One block to the ocean & Nye Beach Sunny home with

We enjoyed our stay very much. The living room and dining room were plenty big for the seven of us. And there was a view of the ocean between houses--and it happened to be right where we could see the sun set, which was nice. The kitchen was well-stocked and even had a few staples--although a 12-inch frying pan would have been nice. Beds were comfortable and showers good. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were quite nice. The downstairs bedrooms had double doors that did not open and close easily, but they were okay. The downstairs bathroom was small, but functional. We had a problem the first morning after breakfast. We smelled gas in the kitchen, but the burners on the gas stove all pointed to off. I texted the office, and someone came out within a few minutes. He said one burner had a knob that was bent and so we had to turn it past Off to actually turn it off. We were impressed with how quickly they dealt with the issue. Communication was excellent throughout. The house is on a steep little hill, so we got our exercise returning from the beach. But it was a short walk to the ocean, and we also enjoyed walking around the Nye Beach area. We do recommend this house.

Excellent space for a family to stay. Lots of room and fun games available. Nice location. Comfy beds and over all just a really nice place to stay.

Down stairs great area for kids , beds comfy. Kitchen small and bring own large pans for cooking. Great communication Front room furniture broke down Too early of check out and too late check in. You have to pay a full day when you can’t check in till 4 And have to be out by 10.

The property was perfectly located. It was fun with the foosball, games/puzzles, and all. The only complaints were about the bed and linens being uncomfortable in the main bedroom and the kitchen. The nonstick pans were a bit beat up but what made it difficult to cook was there was no cooking oil. Overall, we really liked the property, though, and have a favorable and positive view towards our stay.

Location was great, walk to beach and great eating places. Kitchen was well stocked and nice amount of counter space. House was very comfortable- a home away from home.

As soon as we walked in the house it felt like home. Had everything we needed and things we did not know we needed. The lay out of the home was perfect and will be perfect when we come back with a few more family members. The location is perfect walking distance from the ocean, restaurants and shops. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Proximity to the ocean, shops, and the absence of noise and traffic on this treet. It was great to enjoy a morning coffee with the sound of the waves and the two neighborhood cats that checked in with us every morning. Having an Irish Pub a half a block away was great also. Our kids enjoyed the foosball and there was ample space for everyone.

I loved that it was close to the beach and shops. It was mostly clean and convenient for a family. Heaters in bathrooms were nice. Tall people will be comfortable in the showers. Lots of empty cabinet space in kitchen.

I could not have been happier with the home. It was very well maintained and clean. It had all the kitchen items I needed, and the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The bathrooms were well stocked and clean. We loved being able to walk to the ocean from the home. It is a great location for walking to restaurants and other locations, as well. We will be returning to this home in the future!

Location is plus plus. This was our 4th year in the same house and it was the cleanest ever. Very responsive local support team. Everything was in good working order house is well equipped and furnished.

We love this home and location. We will be back next year. It is just blocks away from the beach. However, we were a little disappointed in the cleanliness. Did not seem like there was much care this year in the cleaning.

This home can accommodate several, so it felt unnecessarily large for the 2 of us. The living room furniture is well worn and there’s a thick unattractive tablecloth on the dining table. The place was clean but we had to wait an extra hour to get inside as cleaning was still in process. Due to this situation, we were notified that we could check out at 11 am instead of 10. However, the next cleaning person apparently hadn’t been told so arrived close to 10. Considering the extra fees we are charged for cleaning and VRBO, I was disappointed. We were comfortable and did enjoy our stay in Newport.

The cottage was located in the best location and superseded my expectations. It’s in great condition and really well maintained and had everything you need.

Our family loved our stay at this cute place by the coast. The view out the front window was great as you could see the waves crashing on the beach. The beds, blankets and pillows were so comfortable (and we have high standards!). We enjoyed the back yard on the one non rainy day we had. The little town was nice and close for walking. We enjoyed a couple of restaurants and even went for a swim at the pool down the road. My family was impressed with my choice. Thanks!

This was the second time that we stayed here. We enjoyed it both times. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that furniture is in need of replacement. We find this with so many vacation rentals the longer your stay is the more time you spend relaxing at the home. The chase lounge was worn out where we stayed two years ago. It is still there and now the springs are poking up into your rear end.

Only a couple blocks from Nye Beach shops and beach walks. The grocery store is also just a short walk away. We had plenty of space for our relaxing girls trip. We are hoping they invest in some new living room furniture and a couple mall appliances that need some love.

I could not have been happier with the home. It was very well maintained and clean. It had all the kitchen items I needed, and the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable.
