitude side of the property.

Altitude was great but you still have to share with Krystal Grand and ir is OLD and dirty. Bathrooms always closed. Dinner closes at 11pm, alcohol 12pm at bar. NO AC nowhere to keep cold only Altitud Bar that closes at 11pm. Only one staff at bar serving two hotels.

We paid for the tower, and the adults only pool. There often were young kids at the pool. Person who did not have access to the pool often where at the pool. Smoking was not being monitored like it should have been per the resorts policy. People were smoking anywhere they wanted to and staff members would not say anything about them needing to go the designated areas for smoking.

Beautiful property on a great part of the Cancún beach. The rock barrier prevents big waves making it very family friendly. The Altitude tower was pretty new and well set up. Clean, modern facilities. The restaurants had ok selection - not the best we have seen at 4 star resorts but also not bad. Service on the beach was excellent. Service in the restaurants was very slow. Resort is smaller than others in this area. Fine if you have a palapa or balibed rental on the beach. If not, the crowd at this resort claims every open chair early making it hard to find somewhere to sit until late in the day.

Not as advertised. There was no night entertainment and nothing to do at the resort for families. The beach was great, the best part. The property and rooms are not maintained, kids were picking up pool tiles off the bottom of the pool for fun. Tiles were chipped and not repaired in our room. Dinner reservations were often not consistent - not uncommon to wait for 2hrs at the restaurants for dinner - does not work with children. There is no steak house. Everything is available for an additional charge, despite the fact that you are all inclusive. Close to downtown so you could walk and explore shops, and restaurants. Bars on the resort do not open until 11am. Service was slow. Buffet is not kid friendly. Room service was a great option. Would not stay here again.

Stayed in Altitude 10th floor so wonderful view of Cancun beach. Some issues with the room but very fast service to fix it. But they have a policy that u can only reserv a sunbed 30 minutes that wasn’t followed. People put there towels before breakfast and the staff didn’t care. I had to ask them why there was no drink service at the Altitude infinity pool but at all the rest of them. They started with it after I questioned it. Best food was in the tower and the grill. Beach great gym need upgrades. The bars are boring and Moscito beach restaurant was closed. Overall a great location with great view if u choose the right room in the Atitude krystal.

Wonderful hotel and the beach. Wonderful room and the view. Great service at reception and restaurants. Altitude breakfast was very nice. The Concierge Janet was excellent, very helpful. 5 stars. Downside - very bad food in buffet and Japanese restaurant that actually is a Thai food restaurant. The best food was in the Grill. We ended up eating in the Grill all the time. Another big downside - very loud music on the beach . Not just loud - extremely loud. We had a cabana in Moskitos and we couldn’t stay there , because of the loudness of music. And the stuff refused to turn it down just a little and it was rude. Because of that we wouldn’t be coming back. It is not my idea of vacation. This hotel is great if you are looking for beautiful beach and really wonderful hotel room , helpful stuff . It is great, if don’t mind the loudness and bad choice of music and if you are not a foodie. to get a bed on the beach you have to get up early. There is very limited amount of beds.

This was our first time traveling to Cancun and we loved staying at the Krystal Grand Cancun. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was very clean and comfortable. The beach area was clean and we loved the Bali bed we used one of the days. Overall it was a great trip!

My family observed roaches at the food buffet and when management was notified his customer service was poor . We met with another manager the next day who tried to offer my sister a 25 minute massage but only on the condition she signed a waiver saying she wouldn’t leave a bad comment . I wouldn’t tell anyone to stay here .

From the moment we walked in it was dirty and loud. There was only two working elevators. They were beyond dirty, puddles of water on the floor and took about 15-20 to go up or down. Our original room we booked wasn’t available, we ended up in a double queen room. It smelled very funky, dirty sheets on one of the beds. You could only take about a two minute with cold water before the shower started almost overflowing. Very glad we were only there for one night.

We recently left after staying for a week. I had paid more to stay at Altitude. What a joke. Only one option for breakfast and dinner where there was minimal options and food was cold. One night the meat options were not even cooked. For lunch you have the same buffet which I never went and then two little food huts by pool that served the standard taco, quesadillas, Mexican hotdog or hamburger. The service at the pool was very slow. Had to change my room because the ac wouldn’t go below 78. Changed rooms and it wouldn’t go below 74! Shower had hair from a previous stay. The lobby had no ac. I was unable to go to French restaurant, use my day bed voucher or the infinity pool that is offered to Altitude guests because my daughter was only 16. Every night we went out for dinner because the food was horrible. I will never come back. Worst stay ever.

The staff take pride in the cleanliness of the facilities. Every single day I saw them cleaning and making sure all outdoor areas were cleaned, pained, pressure washed, etc… Very impressed with the upkeep. Pool staff were wonderful! Service was quick and they often checked up on you. Housekeeping was great as well, although our mini bar was not restocked 3 days in a row, which was frustrating. Restaurants were good. I was not able to make reservations because we were a party of 5. Halfway through our stay I asked about it and finally we had assistance making evening reservations. Saw many guests with Altitude beach bags. We were never given any gifts or items at check in. We tipped all services very well.

My family had a terrible experience with the hotel management we brought to the attention of two management officials Jenar and a female manager and they played down the fact that my niece observed roaches in the buffet. Jenar attitude was poor and the female manager attempted to offer my sister who treated the entire family to vacation a 25 minute massage for compensation. When my sister arrived to the massage the female manger she spoke to in the hotel lobby was waiting there with a document for my sister to sign stating she wouldn’t leave a review if she took the massage it was actually completely unbelievable. She didn’t sign the form she instead paid full price for a massage and notified their corporate. Don’t stay here .

We absolutely loved our stay at Krystal Grand Altitude. The rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean. The staff is attentive and very friendly. This all inclusive resort has several restaurants and there is food options for everybody to enjoy. There is also a Starbucks that is included. What a nice addition! The gold sandy beach by the hotel is excellent. No rocks anywhere to be found. We just had an excellent and very relaxing vacation. Thank you Krystal Grand Altitude!!

Friendly service and buffet food was decent. What I did not like was that DJ music goes on until midnight, or later. Rooms need soundproofing. Even on the 10th floor of the altitude tower, you can hear the music bumping all day and night. Sleep was next to impossible and I don't feel rested. The wind is very strong and whips around like crazy on the balcony. The divider to the next room was broken and hit constantly against the balcony. The sliding doors were difficult to keep closed and every time you open them, a strange noise whistled in, as though an alarm were going off.

We stayed at the altitude tower and it had the most beautiful views. The room itself was nice, it just had a really musty smell. We were unable to get a reservation for any of the restaurants while we were there which was a bummer. I would wake up at 6am to try for a reservation and they would be completely booked so we ended up ordering room service which was great or eating at the buffet which was ok.. nothing special. The beach is beautiful and very clean/ calm. The location is great, within walking distance to a lot of great things. Overall it was a good time but I would go elsewhere next time we head down to Cancun.

Music was so loud could not sleep well each night at the party deck. Room was so hot that we could not cool off once in the room. Could not relax in the room. We were always desperate to leave the room and be outside where at least it was breezy. The room was horribly hot because of the a/c not working. The maintenance people could not fix the issue or get us transferred to another room. Desserts were mainly gelatin/jello in each dessert and even the cheesecake was terrible. Do not recommend! Will update if i am refunded!!

Hotel excelente, beira mar e com uma super estrutura. O restaurante francês Le Delice é um espetáculo a parte, com menu de alta qualidade. Os concierges Sara e Janer estavam sempre disponíveis para nos apoiar. O bar da piscina oferece bebidas com qualidade e a piscina com borda infinita também é maravilhosa. First of all on arrival we were sent to a room that was not on the picture and had to pay an extra$260 to get the upgrade. We then were given a ticket for a shared cabana and when we found it were told that we were on the wrong one even tho it was the correct number. We then had to move to another area. Staff were constantly trying to make us buy off the main menu when it was supposed to be an all inclusive. We were upgraded to the main restaurant for our inconvenience however still bombarded with waiters for us to purchase from the main paid menu. We did not know what we were eating and it was disgusting. We also ate in dark.My partner then became violently sick so spend all night ill. We had to have someone up to the room to deal with the overly blasting air conditioning so they had to deliver blankets it was a total gong show. There was bird fecies on and in the swim up pool adults only infinite where people put their hands. Apart from the view of the ocean Save yourself 1000s and go somwehre else this was atrocious for what was supposes to be a special romantic night!!!!!!!!!!!

An error was made on our reservation and they refused to make the change to allow us to stay. Instead, they wanted to charge us an extra $300 per night for 3 nights. Keep in mind we flew from the U.S. and were forced to book a different hotel for the remainder of our stay.They also refused to give us back the deposit we paid. They did not want to work with us at all. They just wanted more money. Terrible service. Zero accomodations made for the mistake made on the reservation.

I stayed in the Altitude tower from 3/13-3/19. It was definitely a wonderful stay . I had a personal concierge Janar and he was great ! He made all my reservations for the restaurants on the property and even offered to help if I needed anything off the resort. My only issue was with Jason from the Red Fish seafood restaurant. He was very rude, my fiancée and I tried to get his attention to order drinks on several occasions and he ignored us . When I finally got his attention he yelled out I AM NOT YOUR WAITER and walked off . I immediately went upstairs to complain. Its was definitely giving racism!!! Mind you tbere were exactly 3 other couples sitting in the restaurant at that moment! JASON was very rude ans unprofessional! Besides my issue with Jason my stay was great !

We chose the all inclusive and it really is. Including items from the mini bar (where most hotels try to rip you off!) Food, service, location from the beach, and the pool were all perfect. Our concierge was very helpful, and it seems like the staff is always on duty. I wouldn't change a thing about this place and will definitely be returning.

This hotel has one of the best views of Cancun at the room we stayed overlooking the ocean. We stayed here for two nights before going to another hotel but this one has better views by far. It’s about a 7 minute walk from the night clubs and Coco Bongo… the location of this place is perfect. Also, great people working at this place.

This was our second time staying at the Altitude at Krystal Grand Cancún. Pros are friendly staff, comfortable beds and clean rooms. You can walk to restaurants or convenience stores. Always felt safe. Pools are immaculate! Beach is the best! Most staff knows how to speak English decent so that is a huge plus. Cons would be that I had to request blankets and towels a few times before I received them. Food is average not great. Overall a great experience. I would recommend.

This was my first all inclusive deal and KRYSTAL GRAND CANCÚN had some hits and misses. Great place for kids and families looking for fun and quiet during the week. On Thursday and Friday you can hear CONGO BONGO down the street and the 1:30AM fireworks really was a surprise 😅 Would stay again but there’s many resorts in the area I would like to check out next time. Reyna our housekeeper was a dream, be sure to tip the lovely lady at the end of your stay.

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at the Altitude at Krystal Grand and we were shocked at how well we were taken care of! Our master ocean front suite was wonderful! Most of the staff were unforgettable! To start, Ivan at the front desk greeted us with excitement and ease! Our concierge- Janer was amazing! He made sure we had dining reservations for each night and stayed in contact to make sure we were enjoying our stay to the fullest! He even arranged special anniversary surprises in our room several nights of our stay! Such a nice touch! The staff at the Altitude bar- Jahir was the friendliest and most down to earth person we met on this trip! He was fun to chat with and always made delicious drinks for us! When it comes to the food- I will say, the buffet was hit or miss and the staff working it were not quite as friendly. Each restaurant reservation we had, met our expectations. In my opinion, The Grill was the best! We would definitely stay here again!

The staff at the pool bar and beach bar were very friendly. They did a good job preparing the drinks in good timing. The staff at the restaurants were good as well. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job at keeping our room nice and clean too. The only thing we didn’t like was the food choices. We wished the property had more authentic Mexican food there vs mostly international type foods.
