There was a thin comforter/ quilt folded on the bed. It was visibly soiled. There were people talking loudly in the common area at around 2:30am. In the future, I'll pay more for a place closer to the airport.

Quiet, clean, comfortable, secure room. We were there less than 10 hours. Just needed a place to sleep after a long, annoying flight from the east coast and arrived around 9:30pm in the rain. No problems getting in. It looked like there was a common area with a kitchen, but all we wanted was sleep. It was blessedly quiet, there was an AC unit that we ran for a few minutes to cool the space down. The bed was comfortable and the shower clean and functional. Would definitely recommend for a night or two layover in Seattle. The only thing that was unclear was I booked through hotels.com and thought it was a hotel, but it’s a few rooms in a townhouse-like set up, which is fine, but it was a little bit hard to find it after dark. The owner/representative was very communicative, and pleasant.

Let me start out by saying that the property is in a great neighborhood, central to everything I wanted to see and do in the Capitol Hill area, safe, and quiet. The room was clean, bed was super comfortable, portable AC worked great, coffee maker and fridge a plus, and wifi worked great. However, I do have some complaints unfortunately. The property uses electronic key pads to access the rooms which you get a code for on the day of checkin. My keypad didnt work. When I arrived the door was already unlocked but no matter how many times I tried the keypad and button to lock the door both on outside and inside nothing would happen. Which left me stuck in the room to watch my things since I couldn't go anywhere and risk leaving them unprotected in the room or my car. I messaged the property for over 35 minutes (all the while only chatting with an AI bot and never a human) before the bot finally told me the code for the lockbox in the hallway that had a physical key I could use to lock the door. This was an extemely infuriating and frustrating experience. Human contact is important in the service industry setting, especially in hospitality. There should have been some code word for me to just talk to a real front desk type person. I also felt the $45 mandatory cleaning fee charged after I had paid for the room felt deceptive. Just factor that into the overhead. If youre gonna run a hotel, factor that cost into the overall price; don't hit people with it after they've paid.

The true test of a good property is how management responds to problems when they arise. This unit had a problem with the digital lock system for entry. Owner responded immediately to a call and had in place a backup system that worked perfectly. Clean bright location close to bus lines to explore the city. Would recommend this property for singles or couples
