Very nice hotel. Room was what I expected. Very quiet in room. Beds were to hard for our liking. View was very nice. Only thing that was bad was the dining options. Breakfast was not good. They ran out of stuff on the buffet and the price is way to high. Then they charged gratuities to top it off, they never did anything to receive that. Also no towels at the pool and pool was very cold.

I booked This hotel because it advertised a rooftop bar with food and have some drinks at sunset. It is only open if you reserve it for a group meeting, or a work conference. “Pool side bar” was so so. No hot water in the room for shower. A/C didn’t work in the room. I’d suggest shopping around before booking here.

Very nice hotel Great room (we got the king size bed with the kitchen). Easy parking though we had to pay $30.00 per night. The gym was well equipped. Medium sized pool, not big enough to do laps.

We loved our stay at the SERENA. Gloria was especially helpful as we were uncertain about getting to Miami for our stay as we were in the Keys and the fires and frequent road closures were making things difficult. Everything from check it to addressing our needs was completely met! Superb hotel and fantastic pool are and fitness center!

Serena is a nice new hotel with quiet high-ceilinged guest rooms with the largest HDTV I've ever seen in a hotel. The beds w/4 pillows were very comfortable. A surprise attraction for me was a real 8' pool table on the pool deck area! Although missing the 6 ball it was quite playable. My two complaints about this facility are that the water in the shower is dangerously HOT if you're not careful, and the outdoor pool is NOT heated. Although being outdoors it does not get much direct sunshine to warm it, at least to my satisfaction.

We did not eat at the hotel. Room was clean, but could use a deep clean in the bathroom. Coffee maker was dirty, couldn't make hot water for tea. Staff was nice, but could have explained the parking garage a little cleaner. Parking garage was a major challenge in and out especially with a larger vehicle. Almost impossible. Overall, we will definitely stay there again.

I really liked the hotel, rooms are nice and spacious. But the housekeeping was terrible, ive never experienced anything like that. Kleenex finished, they weren’t replaced, also the hand towels.. i ordered some food delivery and the next day the bag with everything inside was still there.. i was looking for my kindle everywhere, i found it in the same place i left it under the pillow the night before, the bed was not even made, the sheet were just put there, the pillows where all crushed from the night before.. the sink in the bathroom had still my husbands hair and toothpaste.. it was horrible Hoping this gets better cause the hotel is very nice and accessible

We checked in around 11pm after a long day, looking forward to just getting some rest. Once we settled in and showered, we saw a small black bug scurry across the nightstand — it looked like a bed bug. Immediately, we packed everything up (itchy and paranoid at that point) and went down to the front desk. They were able to move us to another room, which we appreciated, but that one didn’t even have a shower door. The water took about four full minutes to get even lukewarm, so we stood there freezing with goosebumps the entire time. When we asked about any sort of compensation for the major inconvenience, the hotel said they’d have their pest inspection team come out. It was later determined that it was a “water bug,” not a bed bug — but regardless, the experience was extremely unsettling, and the hotel refused to provide any compensation. We also asked about the missing shower door and were told that any rooms ending in “17” simply don’t have them — which is pretty surprising for a Hilton property. The manager was polite, but ultimately took no accountability for the situation. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. If you do stay here, I strongly recommend checking your room carefully for bugs before settling in — and definitely avoid rooms ending in 17.

Checked in and key card didn’t work and had to go back down. Went to take a shower, no shampoo. Next day, garbages weren’t emptied, dirty coffee cup left in bathroom sink, and still no shampoo after we specifically asked for it. No soap or gel at sink.. had to use shower gel every time I needed to wash my hands. 20% gratuity added on for breakfast buffet. It was a buffet! I got my own plate, toasted my own toast, and poured my own coffee!

The room didn’t have a desk (I should have looked at the room photos) and there was not enough light in the room. The lights on each side of the king sized bed were controlled by a single switch, so it wasn’t possible to have one light on and one light off.

$200 a night for a tiny room, windows that don't open, no glasses in the room, $6 for a bottle of Fiji water, no comfy chair to sit in; only one light in the entire bedroom area, next to the bed; black out shade that was stuck in the track; no soap dish on the sink in the bathroom. Bed was too hard. Now for the plusses: Lavaza coffee in the room - delish. Breakfast included with my room was excellent. oh, sorry, $30 for parking too!

The AC in our room was stuck at 65 degrees and we could not get it warmer. Maintenance came and reset it but it was still broken. We had to sleep with sweatshirts and socks on. The front desk said they could not change our room due to the hotel being full. We should’ve at least gotten credited for our uncomfortable stay. We are from the Caribbean and we (myself, mom and my two young children) were completely miserable in our room each day.

Nice updated hotel. Remote control for tv was nasty obviously the housekeeper never even touched it. Room 611. Also music from the rooftop bar was very loud until a little after midnight

They did not have enough staff to clean the rooms. I needed to call several times. Calling to the main desk to ask a question or if I needed anything, no one would ever pick up the phone. Maybe they did not have enough staff.

Although breakfast said it was “included”, when it was time to enjoy it, staff basically took the plates out of our hands and told us it wasn’t included in our stay. How EMBARRASSING! Then, 10 minutes later, there was incessant knocking at our door (I thought it was staff apologizing about the incident), but nope, it was housekeeping asking when we were leaving! She kept asking when we were checking out so she could clean our room! She asked us 3 times! It was absolutely ABSURD and RUDE! We will never stay here again. When I complained at the front desk during checkout, he gave us complimentary parking, which was $32, I never knew parking cost in the first place!!! Unbelievable!

The service was extremely below part for a new Hilton line. Hotel was beautiful, but staff was horrible and communication between lobby and upstairs was non existent. Would not recommend if staying in the Aventura area. Thank you.

My first time at this property, the staff are friendly. The amenities are great for short term stays and business travel. The location is convenient to and from the Fort Lauder-dale airport, close to the beaches around north part of Miami, as well as to the Gulf Stream shopping center. I would stay there again. The building needs some paint job and maintenance in the common areas.

The hotel was very nice and clean, and the staff were very helpful. The location of the hotel is not great, it's around big boulevards and highways where there aren't many shops or restaurants. Nothing was exactly walking distance. Otherwise, the bar and outdoor lounge/pool area was really a great place to go relax.

The entrance to the hotel is hard to find—obscured by the massive hospital complex all around it. Poor signage at the entrance and not clear where to park. There is nothing in the immediate vicinity, besides the hospital. The room was clean and pleasant. Staff was friendly. Breakfast is not great (shabby offerings at buffet, bad self-serve coffee, slow service for ala carte) and there are no other options in the neighborhood for food. I would only stay here if I were visiting someone at this hospital, in which case it would be fine.

The hotel was really nice, looks new/updated, the staff was very friendly but the construction blocked the roads and made it difficult to get in and out. The beach is not "too" far but again with the construction it made it difficult to walk around. I would definitely stay again but would check to see if the construction was completed.

The room was checked in at about 7 or 8PM with early check out by 11. It blows my mind that a hotel that does not have all amenities at full disposal, with a parking garage that’s empty.. will charge nearly 15% of the room rate on parking. And given how new it is, the amenities aren’t available for long so everything closed so soon. Rooftop bar? Only for events.. art deco? Where? The room was well made, coffee $6 on top of ordering the additional breakfast. Oh and you check out at 11. But if you don’t eat breakfast before that and paid for it, they won’t refund you. Sounds so dumb to not refund a customer who didn’t use a service and created no waste.

We chose this hotel per the suggestion of a friend. We were in the area for a plastic surgery procedure so we wanted to be close to the doctor’s office. The hotel is a very nice in a location that is central to everything. Be prepared to be stuck in traffic, especially when exiting the hotel. The hotel has a parking garage with a weird exit, due to the cement block in the center it looks like you will always hit the block. The hotel staff is was great, they answered all our questions and the bar tenders made some good drinks. Be prepared to pay a min of $20 just for a cocktail.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely helpful, rooms were spacious enough for 6 (size of my family), and the beds were extremely comfortable. Given the cost though I would have expected a complimentary breakfast, and the continental breakfast offered for $15 looked substandard. Parking is an additional fee and we were surprised to find that the elevators in the parking garage were not secure. By this I mean we didn't have to scan our room key in order to access the hotel or any of the levels that had hotel rooms. It was simple - press a button and up you go. This meat that basically anyone (guest or intruder) could access the hotel and it's rooms from the parking garage - no access key needed. Overall it was a good experience but wouldn't stay here again.

Overall this hotel provided a comfortable stay. I had a suite with full kitchen and the room was very accommodating. The staff left me with mixed feelings of customer service. Some were friendlier than others and this applied to front desk as well as the cielo bar. the food was a bit of a hit and miss however i did enjoy the majority of offerings especially a really well prepared steak on my last days stay there. I liked the aspect of parking my vehicle and being able to take an elevator directly to my floor from the garage. I didnt get an opportunity to try the roof top bar as that was only available on weekends as told by staff. Overall a good stay however i expect better more attentive staff at this resort
