Es un lugar muy tranquilo, frente a la laguna el chico de recepción fue muy atento desde que llegamos. En el mismo hotel te ofrecen tours que salen desde su propio muelle lo que hace que no tengas que trasladarte a otra sona. Sus desayunos son lo básico fruta, huevito al gusto y cafe o jugo. Pero esta rico. El hotel esta a 4 cuadras de el centro de Bacalar lo que lo hacer muy accesible para salir a caminar o buscar algo rico para comer.

Deberían hacer lo siguiente 1. Poner mini refrigeradores por cada habitación porque quienes compran bebidas no tienen donde ponerlas 2. Poner routers por cada habitación para que llegue a la misma velocidad y no todo esté en la recepción 3. Tener cuidado con la limpieza porque el primer día encontré restos de sangre y en mi último día encontré varias hormigas y hasta una rana. 4. Poner una mesa en la habitación, para tener mejor movilidad

La habitación limpia, pero las cortinas con moho en la puerta, por la humedad. De pronto un poco de aroma feo en el baño. Esas almohadas decorativas con lazo, no creo que se laven fácilmente y provocan un poco de alergia. Pero en general.todo bien, cómodo y lindo.

Hace falta dar mantenimiento a las cabañas y cuidar la limpieza. La alberca no es funcional, no es alberca, en todo caso sería mejor convertirlo en jacuzzi. La atención es muy buena.

Todo nos pareció genial. Un ambiente muy agradable. Una vista preciosa. Solo cambiaría el Baño. Tenía un olor algo desagradable. Es lo único que nos pareció que no encajaba con el lugar. Todo lo demás muy bonito y cómodo.

Walls are so thin you hear everything loudly. Dock is so short you would be swimming among the reeds if you got into the water. Only 2 restaurants nearby for dinner; the main part of town is a 25 min walk away.

Une dizaine de conteneurs sont alignés pour créer les hébergements. Ca manque un peu de confort et d’espace dans la chambre. Mais ça reste ok pour une ou deux nuits.

Vanwege het uitzicht kozen we voor een bungalow. Het uitzicht was inderdaad prachtig, maar de stoeltjes op het balkon waren zeer oncomfortabel. Aan het uiteinde van de pier stonden wel een paar ligbedden. De wifi in het huisje was ronduit slecht, voor wifi moest je naar het hoofdgebouw. Er was weinig kastruimte, alleen een rek met een paar hangers. Koelkastje en kluisje ontbraken ook. Het (overigens vriendelijke) personeel sprak nauwelijks Engels. De tweede nacht was er extreem veel geluidsoverlast; in naastgelegen restaurant/bar werd tot diep in de nacht keiharde muziek gedraaid. Daar kan de hoteleigenaar natuurlijk weinig aan doen, echter door de gebrekkige isolatie (rieten dak) klonk de muziek binnen net zo hard als buiten. In het hoofdgebouw was de overlast aanzienlijk minder. Gelukkig wilden de portier en een medewerkster die achter de receptie lag te slapen, ons wel helpen. Ze liepen mee naar het restaurant, maar de paar aanwezige dronken gasten wilden de muziek niet zachter zetten. De medewerkers hebben de politie gebeld en deze opgewacht. Om 3 uur 's nachts was het eindelijk stil, met dank aan de hulp van de medewerkers.

It was ok - exactly as posted, however the hot water in the shower lasted less than 10 minutes regardless of the time of day. Lots of water pressure and the mattress was very good to sleep on. Pictures made room and bathroom appear much larger than they actually were.

La cercania con los lugares importantes lo puedes hacer a pie, area muy tranquila, el muelle dentro de la propiedad, muy bonita casa. Lo que no me gusto, no funcionaba correctamente el AC y al parecer ya lo habian reportado otros huespedes y no se atendio correctamente, no tiene frigobar y cuando viajas con ninos es importante tenerles que tomar/comer. la hora del desayuno es de 8:00-11:00 y el unico dia que quisimos desayunar bajamos 10:45 am y nos dijeron que ya no se podia, que era muy tarde; no hay caja de seguridad y cometios el error de dejar (escondida) la cartera ya que ibamos a un tour y se nos perdieron $450 dolares; ni mas pobre ni mas rico por esa perdida pero si fue un sentimiento de tristeza que te toman cosas sin avisar donde tu piensas estan seguras tus cosas, quiza una caja fuerte puede evitar esto.

Very nice place at the lake. The room (a junior suite) was kind of nice but very impractical: there were no closets or drawers to put the clothes and other stuff into, no desk or chairs in the room, there was no internet in the room and even in the main building it was very slow, the TV had no TV channels and there were ants in our room.

Es una casa bonita muy bien ubicada cerca del centro y frente al lago. Sin embargo hay algunas cosas a tomar en cuenta: al registro no había nadie am la recepción tuvimos bajé esperar al rededor de 20 minutos a que se presentara alguien. Incluye desayuno pero debes esperar más o menos 1 hora para que te sea servido porque solo está una señora para hacerlo y no tiene la mejor actitud de servicio. Adicional a detalles como que no nos cambiaban las toallas o no había ropa de cama adicional por el clima frío.
Es una casa bonita muy bien ubicada cerca del centro y frente al lago. Sin embargo hay algunas cosas a tomar en cuenta: al registro no había nadie am la recepción tuvimos bajé esperar al rededor de 20 minutos a que se presentara alguien. Incluye desayuno pero debes esperar más o menos 1 hora para que te sea servido porque solo está una señora para hacerlo y no tiene la mejor actitud de servicio. Adicional a detalles como que no nos cambiaban las toallas o no había ropa de cama adicional por el clima frío.

Lugar pésimamente atendido. Tenías que pedir por favor que te asearan la habitación y si no lo pedías no la limpiaban; la cocinera te tiraba el desayuno paupérrimo ( insuficiente hasta para los niños ) … todo muy mal tenido , me sentí estafada

Solo que no hay mucha atención en cuanto a clientes escandalosos nos tocaron unos pochos escandalosos y fui a avisar a recepción para que les dijeran algo ya que con sus gritos y risas de cantina no dejaban descansar y me dijeron que no los podían calllar ni hablar con ellos Deben de tener consideraciones para estos casos ya que uno va a descansar

We had a wonderful stay for three nights. The ambience was stunning. Location perfect with a great restaurant across the road. Staff were kind and helpful. Easy and fast check in. El Lugar es hermoso , los cuartos las amenidades súper bien , lo que es ESPANTOSO es la cocinera , muy mala cara mal servicio te hace sentir verdaderamente como apestado, es la cocinera de domingo , la del sábado muy linda . Walls are so thin you hear everything loudly. Dock is so short you would be swimming among the reeds if you got into the water. Only 2 restaurants nearby for dinner; the main part of town is a 25 min walk away.

Great location, walking distance to town. José was very helpful with any activities we wanted to do. If internet is big for your trip then this place is not for you. In some rooms it’s real bad. The lagoon is really amazing and the weather was Perfect.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est son point fort. L’accès y est direct sur la lagune et l’hôtel est situé près du centre. Pour l’hébergement, il s’agit de conteneurs aménagés en chambre. Es un lugar muy tranquilo, frente a la laguna el chico de recepción fue muy atento desde que llegamos. En el mismo hotel te ofrecen tours que salen desde su propio muelle lo que hace que no tengas que trasladarte a otra sona. Sus desayunos son lo básico fruta, huevito al gusto y cafe o jugo. Pero esta rico. El hotel esta a 4 cuadras de el centro de Bacalar lo que lo hacer muy accesible para salir a caminar o buscar algo rico para comer.

We had a wonderful stay for three nights. The ambience was stunning. Location perfect with a great restaurant across the road. Staff were kind and helpful. Easy and fast check in. The location of this property cannot be beat. You’re right on the water, and a short walk to anything and everything. The staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was good. Parking is very limited and a tight squeeze, but you don’t want to park on the road or your car will likely be dinged in the night. My main complaint about this property is the mold/mildew in the cabana we stayed in. The smell was so strong, it hits you as soon as the door is open. It was so bad that my throat and eyes were burning by morning. I think one of the big issues is that they need screens on their doors and windows, so air can get in. The mosquitos are so bad that you have to keep everything closed. I think screens would really help, and you wouldn’t have to constantly run the AC. We only stayed for two nights, but I wouldn’t have been able to stay any longer. After leaving my bags and clothes all smelled horribly of mildew.

Our room had a (shared) walk-out balcony with view of trees and lake. Free breakfast was simple, but nice. Location is only ~6 blocks to the fort and the main town square, which has lovely dining options. The square itself is alive with townsfolk in the evening. Feels more like a real Mexican town than most tourist destinations along the coast. Lovely.

The place is beautiful and the hotel is just like in the pictures. It's a very peaceful place with an incredible environment. Additionally, in the center, there are very good restaurants and games for the kids in the square. The only thing I would improve is the breakfast. There were only eggs (scrambled or omelet) and coffee. I would add some toast, butter, cereals, yogurt, etc.

Decent for the money, but it’s across the street from a nightclub that even from the farthest away hut you could hear the loud music all the way till 2:00 AM the next morning. Therefore in general I’d probably wouldn’t stay there again even as pretty of a beach view with lake it has.
