This place has lots of mixed reviews, but not sure why. Staff excellent, room incredibly comfortable, best hotel shower ever. Close to most everything and quiet (request pool side room). The only issue was there was only 1 elevator for a fully booked hotel…. Will definitely come back!!!

Arrived later than expected but no issues with checking in , a valet would have been nice as we had lots of luggage to get from the car and valet parking was $32 so at least help getting luggage out . Hotel & room clean , good rooftop bar, pool small but cooled us down . Fabulous location with views of the Mississippi

The hotel was nice as was our room. It was clean, the A/C worked well and the staff was pleasant. My biggest concern was the parking/check-in process. To say there’s a place to park to unload luggage and check in is a complete exaggeration. I had to circle the block a few times and then ended up parking in the street to unload luggage. Clearly short-sighted for a Hyatt property. Valet staff was pleasant and efficient, though. Room service was funny. Don’t know expect a rolling cart with expensive food under food covers. You get food in a paper bag delivered as though UberEats just dropped it off. I assure you, ordering through a delivery service would provide better quality food at a more reasonable price. Should I visit Memphis again, I’ll do better homework about the hotel.

Very very clean and response to request for additional towels less than 10 minutes. Shower very nice. You dont wait forever for hot water! It also has the rain shower feature that doesnt spray ice water on you. The only negative was checking out and the front desk employee just gave me a dismissive look and looked away. We had a 5am flight so our check out was 3am. Ive worked night shift and know sometimes you have to smile even when you dont feel like it. The roof top bar was GREAT! Dont get muffins at grab and go they are stale. Breakfast in the hotel was great. The majority of people frim the area we interacted with were kind and very polite.

The Hyatt Centric Beale Street is very nice: clean, modern, comfortable, and located just one block from the "main" part of Beale Street. If you choose to use an independent parking garage, there is one located kitty-corner. The pool is nice with sufficient amount of seating (at least for the time period we were there). The dining staff were super friendly and attentive. The registration staff were cordial but when we reported a couple of minor issues to them, they responded politely but seemed not to care. We visited the rooftop bar one evening, hoping just to relax outside in the warm weather and enjoy the view; after 20 minutes we left because no server came outside to actually clear off/clean tables or take an order. In spite of those minor annoyances, would still recommend this as a great place to stay.

The valets were very friendly. Unfortunately the floor of our room was filthy, most notable in the bathroom area around the toilet. The front desk attendand was so soft spoken and not very easily understood so wasnt very helpful. Roof top bar was ok, over rated.

I was supposed to have a king but the Pacers were staying there and I got switched to a double. The floors were LVT which is gross walking around on - and the room above me had someone who dropped stuff continuously the first night and then was in a fight - it sounded like they were throwing things as well as each other - she was crying etc- I called the front desk and they said they would send security but I don’t think they ever did- needless to say sleep was not had - also the front desk told me the rooftop was open every night 5-11 but it was closed on the night I could go up which was a Sunday.

The Hotel was absolutely awesome. Very nice, clean, and new. Had a great view of the Mississippi river from the room. The bed for me was a little uncomfortable, but otherwise ZERO complaints!

Easy walk to everything on Beale but the room was really great….motion lighting under the bed so you don’t get lost at night, huge TV, separate toilet from sink and separate shower (never seen that before). Overall one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in

Went to check in at 4pm, the stated check in time, and our room was “Not quite ready, should be 30-45 minutes.” That 30-45 minutes turned into 3 hours. Only compensation we were offered was ONE free drink valued at $17 or less. Could only provide one hotel key. Room service is only available until 10pm despite the multiple stickers/flyers stating 11pm.

The worst experience ever… The LA Lakers were staying here and no rooms were available at 4pm check in… you should have seen the line of angry customers trying to get into their rooms! I’ll post photos of the lobby. All they were worried about was whether someone was taking photos or videos while the players were going out to their bus. And threatened everyone that they would have to leave if they did!! I booked 4 rooms.Checked in at 3pm and didn’t get into our room until after 6pm. 3 hours later. All they would compensate was 2 free drink tickets which is an insult considering I spent $1500 on 4 rooms. The worst professionalism and snooty attitudes I’ve ever experienced. If Hyatt or anyone they are affiliated with ever sees my business again call Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. I’d get better service at a Motel 6.. Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!

This hotel is the perfext location if you want to be on Beale street. The staff was nice and very helpful. The room was clean well. My first issue was my sign was on my door to do not disturb but the cleaning person came in anyway. Then the power went out in the hotel and oce the power came back on our TV was not working. I called down for assistance but no one never show up. I had to call back to the front desk and the desk person had to walk through unplugging the TV to get it back working. Lastly the person that I had spoken to the day before called the next day about getting the Tv working.

It was within walking distance from the restaurants, bars and shops on Beale street. The staff was amazing. They were all super friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The beds are extremely comfortable. My only negative is the noise.The rooms are not very sound proof and there was a lot of street noise and the other doors slamming or people in the hall can be heard quite loudly in your room so if your a light sleeper this might not be a good choice.

The hotel was nice but noticed the pool looked quite dirty. Room was good and was able to walk over to Beale street which was pretty cool. I was terribly disappointed the morning we left as we went to the little cafe and after purchasing food there we noticed that the yogurt parfait our littles got had moldly fruit. We talked to the girl at the counter and she tried to give us different ones but those had mold too! She said she would refund and then got manager to refund. However, it never credited to my account so i was never refunded. Made the whole experience just awful!

The one issue was the inventory at the CIMAS store. Thet were out of a number of snack items and beverages. The Rooftop Bar Server did not advise us of the cost of the drinks, and we were surprised by the price, $60 per drink!

Lobby bar was slow. Only option to eat with the family was in the lobby on small tables and lounge chairs. Kids not allowed on rooftop restaurant and bar. Room service was worst part. Over an hour and a half wait for food and ended up canceling because they apparently didn't have my order. Made several follow up calls with no answer and no return calls to room. Terrible experience.

Hotel was really clean and well looked after. Nice decor. Good room facilities including hairdryer, iron/ironing board and coffee maker. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. It's a shame the restaurant is run separately to the main hotel. Food was excellent but a little pricey. Overall a good choice for convenience to Beale Street and bars. Would recommend.

Coffee bar doesn’t open until 6am which is strange to me. Staff had multiple requests from customers to get coffee service started but she refused to stop stocking the pastry cabinet and help those waiting. I had been sitting at the bar working for half an hour had to leave before she showed any interest in serving anyone. Pool, gym, patio and rooms were very nice. Short walk to Beale St scene which was very cool

We loved our stay at the Hyatt Centric in Memphis. The property was very clean, the rooms modern and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We had drinks and food at the hotel bar several times. The food and drinks were good, although wine choices were somewhat limited.
