O hotel tem uma estrutura muito boa. Acesso direto à praia, boa piscinas e várias opções de bares e restaurantes mas deixa muito a desejar no atendimento. Poucas cadeiras de praia e poucas na piscina que não cabem todos os hóspedes. O atendimento nos bares e petiscos tem filas grandes e lento fazendo perder tempo.

The Resort is a bit outdated but loved how hard everyone one is working to keep it clean and preserved. I will have mention this resort does not have umbrellas by the pool, snd its almost impossible to be near the pool with absolutely no cover. The food was delicious and personal working in the restaurants were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately the majority of the bartenders specially at the swim up bar had a horrible attitude and made the experience uncomfortable.

We had an amazing time at The Pyramid Cancun! The resort is lively, beautiful, and has everything you need for a fun getaway. The location is perfect right on the beach with stunning views and easy access to the ocean and pool areas. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a great view. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated how many restaurant options there were everything from buffets to more upscale dining, and most meals were better than expected for an all-inclusive. Make sure to book the specialty restaurants early! The entertainment was nonstop pool parties, live music, beach events there was always something going on. It’s definitely more of a party vibe, which we loved. If you're looking for energy and fun, this is the place. The pool and beach were gorgeous, and we never had to go far for a drink or a snack. If you go, I recommend upgrading to the Pyramid level it’s worth it for the extra perks and restaurant access. We’ll definitely come back!

Honestly, I was quite disappointed with the stay. There were only two good restaurants and they had no reservations the entire time we were there. The food at the buffets were awful and wait times at other restaurants with mediocre food were over an hour. The elevator was broken and we were on the 6th floor so lots of stair climbing. When we tried to check out, they said we rented a cabana and never did and we had to spend over 30 min disputing this charge that was not ours. Really wish we could get a refund for at least one night!

La estadía en el hotel fue BUENA. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Muy rápido (llegamos de noche). Por las tardes veía algo de fila. PLAYA: Excelente: sin piedras ni algas y con colores espectaculares. Lo malo: pocas palapas y camastros, y casi nada de sombra natural. Hay que ir temprano para obtener lugar o llevar buena protección solar. ALBERCA: Amplias y bien distribuidas, aunque todas estaba muy frías. El ambiente es 100% familiar. BEACH CLUB: Solo adultos. Espacio renovado, moderno y con vistas increíbles gracias a sus albercas escalonadas. BARES: Suele haber fila. En el del beach club esperamos ~15 min. Solo permiten 3 vasos por persona, así que lo mejor es llevar termo para mantener la bebida fría y evitar tantas idas. ALCOHOL: El alcohol es de baja calidad, sabe mal. Lo más rescatable es la cerveza y los tragos mezclados. RESTAURANTES (OASIS): Buffets promedio y con fila de ~20 min en horas pico. RESTAURANTES (PYRAMID): Excelentes y estilo gourmet. No hay fila por ser con reservación, pero en alta ocupación puede no haber disponibilidad en todos. CAFETERÍA: Café regular-malo, demasiado jarabe. ENTRETENIMIENTO: Buena variedad de shows y actividades. HABITACIONES Limpias y cuidadas. ÁREAS COMUNES Limpias y cuidadas. Aunque los baños están lejanos, con muchas escaleras y algo viejos. SERVICIO: Mayormente bueno y amable. CONSEJO: El upgrade a Pyramid vale totalmente la pena. La habitación ocean front tiene una vista espectacular, ideal para ver amaneceres.

I stayed on the 6th floor and only one elevator was working, which did not always open on the 6th or 1st floors. It was a little frustrating and time consuming. The pool was extremely hot; the pool water did not cool you from the heat and humidity. I rarely give such a poor rating but I needed to say it.

O quarto é bem limpo, cama muito boa, as comodidades são boas. Localização é longe do centro porém tem ônibus q para na frente do hotel se for o caso. A praia é perfeita. Única coisa q eu não gostei é que os restaurantes com reserva são quase impossíveis pra reservar, e mesmo vc dentro do restaurante deu o horário de fechar eles não querem mais saber de te atender. Espreguiçadeira da praia impossível pegar , pq são poucas tem umas camas de praia porém 1400 pesos para alugar. O hotel tem 3 categorias , não vale a pena vc pagar a mais senunca tem disponibilidade pra te atender pra reservar

The website says they have certain things which they absolutely don’t, there is no nightclub, casino, etc. There is no adult side to this hotel at all. Making a reservation for dinner is not ideal. Food was not good. They don’t listen and if you don’t get a do not disturb sign for your room they literally just walk in and the show that they put on is beyond loud, extremely loud. The only thing that saved this trip was the beautiful beach and water. Everything else not so good. I will not stay there again.

Property needs a facelift ,infested with pest(roaches) had to change room and even then the roaches still popped up crazy things is when they came to treat it they did so while we were in the room, the entire hotel smelled like a burst sewer the swim up bar was unsanitary, the sitting area was filled with mold,the staff didn’t practice proper sanitary behavior and the lines for food were too long for an all inclusive with 8 restaurants the gift shop policy is ridiculous even if the item is un used and still in the original packaging they won’t take it back or exchange it even though it says so on the recipes they over price everything and if you’re not staying at the pyramid you have limited access to a lot of stuff so it wasn’t much of an all inclusive. Also the food choices even though they say rinternational cuisine was all Mexican cuisine. And the roaches were very present in the food halls as well .Breakfast was ok some of the drinks were ok,but the beach that they have on the website is filled with seaweed not swimmable,I’m giving them a 1.5/5 and that’s because of the drinks definitely will not recommend to anyone I know and I’m never going back……

Especialmente en las habitaciones. Rente dos habitaciones con estancia de 5 días, no habían pasaron ni 12 horas para querer salir corriendo de la habitación y preferir dormir en una hamaca. Las Habitaciones se encuentran infestada, y necesitan ser fumigadas; Encontré bichos por todo el cuarto e incluso en las camas, piso, televisor y hielera y teléfono. (cucarachas, termitas y polilla en las puertas de madera y clóset de la habitación). Las habitaciones necesitan de una limpieza exhaustiva, ya que puedes encontrar sociedad, desechos, moho, óxido y bichos sobre: (puertas, camas, paredes, piso, refrigerador, artículos de cama, tasas de baño y lavabo, colchones, tina y paredes de baño). Las habitaciones necesitan Reparaciones: (goteras, grietas, humedad) Son un riesgo para la salud). El edificio necesita reparaciones, hay goteras por todos los pasillos, que resuelven colocando toallas en el piso y retener el agua únicamente. En el techo, puedes ver grietas, incluso partes del techo se pueden caer en cualquier momento, debido al agua acumula por las goteras; Lo que hace un riesgo tanto para huéspedes y los trabajadores. Si no fuera por las habitaciones y deterioro del edificio; Detalles buenos: El personal es amable. La vista del Mar y su color hermoso son impresionantes y dignos de admirar!

A localização é boa. O hotel precisa urgentemente de reforma e manutenção. Os quartos possuem bom tamanho mas estão velhos. No banheiro, pela manhã, todos os dias, tinham baratinhas andando na pia. A banheira estava detonada e era uma dificuldade subir o pino do chuveiro. A comida dos restaurantes exclusivos era muito boa, mas a praça da piscina tinha alimentação horrível e a limpeza e apresentação também não era interessante.

I never write reviews but I do not want anybody to waste their money here. It was a very unpleasant experience. A very crowded place. They made us do 2 times the huge lines for check in. Very disorganized, employees at front desk very rude and not just us, I witnessed several other guess checking in already complaing. The place smell is musty, very old. Everything was dirty, not even 1 glass door clean, all with thousands of hand prints that I did not even wanted to touch. Food is horrendous. The only thing looked somewhat nice, were some areas of the pool and the same day we arrived I entered pool around 5 pm and when we left at 530 pm someone already had stole my coverup that was less than 20 feet from us. The rooms with very very old furniture, bathroom had draining hole open with no cover and shower faucet was broken and placed on the side of shower to put it in place when you needed to use it. It was that bad that eventhough I had paid 6000 dollars for 3 nights and 2 rooms from Miami on 4th of July weekend, the following morning after we arrived, I booked Hard Rock Hotel through Expedia paying another $2100 and left the property. Hard Rock is another type of property, service and food. Do not waste your money here.

Very disorganized, employees at front desk very rude and not just us, I witnessed several other guess checking in already complaing. The place smell is musty, very old. Everything was dirty, not even 1 glass door clean, all with thousands of hand prints that I did not even wanted to touch. Food is horrendous. The only thing looked somewhat nice, were some areas of the pool and the same day we arrived I entered pool around 5 pm and when we left at 530 pm someone already had stole my coverup that was less than 20 feet from us. The rooms with very very old furniture, bathroom had draining hole open with no cover and shower faucet was broken and placed on the side of shower to put it in place when you needed to use it. It was that bad that eventhough I had paid 6000 dollars for 3 nights and 2 rooms from Miami on 4th of July weekend, the following morning after we arrived, I booked Hard Rock Hotel through Expedia paying another $2100 and left the property. Hard Rock is another type of property, service and food. Do not waste your money here.

I face discrimination at the Coyote Bites restaurant by Hector who refused to sit me. He told me my dress was too short and families were inside. The ROOM HAD MOLD! On my first night without my child and baby I wanted a hot bath to find mold in the bathtub some parts of the room did too. There is no beach front, even when you purchase the VIP or upgrade from a grand oasis to the pyramid wristband, they only consider nice rooms and treatment if you buy it directly from them, not through agencies, they are very open to let you know that at check in & during your stay. The same way they only provide transportation if you book directly with them. The shows are nice & run every day expect for Sunday or if it rains because they are in the open. The other shows are in the restaurants if you have a reservation, I tried making restaurants reservation as soon as I arrived but couldn't pick because they were full, the lady was helpful and assigned what was available which much wasn't even up for debate. THE BLACK SENS IS CLOSED for construction as well as the Kinky bar isn't there no more as well as the casino, I tried making my reservation while was waiting for a room from 9AM when I arrived till 5PM when I received a room (because the check n is at 3pm & they prioritize the customers who book directly with them. The staff could not find my reservation because I booked with the agency & then couldn't find my check in I had to keep skipping the check in line to ask about room updates. I also had to prove that I paid by emailing my receipt and booking to the check person. There Is a fee for any amenity expect for beach and pool.

I loved the food, loved the staff. Entertainment was good. Rooms were outdated and staff gave me two rooms on opposite ends of the hotel so our family was split apart and we have little kids. I even called them as soon as I made a reservation and requested rooms to be next to each other. Concrete around the pool is eroded and impossible to walk on without shoes.

Vi valde rum Pyramid master havsutsikt. Rummet var fantastiskt. Terrass med solstolar, cabana och bubbelpool. Men däremot omöjligt att få bord på al’a carte restaurangerna. De kvinnliga värdarna på Buffén Tunkul var snorkiga och borde söka ett annat jobb. De manliga servitörerna var däremot mkt service villiga och trevliga. Verkar vara ett problem med den kvinnliga personalen även i incheckning har de dålig attityd. De tycker kanske att de är finare än gästerna eller för fina att ge service. The room was okay, it wasn’t great. Shower valves were loose and would come off. Showers also leaked a lot of water when showering. Coffee machine didn’t work. Overall staff was great once checked in. The check in process is the worst. There is no order and you could be there first but because they take such a long time to check in the staff would call the other people that have just gotten there instead of guest that have been waiting longer. The first night, the ocean was NOT visible; it was a view of a roof and a distant lagoon. We didn't have a spa/jacuzzi on balcony as we paid for. We were only there for 2 nights for a special anniversary celebration. I wanted my partner to experience the Sian Kaan Master suite to it's fullest. But it didn't work as a first impression. The HVAC had a really bad leak in our bedroom so we had towels all over the floor which saturated the beautiful rose petals I thew down that led to the bed. There was no jacuzzi on the balcony and it was a very small balcony. Lastly our tub did NOT drain so we showered with our feet/ankles remaining in the dirty water that would not drain away. Lastly, there was a male urinal in one bathroom that reeked of urine and I gagged every time I went to that restroom. So I had to resort to using the one in the living room at all times. :( Also, ALL the Si'an Kaan inclusive restraurants were booked and we didn't get the ANY of the ones that we wanted to experience until the last night, they booked us for Careyes, but we were no longer in the positive energy after the aweful first night stay. They finally exchanged our room and we were able to experience what we booked for only 5hrs of daylight. VERY sad.

I stayed on the 6th floor and only one elevator was working, which did not always open on the 6th or 1st floors. It was a little frustrating and time consuming. The pool was extremely hot; the pool water did not cool you from the heat and humidity. I rarely give such a poor rating but I needed to say it.

Like at other places, on your first day they "invite" you to a free breakfast the next morning to learn about their memberships. It's best to just say no right away. The agents they'll put in front of you are professionals and won't take no for an answer. They will always try to find a way to get you to sign contracts that are nearly impossible to cancel. First the staff was rude in the check in area, then you have to download a app and reserve your spot for dinner or lunch if you do not want a buffet, but the problem is that you have to do it 24 hours in advance and when you ask for the reservation, somebody will text you back on the app telling you if it’s available or not and if it’s not available, they do not give you the option to switch the time to see what is available. You literally have to pick another time and then they’ll text you again and tell you if it’s available or not that’s ridiculous. I was there five days and literally only got a reservation twice. Otherwise we were stuck eating buffet, chicken nuggets, and pizza horrible horrible. And when I asked the front desk the first day if she could help me reserve something for the first night because we supposedly had to book 24 hours in advance she told me that she couldn’t help me because she had other clients checking in. The kid center does not take any kids under four years old just fyi And if you would like room service, they charge you 300 Mexican pesos for the delivery I know it’s not much but all inclusive should be all inclusive.

Each day, I as waited for my transportation in the morning I witnessed the bell reception greet some people with great excitement and others more like a hassle unwelcomed. It was hectic. Time share presentations is to blame. The potetial buyers were first priority meanwhile other real paying guest were arriving too early from their international origins and thus causing disruption.

Wow! I don’t usually write bad reviews. It has to be something big for me to do this. Four of us booked a trip 7/26-7/30 to this place which I stay here almost monthly just to add to it. We checked in. No big deal. However my oldest son wasn’t coming and then his prior engagements changed his availability. So I booked a second room for him as there was four of us. I figured we would just split. Anyhow, I messed up and made a mistake. I booked the correct days but wrong month. I tried to get it changed. I offered to pay difference. Offered to cancel and refund and rebook. No no no. So now no place for my son. Ok I get it. I messed the dates up. But can’t we just change the booking? Nope…. Offered to pay fees too. I go to reception because now left with no choices. Book a third reservation. They tell me to wait till end of day in case they resolve it. Nope they didn’t. They did assure me if waited they would let me book a third reservation and there was availability. I listened. Came back that afternoon and nope no rooms. Now WTH am I gonna do. While I sit there them telling me no more rooms. I go on Expedia and book third room. But yep different building than the family. Wow they sure know how to treat guests. Never again.

Don't arrive around checkout time, because nobody available to check in guests, as they are busy helping with check outs. I stood in line for 40 minutes with only 2 others ahead of me. The lady who checked us in did not offer any information about the hotel itself, although this was after the checkout rush. We walked around a bit and quickly realized that we should return to ask for a map. I am sure those folks work very hard, so it just slipped her mind. This is otherwise a great place for people of all ages. A lot to explore and a list of activities. I highly recommend The White Box for lunch. Most of the restaurants require a reservation for dinner, but we found out when we showed up. The room was clean and spacious. I would return here.

Our room had an amazing view out to the beach, but resort was huge and therefore took a long walk to restaurants and other areas in the resort. Also, the food at buffets was always the same. There was not much of a variety.
Our room had an amazing view out to the beach, but resort was huge and therefore took a long walk to restaurants and other areas in the resort. Also, the food at buffets was always the same. There was not much of a variety.

The property is very beautiful. It is very large a lot of great amenities a lot of different activities to keep you occupied during your stay. The food lax seasoning there weren’t many options at the all-inclusive restaurants. The beach was not easily accessible. There was a drop down to get to the shoreline not recommended for young children.

I loved there was something for everyone it was easy to get to not fsr from airport n easy access to get the bus to go to the shopping centers so many food chooses it is a big resort so its a lot of walking the entertainment is more on one side or main lobby area the down everything closes early pool i think was 7 nightlife 12.but overall a nice place.I would go back.

Great location, great food, great staff. Noted that the areas near the airport stink sewer a lot - they say because of seaweed, not sure. The hotel stays in a great area, with no rocks on the beach

O quarto é bem limpo, cama muito boa, as comodidades são boas. Localização é longe do centro porém tem ônibus q para na frente do hotel se for o caso. A praia é perfeita. Única coisa q eu não gostei é que os restaurantes com reserva são quase impossíveis pra reservar, e mesmo vc dentro do restaurante deu o horário de fechar eles não querem mais saber de te atender. Espreguiçadeira da praia impossível pegar , pq são poucas tem umas camas de praia porém 1400 pesos para alugar. O hotel tem 3 categorias , não vale a pena vc pagar a mais senunca tem disponibilidade pra te atender pra reservar

Honestly, I was quite disappointed with the stay. There were only two good restaurants and they had no reservations the entire time we were there. The food at the buffets were awful and wait times at other restaurants with mediocre food were over an hour. The elevator was broken and we were on the 6th floor so lots of stair climbing. When we tried to check out, they said we rented a cabana and never did and we had to spend over 30 min disputing this charge that was not ours. Really wish we could get a refund for at least one night!

Best ever. Above and beyond all expectations. Food at the buffet sucks. Grounds are imaculate. Lots of good entertainment and fine dining restaurants that have a dress code so bring your nice clothes. Cabanas rent for $45 a day and come with a waiter. Drinks.... seem watered down cuz the ice melts so fast. The outside bars alcohol is as warm as it is outside temperture so you're not gonna get ice cold drink. It's all inclusive but these people work hard to serve you. Tipping is appropriate. The fine dining restaurants you're going to want to bring $5's for lunch, $10's for dinner and $1's for drinks. I wouldn't give it if they didn't earn it. Dinner reservations for the whole week can be made the first day you're there and they do get booked days in advance. I was there 7 nights and couldn't get into the black hole. Room service menu has few options and no alcohol. Seems like you can't get a drink anywhere before noon. No breakfast memosas. Disappointed menudo wasnt served at the buffet or anywhere, not even on Sunday. Back to the alcohol... bring an insulated bottle to keep your drink cold and they'll mix it in there for

Nice property but needs updating. If you’re looking for a time on the beach - there was no beach - ocean too rough to try to get in. Food very average (no seafood was offered at the buffet). No frozen drinks available on property. Room - l got the “connecting” room. There was no noice barrier. Coffee maker did not work. I asked twice to have it replaced- never happened- used coffee shop instead. There is “safe” in the room but you need to pay extra for a key!

The website says they have certain things which they absolutely don’t, there is no nightclub, casino, etc. There is no adult side to this hotel at all. Making a reservation for dinner is not ideal. Food was not good. They don’t listen and if you don’t get a do not disturb sign for your room they literally just walk in and the show that they put on is beyond loud, extremely loud. The only thing that saved this trip was the beautiful beach and water. Everything else not so good. I will not stay there again.

Worst property I stayed at, the water from the shower was coming out yellow then they told me I had to wait a whole 6hrs before it changed I said I wouldn’t, they put us in another room the bathroom didn’t work or flush and the room was full of ants, the entire hotel was a lie none of what is advertised was even offered and most stuff had to be paid for even with an all inclusive. Worst experience of my life and I travel a lot.
