Stayed 2 nights

I’m here on business and the WiFi is out and there is no urgency to get it back up. The manager doesn’t answer the phone. The couch is broken and the hallway is slippery. I have to beg for towels daily.

A few things that were an issue. One, our room had no electricity in the bathroom. Also, the AC unit rattles really bad in room 427. It kept me up all night. Also, there was a ton of people in the hallway late at night making a ton of noise which also kept us up. We have never had an issue with La Quinta and for the price point we always have praised it but this was a bad experience.

Stayed 1 night

checked in-room was being painted, got new room that reaked of cigerattes, requested another room that was dirty and stove was not working. Pool was disgusting! We got in and then we immediately got out to take a shower. Breakfast was not available due to water leak. It was literally raining in the lobby-I felt so bad for the employees. There were also a lot of homeless people in the lobby all of the time. The back door entrance could be opened without a key card. I felt very unsafe. People were running up and down the halls until at least 1am. This was not a pleasant stay at all.

Our truck was stolen from the hotel parking lot. When we told the staff, the ONLY thing they said was, “We can’t access the security camera footage.” Not “I’m so sorry that happened to you.”, or “How can we help?” Zero empathy. I assume it’s common occurrence from her response. We had to leave a day early to deal with the situation and when I told the staff we were leaving early, she argued with me that it wasn’t an early checkout since we were leaving after 12pm that day. No matter how many times I tried to explain that I wasn’t expecting a refund, I was simply letting them know we were leaving a day early to deal with the stolen truck. She continued to argue with me that I wasn’t checking out early. I finally just left and did the checkout online since she wouldn’t let me checkout.
