It was a spacious space, nice back deck, excellent kitchen and two baths that suited our family's needs. The beds were comfortable and the living room made a nice lounging space. It was an easy drive to the train museum and moody gardens. Just be careful of the driveway, come in from an angle for a smoother transition.

Really enjoyed our time at the Bacci cottage and everything that came with it, nicely renovated with a lot of great history. The kitchen was well equipped and had great appliances. The bathrooms and the bedrooms were very nice, and the living room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the location, very close to all activities, Mardi Gras bash, beach, golf, breweries and restaurants. Having the community garden next door was a great addition and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. Thank you again and look forward to coming back next year!

The home was beautiful and beyond charming. The home had wonderful outdoor space, both front and back. Such thoughtfulness in the kitchen offerings and toiletries, simply above and beyond. The kitchen was stocked with far past the basics and higher ended items, likewise, finding a toothbrush and toothpaste was a pleasant surprise and lush towels was also refreshing. The decor was beautiful!! Games were provided and I even enjoyed reading about Galveston in the books that were available. The location was awesome proximity to everything. I can't say enough about the host and management team. Very kind, responsive and very thoughtful. When talking to anyone, the first concern was always that we were comfortable. Easily, will always book a stay at this beautiful home when in Galveston.

We felt the stress melting away especially morning coffee on the back porch. The decorating was beautiful. Everything we wanted to see was within close driving. We will defiantly stay again. 3

We really liked this cozy home. It was very cute and super clean when we arrived. The beds were pretty comfortable, and that’s always important! The owner of the home, Andrew, contacted me to make sure we were doing ok, and to see if we needed anything. We really appreciated him taking the time to do that. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the gas grill to light, but other than that, we were very happy with our stay! My youngest son made the trip with us, and he really enjoyed the house as well. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

The home was clean with everything we needed for our stay. The offstreet parking was nice. We were driving a sports car which did drag some on the driveway access but it would be very good for higher profile vehicle's. The management was very responsive to all our concerns.

This cottage was very clean, very well appointed in all rooms with a good supply of single use items. Nice supply of Keurig and loose coffee - the coffee maker uses both. Nice spacious family room with good TV. High recommended.

We LOVED this house. It was immaculate. Decorated beautifully. Beds were comfy. Actually everything was comfy. And we loved the added touch of the historical coffee table books telling us all about Galveston. The security system was great and helped us feel extra safe in the house. I must reiterate I liked the decorating and furnishings so much it makes me want to redo my own home accordingly. The kitchen appliances were all great and super clean and quiet. Also having a community garden next door, while sometimes a hub of activity in the morning, it made for a peaceful and fun view while coming and going and enjoying the back deck. If we ever get back to Galveston, we will definitely book this house again.

I am so glad we came across this cottage for our last minute stay in Galveston! The cottage was lovely: the decor is relaxing and unique, the snacks were a great surprise after driving all day and the included YouTubeTv was so convenient. The location was a short drive to everything we needed (we were in town for the Galveston Ironman 70.3 race) and there is a wonderful bakery/takeout place (Good Dough) about a 10 minute walk from the cottage. The beds and furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The owners and property managers were easy to reach and very helpful! We would definitely stay again!

Clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated! My husband and I had the perfect weekend getaway. The house is so pretty and conveniently located to the beach and The Strand, so it was easy to get to our favorite spots. Belinda, the property manager, was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. It was a wonderful and relaxing weekend!

The house was perfect with easy parking in the driveway. It was *spotlessly* clean (I will never get my house this clean) with heat and blankets for our chillier stay in December. It's a beautiful little house with two convenient bathrooms for separate use between the two rooms. We made use of the hybrid pot/cup Keurig coffee machine and appreciated the breakfast nook. The design detail is thoughtful down to the scalloped waves on the toilet paper. Note: beds are quite firm.

My daughter's senior prom was in Galveston. This was the perfect spot for her to get prepared. Everything we needed was provided. The place was super clean and so well decorated, and they literally thought of everything. A book was provided with all the needed info about the property. I had to call the manager once because the battery was low on the thermostat and I couldn't figure out how to change the temp. There was a before picture of the home as part of the decor, and they really did a great job restoring it. Snacks, coffee, creamer, bottled water, a bottle of wine, and spices were all provided. There was a nutra bullet and an air fryer, and board games.The only critique would be to provide more trash bags, paper towels, ans bath towels. I also couldn't find any laundry detergent to wash towels for reuse. There were gnats coming from the drain, so bleach would have been nice to pour down the drain. None of these would deter me from booking this property again. Love, Love, Love!

My daughter's prom was in Galveston, and this little cottage was the perfect setting for her to get ready and prepare. Not far out like the other "beachhouses" we were considering, which relieved so much of my anxiety. Spotlessly Clean! Beautifully Decorated! Everything you can think of was provided including snacks, water, coffee (and flavored creamers), spices, a nutra bullet, air fryer, board games, hairstyling tools, bath products, toiletries, first aid stuff, etc. (I'm sure Im forgetting something). The yard was well manicured. Next door neighbor was very nice and welcoming, and shared info about the community garden. Beds were comfortble, and linens were good quality. Their was a pic of the home before it was restored, and the decore and design preserves the character without feeling like your in an old house, as there are many modern features. I couldnt even figure out how to work the thermostat, as it looked just like a tiny mirror on the wall. Thankfully there was a book with everything you need to know about the house, including how to work the thermostat. My only critique would be to provide more trash bags and paper towels, and laundry detergent, and bleach. There were gnats coming from the drain, so I had to buy some bleach to pour down the drain as I couldn't find any anywhere in the house. I would definitely rent this property again for a staycation on the island! Love, Love, Love!

We loved this beach house. The decor was delightful and charming. The beds were comfortable. It had a nice size deck and yard and was about 3 minutes (driving) down the street from the beach. The two rooms were adjoined by a door, which may be useful for parents with small kids. And there were complimentary snacks and plenty of board games.

Everything was great! Looks exactly like the pictures. Definitely a repeatable stay! Would recommend to anyone coming over for a quick stay. Not in the best looking neighborhood, but never felt scared. Awesome experience, great hosts, clean, private, and absolutely adorable! :)

We’ve stayed at many short term rental homes and this home was one of my favorite! We found this home to be very clean, comfortable, and provided all the necessities we needed down to the spices and coffee in the kitchen. The location was good and convenient to shops, restaurants, and beach. Pictures online represent exactly what the home truly is - excellent!!! 5+++ star home! Thank you to the homeowners for making this such a great place to stay.

We LOVED this house. It was immaculate. Decorated beautifully. Beds were comfy. Actually everything was comfy. And we loved the added touch of the historical coffee table books telling us all about Galveston. The security system was great and helped us feel extra safe in the house. I must reiterate I liked the decorating and furnishings so much it makes me want to redo my own home accordingly. The kitchen appliances were all great and super clean and quiet. Also having a community garden next door, while sometimes a hub of activity in the morning, it made for a peaceful and fun view while coming and going and enjoying the back deck. If we ever get back to Galveston, we will definitely book this house again.

My two young ones (9yo and 7yo) and I really enjoyed our four-night stay at this lovely restored home in an historic part of the city. It’s right next to a well-maintained community garden so the views are lovely and lots of birdsong. The kitchen is well-equipped and there’s a killer gas range that I loved to use for cooking. We appreciated the extra touches of snacks, coffee, water, and a bottle of red wine! The beds are sooo comfortable, too, and the bathrooms are well-appointed with plenty of shampoo, conditioner, soap and extra toiletries. The thermostat was tricky to navigate but the property owner was very responsive and friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this location!

We absolutely loved our time in this home! The history of the home alone was impressive! The host was so kind to leave us snacks and even and incredible bottle of wine! The location gave us easy access to both downtown and the beach. The kitchen was the perfect size with great appliances. It was so nice, we hated leaving! I highly recommend staying here the next time you are in Galveston!

We really liked this cozy home. It was very cute and super clean when we arrived. The beds were pretty comfortable, and that’s always important! The owner of the home, Andrew, contacted me to make sure we were doing ok, and to see if we needed anything. We really appreciated him taking the time to do that. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the gas grill to light, but other than that, we were very happy with our stay! My youngest son made the trip with us, and he really enjoyed the house as well. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

The home was clean with everything we needed for our stay. The offstreet parking was nice. We were driving a sports car which did drag some on the driveway access but it would be very good for higher profile vehicle's. The management was very responsive to all our concerns.

We just got back from our 4 day stay here. Owner Andrew was extremely nice and helpful for our stay. The property manager Nicole even gave us recommendations for Valentine's Dinner. This house looks even better in person. You can tell they put alot of effort to make their guests feel welcomed and safe. Loved the snacks they left. We don't drink wine but appreciated the gesture.Comfy living room, King bed was very nice and hot shower was a huge plus. This house is centrally located to all the attractions. We loved the Moody Gardens Aquarium/Rainforest,Train Musuem and walking The Strand.Thanks for making my 1st trip to Texas a great one. PS Loved the backstory of the cottage and the old picture.

This was such a great experience, the house was in the perfect location, right between the Seawall & down town. Beautiful is an understatement, the house really felt so homey & we were able to have a MUCH needed relaxing weekend. I will stay here anytime I travel to Galveston!

Beautiful, refurbished home built in 1901!! Every detail of the updating on this home was carefully thought out! So perfect! I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for five days with my 17 year old grandson. The beach is a mile a way, and there’s so many things to do while we stayed here. The fishing kept him busy every day at Seawolf Park! I can’t say enough about this place! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much to the owners for being such gracious hosts!

Really enjoyed our time at the Bacci cottage and everything that came with it, nicely renovated with a lot of great history. The kitchen was well equipped and had great appliances. The bathrooms and the bedrooms were very nice, and the living room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the location, very close to all activities, Mardi Gras bash, beach, golf, breweries and restaurants. Having the community garden next door was a great addition and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. Thank you again and look forward to coming back next year!

The home was beautiful and beyond charming. The home had wonderful outdoor space, both front and back. Such thoughtfulness in the kitchen offerings and toiletries, simply above and beyond. The kitchen was stocked with far past the basics and higher ended items, likewise, finding a toothbrush and toothpaste was a pleasant surprise and lush towels was also refreshing. The decor was beautiful!! Games were provided and I even enjoyed reading about Galveston in the books that were available. The location was awesome proximity to everything. I can't say enough about the host and management team. Very kind, responsive and very thoughtful. When talking to anyone, the first concern was always that we were comfortable. My daughter's senior prom was in Galveston. This was the perfect spot for her to get prepared. Everything we needed was provided. The place was super clean and so well decorated, and they literally thought of everything. A book was provided with all the needed info about the property. I had to call the manager once because the battery was low on the thermostat and I couldn't figure out how to change the temp. There was a before picture of the home as part of the decor, and they really did a great job restoring it. Snacks, coffee, creamer, bottled water, a bottle of wine, and spices were all provided. There was a nutra bullet and an air fryer, and board games.The only critique would be to provide more trash bags, paper towels, ans bath towels. I also couldn't find any laundry detergent to wash towels for reuse. There were gnats coming from the drain, so bleach would have been nice to pour down the drain. None of these would deter me from booking this property again. Love, Love, Love!

I am so glad we came across this cottage for our last minute stay in Galveston! The cottage was lovely: the decor is relaxing and unique, the snacks were a great surprise after driving all day and the included YouTubeTv was so convenient. The location was a short drive to everything we needed (we were in town for the Galveston Ironman 70.3 race) and there is a wonderful bakery/takeout place (Good Dough) about a 10 minute walk from the cottage. The beds and furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The owners and property managers were easy to reach and very helpful! We would definitely stay again!

My daughter's prom was in Galveston, and this little cottage was the perfect setting for her to get ready and prepare. Not far out like the other "beachhouses" we were considering, which relieved so much of my anxiety. Spotlessly Clean! Beautifully Decorated! Everything you can think of was provided including snacks, water, coffee (and flavored creamers), spices, a nutra bullet, air fryer, board games, hairstyling tools, bath products, toiletries, first aid stuff, etc. (I'm sure Im forgetting something). The yard was well manicured. Next door neighbor was very nice and welcoming, and shared info about the community garden. Beds were comfortble, and linens were good quality. Their was a pic of the home before it was restored, and the decore and design preserves the character without feeling like your in an old house, as there are many modern features. Thankfully there was a book with everything you need to know about the house, including how to work the thermostat. My only critique would be to provide more trash bags and paper towels, and laundry detergent, and bleach. There were gnats coming from the drain, so I had to buy some bleach to pour down the drain as I couldn't find any anywhere in the house. I would definitely rent this property again for a staycation on the island! Love, Love, Love!
My daughter's prom was in Galveston, and this little cottage was the perfect setting for her to get ready and prepare. Not far out like the other "beachhouses" we were considering, which relieved so much of my anxiety. Spotlessly Clean! Beautifully Decorated! Everything you can think of was provided including snacks, water, coffee (and flavored creamers), spices, a nutra bullet, air fryer, board games, hairstyling tools, bath products, toiletries, first aid stuff, etc. (I'm sure Im forgetting something). The yard was well manicured. Next door neighbor was very nice and welcoming, and shared info about the community garden. Beds were comfortble, and linens were good quality. Their was a pic of the home before it was restored, and the decore and design preserves the character without feeling like your in an old house, as there are many modern features. We had a fantastic experience. Everything was just as expected with even a couple of goodies left by the host. Beautiful home and excellent location with no problems at all. I highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage. The home is so clean & comfy. The owners left us some yummy snacks and the coffee bar was well stocked. Really special added touches that made us feel welcome & right at home. Location was wonderful, a few blocks from the beach, the other direction a few blocks from the Strand. We would certainly stay here again. Great week visiting the charming island of Galveston.
