My opinion if I'm paying for a meal it should be delivered to room, 32 dollar for two people. Most rooms offer free breakfast. Also the bar that's upstairs why can't you smoke outside, I seen alot of people up there wondering why,

Property was great but not happy paying $15.00 parking fee for 2 cars. Those cost should be in the search description so I can equally compare these type locations with those not charging extra fees. That extra $30 push the cost over what I wanted to spend for the one night.

The hotel was very clean and nice. The staff was nice and knowledgeable. The best part was the safety…you need a key card for the elevator to move to any floor. I would love to stay here again!!

Very very clean, looks brand new. Love that there is no carpet in room. Comfortable beds. Cons- I didn’t like that there is not a regular door to the bathroom. It is a heaving sliding glass door, which is not easy to close. Also, driving up to the hotel it is not clear where the entrance is. There is not a covered area to drive and unload your luggage. Not until I called did the guy come out and told us where to park and that there was a covered parking BEHIND the building, we had no idea. Other than that, service was great.

Property has Marriott name but does not have “look and feel” of a Marriott. Decor was cold and spartan, overall look of the room was industrial. Mattresses were thin and one of the queen mattresses had a curve or a dip in the center of the bed. Place was very clean but was our room was not serviced one day (we stayed two nights)…the beds were not made, new towels were not provided, trash was not removed. The bar in the lobby was a nice place to relax before going out but the unhappy bartender put a damper on our spirits. Each floor had a water station to refill water bottles (with ice too) which was a nice touch. Front desk staff were pleasant and professional. Breakfast was not included, parking was behind the hotel and readily available. Next time I would stay elsewhere, cross over Lurleen Wallace Boulevard, and on University Boulevard, west of Avenue Pub. I expected more of this property with the Marriott name and also because it is relatively new.

First, I want to say the staff at the AC are always amazing, super polite and helpful. I have stayed at this location multiple times. However, this experience was extremely disappointing. The elevators were completely down for well over a day. While taking the stairs was not an inconvenience for me, it would be horrible for someone who was handicapped. The carpets in the hallway (3rd floor) were disgusting. Completed stained and smelly. This location needs some help….

The hotel is newer and looks great. I enjoyed the solid floors and comfortable beds & pillows. The room had slight cleanliness issues but nothing I couldn't look past for a night; dusty, dirt stained shower floor, no ice bag in the first room and no glasses in the second. The trash near the elevator smelled rotten and the ice had a terrible taste. We had to switch rooms after settling in because the air was not working properly. Glad we did though because the second room was on the back side of the hotel overlooking the parking lot and was much quieter than the side overlooking the street. It was fine for a night, quiet and safe.

Hotel was in a convenient location for restaurants and to get to out location. However, our room waant that clean. It was onvious the floor in the bathroom wasnt swept or mopped. The wall infront of the sink had toothpaste splashed on it. We did attempt to have breakfast on the first morning as they did advertise what did look like a decent breakfast. However, when we got into the breakfast area it wasn't anything like they advertised. Hardly any choices and then they told us the have a breakfast off the menu would be $15. Due to the selection we choice simple eggs, bacon and grits. Food came out and first bite of the bacon it was obvious it had been sitting. The grits were cold. The only decent thing were the eggs. I ended up having eggs and yogurt due to the good beinf vold and terrible. Not worth the money go around the corner and have a good breakfast it better. The second night there was someone in the room above us that kept running around the room with the heaviest steps and that went on from 4am until we finally said, lets just go. We left at 7am.

Clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. Shower gel was empty, no big deal. I used the shampoo instead. Shower floor needs to be scrubbed. :-/ I’d stay here again.

Hotel is clean and the staff is awesome! We were there for soccer and it was close to the stadium. My only complaint would be it’s a little loud if your room is next to the street but other than that I would highly recommend.

The hotel really exceeded my expectations. My room was pretty spacious. Very modern room with great bedding, couch was really cute and could be used for a bed as well. The bathroom and shower were really nice. I know Tuscaloosa is pretty much a small town but this hotel gives big city energy! Every front desk associate I encountered was very pleasant and had a great attitude. If I visit the city again I will definitely stay here.

I booked this hotel on Expedia and it was for a king bed and the rate included breakfast. When I got here they gave me a double bed room and told me unfortunately the Expedia rate they gave me did not include breakfast according to them.

The hotel really exceeded my expectations. My room was pretty spacious. Very modern room with great bedding, couch was really cute and could be used for a bed as well. The bathroom and shower were really nice. I know Tuscaloosa is pretty much a small town but this hotel gives big city energy! Every front desk associate I encountered was very pleasant and had a great attitude. If I visit the city again I will definitely stay here.

It was incredible. The young man at the front desk by the name of Parishe, was so accommodating and showed us impeccable hospitality. We were in town for a funeral and he made our trip so much better by sharing so much kindness. We will never forget it! Thank you Parishe!

Surprisingly the floors, the shower, needed maintenance. But location was good for nightlife and river walk. ALABAMA stadium about 1 and half mile walk...doable and better than trying to part.

It's a great hotel for visiting University of Alabama! A very short 5 min drive to the university and dining closer to campus, and very walkable shopping and dining options near the hotel. The hotel is pretty and the staff was extremely nice and friendly. The rooms like pretty but appear to have been constructed a little cheaply. However it's a great location and hotel Option!
