Waterfront condo with bay views & shared gym - dog

As advertised. Comfortable for me and my two teen daughters. Nice walking distance to shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed the indoor heated pool.

A great little gem of an apartment overlooking the harbor. Seals barking in the background. Sunsets and sunrises over the bridge. Gym. Pool. Sauna. Hot tub. Almost perfect- only two things to improve on: someone had signed out of all of the streaming platforms, so the TV was not really usable. The cookware was in rough shape, some of the baking sheets were covered in rust. Once you fix those two items, it’s a 10 out of 10 for me.

Stayed 3 nights. The unit was fairly clean and warm with a nice view. Enjoyed various amenities in the resort: pool, hot tub in raining (awesome!), woodfire (free 1-pack of woods each night upon request). It was also in a good location to walk/jog around.

My family loved the facilities. We swam in the super warm pool. It was a treat to be able to see the seals from our balcony in the harbor. More than likely will stay again when more family comes to visit.

The location, view, and washer dryer in condo were the saving grace on this listing. We did not get to use the pool, hot tub, or spa. We made the reservation back in December but were only notified two weeks prior to our arrival that they were going to be closed during our stay. I did complain as we choose this property for those amenities as we were taking our grandchildren and now way too late to find another property, they refunded us 100 for the inconvenience. Overall the condo itself was a bit disappointing there was debris when I went to pulled out the bed in the couch and no sheets had been provided. We got 1 washcloth, 2 hand towels, 3 bath towels, and 2 pool towels. The next day when I called to inquire about sheets and washcloths they did drop them off however keep in mind the property was expecting 5 guests this wasn't some surprise we would need these items. There were huge lint balls in the laundry on the floor. The bed in master room was flat, and squeaked with every move. There were numerous stains on the floor in the master bedroom and the comforter on the bed had a huge rip in it. Also the kitchen is very sparsely stocked. Although listing says it accommodates 6 there was only enough mugs and cereal bowls for 3 people. Also think salt, pepper, garlic salt, and steak seasoning. The bathroom door doesn't close fully and I guess no matter how many guests or how long the stay you only are provided 2 additional rolls of toilet paper. Both ottomens stained.

The view was great and the sauna was amazing. I’d stay again if they got new mattresses, I ended up sleeping on the floor because it was more comfortable

Not super overpriced... the wifi was way to slow to stream on the tv and the keys to the pool and rec area didnt work, but very nice views and central location.

Great location! We loved sitting on the porch and watching the marina. Unfortunately, the bathroom door was broken which made it a bit uncomfortable for our family of 4. Maintenance came to check it out and said it cannot be fixed without renovation…we didn’t want to stay in a construction site so we said no. We stayed for a full week and cooked all of our meals in the kitchen. This is NOT a chefs kitchen. It was not well equipped. The pans and utensils were very cheap and difficult to cook with. I even went to the store and purchased a blender for us to use that we took home with us. The mattress was way too soft and gave both my spouse and I horrible neck and back by night 2.The condo Nextdoor was having major renovations done all week. Obviously, this is out of the owners control but it definitely disrupted the peaceful trip we were hoping for. Lastly, the pool was a great time for the kids. However, it recently got refinished and the sides were super scratchy. The kids came back with bloody feet each night…thank goodness the condo had a washer, dryer, and first aid kit.

Broken bathroom door with a curtain in its place and the pool was closed for renovations. Popcorn under the sofa and dirty cushions. No coffee and no warning to bring our own. Weird smell.

It was not too clean..dishes left in dishwasher. Bathroom toilet makes noise and hard to flush..black mold around tub. 1 pan was gr needscupdatedeasy in cupboard. Dirt on wall of stove..i cleaned.

The place was cute, but it definitely needs some improvements. The bathroom and toilet doors were extremely frustrating to use, especially the toilet door—it was almost impossible to slide without a struggle. The kitchen knives were so dull I couldn’t even slice raw chicken. The WiFi was basically non-existent; it worked for a few minutes when we arrived and then wouldn’t connect, or the quality was so low it was unusable. The unit was pretty clean on arrival, but when we moved the furniture to pull out the couch bed, there were several carpet stains—not a major issue, but noticeable. We tried to vacuum before leaving, but the vacuum barely worked. The most frustrating problem was the breaker for the kitchen and living room tripping four times during our stay. We had nothing extra plugged in, but using the coffee pot or toaster and the microwave while the TV was on caused issues, so we had to limit what we used at one time. There were plenty of blankets and pillows, which was nice. However, a large metal pot we wanted to use was rusted on the bottom. The unit did have plenty of soaps—dish, dishwasher, laundry, hand, and shower. Overall, while there were many good things about the property, the number of problems we encountered means we probably wouldn’t stay again and would instead book directly through Embarcadero. We stay there often and have never had complaints, so it was disappointing not to have the experience we’re used to.

The unit was clean and comfortable. There was central heating and also individual heating elements. The only issue was that the bathroom door could not be closed completely. The location was great within minutes from all shopping, restaurants, and Bayfront.

Mold, dirty, broke washer & dryer, clogged sink & shower….Whoever took the pictures of this place deserve a raise. Somehow they managed to make it look 10 time better than it is. To start at 4pm check in the cleaners were still there and needed an extra 45-1 hour . Seriously? I called Vacasa and asked for a late checkout which they agreed. However we couldn’t use it because once we checked in we found black mold. This was honestly the most disheartening. The manager offered to have someone come and clean it,\r However properly cleaning black mold takes some precautions and I wanted less exposure and didn’t want them just be scrubbing mold with a sponge with my kids present. The cleaners may need a lesson in how to clean— food chunks/ crumbs on carpet, floors, tables and in drawers. They did comp the cleaning fee which was appropriate.\r Honestly, it felt like glorified camping. We booked only a couple weeks out so got a good deal. I read through the previous reviews and the things that people had issues with Vacasa claimed to have fixed or were in the process of fixing well over a year ago. However, upon arrival those things were in fact not addressed or fixed. There is also a HUGE health issue of black mold throughout. Not okay! The door to the bathroom doesn’t close completely - Management commented in April 2021 that a “new accordion door was ordered and the pocket door was functioning.” It was not. The sink, and the shower were so clogged you were standing in a disgusting amount of water. We resorted to showing down at the pool area. Like I said, it felt like a campground. May 2021 the sink drain was supposedly addressed— yet the issue is still present. \r The washer and dryer were not functioning, which was a HUGE bummer. I chose this unit because it had a washer and dryer . According to management in Feb 2021 they commented that a new washer and dryer were ordered. Another lie? \r The bedding was absolutely disgusting- visibly dirty and gross. The kitchen is poorly stocked and the pans I did pull out needed to be re washed. I’ve stayed in lots of vacation rentals and this one was by far the worst experience. \r Pros: awesome location, pool & gym area were newly remodeled and great.

It was a great location and cute place but it needs more cleaning. The floor in the kitchen was so sticky my shoe made gross sounds when picked up off the floor. The bathroom was missing a tile in the shower. One of the closets had spider webs in it. When wiping off the bathroom floor from water the white towel turned dark brown. The pool was shut down for maintenance for a few months and would have been nice to know before the stay. Overall it did have great views and it was a nice location but like I said above just needs a little TLC.

Easy check in, amazing views. Livingroom carpet very dirty, kitchen supplies should be updated but worked. Pull out bed was awful and should be replaced. I tried to contact somone multiple times asking for another key card and nobody knew how i could recieve one after going to the front dest and being on the phone with help like for 30 min, just to speak to somone who wasn't very clear due to speaking another language. I was never called back or recieved another key card. The internet also wouldnt connecnt to use netflix or the dvd player as well. Also, only two hangers to hang up things. The toilet area isn't very accommodating, cramped and doesn't close all the way.

The townhouse was in a good location. Unfortunately, it's in need of some updating and deep cleaning. The carpets were dirty, grease in the oven, paint worn, damage to woodwork, bathroom pocket door that doesn't work properly, and mattresses that were old and uncomfortable. Odd layout with the bathroom sink & vanity in an area wide open to the hallway. It depends on who you're traveling with as to whether or not it wouldve comfortable - lacks any privacy at the bathroom sink. The toilet & shower area are very compact, not a lot of room to dress in there. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this property nor would I rent it again.

Was super happy to have an actual kitchen to host a dinner for our parents who live in the area. View from the patio was amazing and everything was nice and quiet in the evenings. Don’t try using the TV to cast anything from your phone or to try and stream something on Netflix or Disney because you’ll get to the open credits and the app will crash. The internet in this place should be considered for an upgrade.

Beautiful condo, but some major flaws: 1. MOST IMPORTANT! Sliding Door dividing sink from toilet and bath was badly warped and could not close. Imagine spending days with NO PRIVACY, especially when entertaining guests! 2. Key pad would not work and we had to seek help late at night. 3. The quilt in the larger bedroom had a rip and the mattress had bloodstains. 4. The entry carpet was frayed, unraveling. Other than these flaws, the unit was lovely. Beautifully decorated. BUT THAT BATHROOM DOOR KIND OF RUINED THE WHOLE AMBIANCE!!!!! I really would like some compensation for putting up with the above flaws…

This was a great place. Perfect for our family of four. The bathroom door was the most disappointing thing in the whole condo. If needs to be replaced. But otherwise we absolutely enjoyed our stay.

I will say the view is beautiful. But here we go again with the pocket door for the bathroom, just get a contractor to fix it. We weren’t sure if the place was clean because it so out dated. Carpet was really dirty. The kitchen is lacking the things for cooking, toaster kinda works, electric mixer has 1 beater. No wash rags for the bathroom. Could be so much better.

We loved certain aspects of the rental, the view was amazing and the location was great. It was cute and cozy. We were disappointed that the accommodations are listed for 6 people, yet there were only 3 towels and not enough glassware for 6. I messaged Vacasa and within an hour, they delivered towels, new wine glasses, drinking glasses & coffee mugs. That was extremely kind & saved our opinion of the rental. The unit could have been cleaner. All the handles in the kitchen were sticky, the shelves were dusty, and the shower doesn’t drain which is gross. The bathroom door is broken, so privacy was hard. But overall, we were content. The view is worth it!!

It was a good stay for sure but privacy for the restroom wasnt ideal. Door is janky. Beds are very uncomfortable. Thin and sunken in. It definitely gets the job done for a short stay. Kids loved the pool area of course. Easy check in and nice location close walk to the bay front and drive to other beaches near by. Overall we enjoyed our stay but wouldn't rebook for this place in particular especially with a family.

We have stayed at this property a few times and we keep coming back because it fits our needs perfectly. Good location + kitchen + two bedrooms + washer and dryer … all “must haves” when you have a 3 and a 5 year old. \r \r This time we arrived to find an “out of order” note on the washer and dryer. Would have been nice to know in advance so we can pack accordingly. Then we discovered the bath tub is not draining properly. Contacted Vacasa and got a reply the same day saying they will alert the local team, but I never heard back until after we checked out . I had to go to the store and buy Drano so we can shower. \r \r I’m disappointed with Vacasa’s customer service lately. This is a second trip in a row that we have run into issues and no one is available to help. I think it’s time to look at other options.

The property is not ready done cleaning when we check in 4:00 . We are waiting little bit , when is done . Also, 10:00 AM is early . We rushing for check out . But the property is very good . We have good weekends!

This was a cute place to stay, but it’s rented out via a company and not a person through VRBO. Because of the way the other company operates, it made it more challenging when we needed assistance. Once we were able to actually connect with the other company, they we good to work with.

Perfect location for crabbing! The private dock was great and so were the pots to cook it down there. The rooms were fine, the fireplace was nice to have! Would definitely rent again!

It was walking distance into town.

This was our first visit to Newport and we had an excellent time. The view from the condo is stunning and it is located close to the harbor downtown area.

Parking was great, but there are stairs on the way to the condo so it isn't completely accessible. The view of the bay is incredible. We came for a relaxing birthday weekend; we listened to the rain outside, watched tv, walked to the historic bayfront for coffee, and even made a cake. I would love to stay here again.

Close to the docks

Clean, no odor, great view, everything we needed for a great stay, even has Netflix access. Within walking distance of the New Port Bay. Was not disappointed.

Lovely view, within a short walk to restaurants. Very cozy.
