Rodeway Inn Augusta

This is not the hotel shown in the add on expedia. Poor excuse for a Wyndham hotel. Dirty, wallpaper peeling, dirty, elevator didnt work and we we on the 3rd floor. Beds were broken down. Again, not a Wyndham hotel. We feel we were dooped and want a refund for a horrible room.

Noisy neighbors. Wet pavement and parking area from prolonged water leak. Unpleasant veiw of the overall property

Pool empty, looks like it hadn't been filled in years. Breakfast was a joke. Short showers or tub would overfill. Bathroom light might come on. TV fuzzy. I won't say it was dirty, but it needs a ton a work.

The pool was closed no water. The continual breakfast was just a muffin and coffee. The web showed a clean pool in good condition. The web showed a good breakfast eggs toast bagels waffles. This would be a deal breaker if we had known. Will not stay again.

Convenient to interstate.easy to find. Plenty of parking. Restaurants nearby.

Missing light bulbs in lamps, broken towel bar, trash overflowing outside stairway, no signage to indicate the name. A dump.

Front desk check in was ok. Room condition needed improvement. Floor was still wet from cleaning and room smelled strongly of cleaning solution. Our arrival time was almost 7pm so we were not an early check in. Dried water puddles in the floor around bed with the bath mat and mat was very dirty afterwards. Left me wondering just how well the room was actually cleaned. Was not impressed with room location either. We were put right across from a noisy bar with a noisy alleyway for auto between our room and the bar. I booked through Expedia instead of the hotel website so I may have been given a less desirable room due to this. This is an older hotel and the room and furnishings especially the bed mattress attest to that.

Room smells moldy and damp.seems like we got bad colds. Mattress worn out. Lamp in common area had make shift plug into wall socket. No breakfast ( probably because of hurricane Helene). Wouldn’t have stayed if another hotel was available. Stayed there about 15yrs ago when it had different name. Really nice back then

The breakfast bar was laughable, it was only muffins and coffee....nothing else. The elevator did not work, which was tortuous having recently broken my leg.

I'm sorry but the floor of the room was absolutely disgusting. Either housekeeping forgot to sweep and mop or this is the normal status of all the rooms. The counters were clean as was the bathroom so that was a positive at least. But the bed sheets and towels/wash cloths were all stained. You can tell that they were bleached so when wet the ugly stains came to life.. gross! The grounds were filty and unkept where the dog plot was.Trash, food and glass littered about making it unsafe for my dog. However doggie bags were provided. They need to replace the damaged doors to the rooms. Looks like a ghetto around there. Sadly it's obvious the owner takes no pride in this particular Econo Lodge location

I have stayed in over a thousand hotels all over the world, but never found dead cockroaches in the bathroom. When I told the front desk they didn’t seem surprised or offer any alternative. No rooms available locally, we were there for The Masters. Disgusting place.

I woke up at 3 am to find my arm bitten my bed bugs I contacted front desk they moved me to another room. I was told to wait until morning to write an incident report. When I went to front desk I was told that they do not have bed bugs I said yes you do and advised that I had video and pictures which I sent to video to him directly at his request. I was not compensated a refund or anything to that matter. I called corporate and I was told that a case was open over the phone. So I will need to follow up on this matter once I return from my trip this happen July 2 2025

Very dirty, found dead roaches on the floor in the morning

Awful. Dirty, gross, and old. Probably the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. Only one lamp in my room worked; no other lights except one in the bathroom. Outlets didn’t work. Room service never came over the two nights that I stayed. Towels were worn, gross, and stained. Paint chipping off of the walls, bathtub was stained yellow, there were stains on the walls, including something that looked like blood. TV only had a couple of channels that worked. Do I need to keep going, or do you get the point?

My mom booked it not knowing the area. I felt unsafe. The room smelled moldy. I refused to use the shower. When I pulled the covers back there was a scab from someone on the sheet. Not recommended.

Checked in asked, for a wake up called, and the room looked like it has never been clean. Old towels, no hot water. Bathtub had dirt and lots of hair in it the lights didn't work and the phone wasn't even connected . Changes room, and the was dirty and there no towels and phone wire has been cut. Carpet was dirty, the fridge wasn't clean. Wanted to leave, but had to pay up front when making reservation. No breakfast at all either. Don't always believe what you read. All was lies.

While the staff was courteous, the room was dirty the floors were sticky, it smelled of smoke and there were roaches!!. dead and live. That's when I asked for it to be mopped, the dead roach was still in the same place so the floor was never mopped; I used the small bag inside of the ice bucket for my soap and wet things to take home, but when I took the top off, i saw that someone had previously used the top as an astray. I don't smoke, but if I needed ice....I would have thrown up. They don't clean well or check the items in the room because that should have been cleaned or removed from before I arrived. I will not book here again!

Everything was dirty, let alone I asked for new sheets after checking in and the front desk attendant told me if I want clean sheets to take them sheets to the laundromat.

Online description of the property is very deceitful……Rooms are horrible, mattress were nasty. We had to change rooms and it wasn’t no better… I wouldn’t recommend to no one…

AC didn't work well

I left all of the broken stuff on a table. Part of the shower, coffee pot and hair dryer though I think its the outlet.

Check-in was fine. Room did not feel clean. For a room for four, there were two towels, two washcloths, one small shampoo, and one bar of soap. The tub wouldn't drain. There was mold in the bathroom. Beds weren't comfortable. The pillows were without plush. Overall, I wouldn't stay there again.

Outdated!!! Had problems with unlocking our door!!

The new owner is trying to keep up with the demands of an older property. The price I think is quite high for what you get the area isn’t the best they were homeless right in the parking lot. The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke awful the room was decent. The bathtub had cigarette burns on it. The bed was comfortable a bit hard but OK. The front door had a huge gap. It need weatherstrip and you don’t get breakfast for a $100 US.

Was quiet but obviously an older facility that needed and was under renovation. TV didn’t work in my original room so I was moved into a different room. (The TV issue incidentally is one of the reasons why I checked out of my previous hotel in Augusta). No breakfast but Dunkin and Starbucks across the parking lot.

Great location, convenient, friendly staff. Anyone above 5'8" won't be able to shower comfortably. There were stains on the sheets, dark dime sized, looked like blood. Sheets were "clean" so the stain was old, but these should have been thrown away. Overall, comfortable stay, but the stains, cobweb, and shower size were just unfortunate. Thumbs up to the staff though, super friendly.

customer service was great, but the property wasn't so great... the room smelled musty, the AC was loud, and shower ceiling when you step in the tub was kinda low... but the beds were comfortable at least and the location was great.

Noisy room next to bar. Walls are thin. Tried to change room. New room was occupied by unauthorized person. Third room was contaminated by cigarette smoke. Horrible place. AVOID!!

Front desk was helpful, easy check in. Room was just what I needed, clean and comfortable.

Stayed for a couple days during week Masters, paid way way too much for the condition of the room. Staff took great care of the room but that was the only positive. Front desk was unstaffed and when it was staffed she was on her cell phone talking, didn’t pay attention to me checking in. This is no more than a $69/night hotel, they should put some of the money they make during Masters week back into the rooms so you don’t feel so taken advantage of when you pay $489/night.

I extended my stay.... when checking in I had to pay $75 because I used a 3rd party to book (hotels.com) and when I added another day I was checked out then checked back in having to pay another $75. I have $150 in limbo and need a other night yet can't afford another $75. Horrible experience and a dirty room DONT BOOK DONT BOOK UNPROFESSIONAL UNDER TRAINED EMPLOYEES THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! ON THEIR CELL PHONES ALL THE TIME

The staff at the Hotel do a very good job of keeping their clientele happy and satisfied. Most of their rooms have been renovated or re furnished nicely

I forgot my laptop,and called the office mail it to me (I have provided a shipping label to them) one week past nothing delivered I called the hotel several times,and they blocked me,I called the hotel with my son's phone and I asked about my laptop, they said will mail.bad management,bad people,I will never stay there again. For the records I stayed there 01/16/04 Monday nite.

Very efficient staff … very customer friendly snd accommodating

This hotel is very affordable, clean and the staff is very attentive and eager to make sure you do not have any problems during your stay. They have hired new staff and the rooms are being reconstructed.

We had to request a room change, due to uncleanliness. The front desk staff was rude. There is a $20 charge for a pet. The second room had wet carpet and a TV that did not work. The property was a mess. I would not stay here again. It will be a comical memory, but truly the hotel needs major renovations. The beds we’re comfortable, which was a saving Grace.

Had a death in the family 2 days into a 5 day trip, so I had to leave early. Initially, the hotel said they were going to refund me for 2 days. Then, suddenly, they decided to change their mind and REFUSE to refund me for days that I would not even physically be there. They had no compassion or consideration for the fact that someone in my family passed, and I needed to go home.

Clean rooms. Near to all restaurants, hospital, fuel stations, also a safe place

I came in town for a concert and needed one night. The location is very convenient. A Starbucks right in front and it was 10 minutes from my venue. There’s ALOT of restaurants in the area. The hotel is dated but everything was very clean. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. I had no issues at all.

Let’s see when I initially checked in my room keys didn’t work and I was switched to another room. I had been on the road from South Florida all day long so I put my cat into the room and went straight over to my son’s house for dinner. When I got back around 10:30 is when I really looked around the room. I noticed the wallpaper coming off of the wall. I turned on the TV and there is a line going through it. It needs to be replaced. I went into the bathroom and there are multiple cigarette burns on the tub. I checked the bed for bedbugs and it was clear so as I was tired and it was late, I went to sleep. When I woke up this morning, there were two dead roaches on the floor that my cat had killed and left as a present for me. I walked outside to go down to the front to have breakfast as I specifically searched for breakfast included as one of my requirements as well as pet friendly. The breakfast consisted of a cup of coffee or a juice, and a little muffin. That is not breakfast so that is false advertising. I was really in for a shocker when I walked out the door in the daylight to the multitude of cigarette butts outside of my door that maintenance obviously doesn’t feel the need to clean up. As well as a Q-tip, a corona beer, bottle, cap, a candy, wrapper, and the trashcan overflowing Outside of my door by the stairs that’s probably where all the roaches are coming from. Highly disappointed in Days Inn and Wyndham in particular.

Obviously old, tired property needing total renovation but slightly excusable because of recent hurricane disaster to the area. No breakfast.

The advertising and actual visit is not the same. The bathtub had hairs in it. Me & my sons had to skip bathing, i wasn't cleaning that. The carpet was filthy & had stains, the bottom of their socks were dark. The microwave did not work. I would hardly call a snack brownie & coffee breakfast as advertised. I will not be staying here again, was highly misled & disappointed. I wished it was a way this could be fixed.

It was clean however the TV didn't work. Didn't have bath towels in the room, sitting on the toilet was like a rocking chair, chargers would not stay in the outlets and there was no breakfast. There are better options available.
