The Gantry London, Curio Collection by Hilton

This is definitely the place for a visitor to the "new Stratford". Hotel is modern, well maintained, has two good dining options on site. Only drawback is off site parking which requires a walk but you get a discount. A reasonable selection of dining options within walking distance, check out in particular Bamboo Mat. The new V&A is walkable, as is the Sadlers Wells and the new West Ham stadium. Massive shopping centre close by, looks like it is doing well. And highly cosmopolitan crowds, both in the hotel and out on the streets.

Great place and really vibrant area. Only criticism is that the advertised roof top bar was closed for what we were told was a private party but was really just a ticketed afternoon booze up for lots of rowdy drunk people. If you advertise the bar as a facility of the hotel surely it is just that and not an opportunity to make more money at the expense of your customers?!?

The hotel had a really nice bar area which a very pleasant atmosphere.

I enjoyed my stay at the Gantry, the facilities were very good and the staff was pleasant. One problem i did have was that the gym in the basement had a terrible sewage odor the two times i used the gym( gym facilities was too notch equipment wise)

Nice modern hotel located in a convenient area of London. Staff are friendly. Only one negative thing - water cooler is located on the ground floor and only one water bottle in the room. This means we need to keep coming down from the top floor to refill our bottles! It will be convenient if you can provide water fountain on every floor.

Good location, easy parking & great value at Westfield. Comfortable size room & really quiet. I would recommend the Gantry

Beautiful hotel, room is fantastic, lots of facilities and absolutely immaculate. Staff here cannot do enough to help. Only slight negative is the lift system isn’t explained (maybe we were stupid) you need to have your keycard with you to swipe then select your floor, otherwise you will be up and down like a yo-yo never actually reaching the floor you require! Obviously that didn’t happen to us

Although the property itself was nice, I excepted SO much more from a Hilton brand hotel! The A/C in the room wouldn’t go lower than 18 Celsius & the fan didn’t blow higher than “low” speed. The a/c also would completely turn off if I left the room for ANY reason so everytime I came back to the room it was hot! There were even times when I was sleeping & the a/c would turn off. I went to the front desk to ask if I was about the a/c & the front desk agent said “that’s the standard setting for the a/c & it automatically turns off when u leave the room”. I also had an issue with the tv. I called the front desk and asked how to cast my Netflix to the tv. The front desk agent told me that I would not be able to watch internet TV because it was not a smart tv….despite the tv remote saying “smart” on it. There was only ONE water refill point in the hotel & it was on the ground floor by the lobby. Each time I went there was always a line. I asked if there were other areas to refill water & the front desk agent said they USED to have one on each floor but it became to expense so they now only have the one refill point on the ground floor.

Wonderfully designed and decorated new hotel. Large rooms with excellent bathroom facilities. Loved the corridors. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Air con excellent. Lovely, attentive reception staff on arrival and departure. Similarly, the bar and restaurant staff were equally attentive. The only downside was the very loud music from the club on the ground floor which drowned out the lounge music in the cocktail bar on the first floor - the fusion did not work for me!

Great hospitality with an upgrade, one of the better gyms I have seen and just nice helpful Front desk.

Rooms looked very nice and clean however we had rose petals from what must’ve been the last guests under our bathroom sink which makes me think cleaning hadn’t been checked thoroughly. Paid £302 for 1 night which is pretty pricey and only had one pack of biscuits to share between 2 people which is odd. Also no complimentary water which I’ve had at cheaper hotels?

We stayed here after attending a nearby gig, and it was genuinely a lovely experience. The hotel has a contemporary aesthetic, it’s incredibly clean, and the rooms have everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay (heaps of plug sockets, huge bed, effective sound/light proofing, very spacious and entirely enclosed bathroom). Most notably, every single member of staff we spoke with was exceptional. Truly warm and welcoming, and a huge credit to the brand.

We stay here regularly when in London and love the interior design and the staff friendliness. Our room was let down this time with poor cleaning and the coffee hadn’t been replenished. Also the breakfast wasn’t very hot. Normally five stars for everything this is the first time we’ve scored the place less!

Lovely hotel. Staff were really very friendly and rooms were very modern. Everything was spotless. We didn’t eat in the hotel but there was a nice coffee cafe in the lobby. The bar on the first floor service was a little slow but other than that a great stay and we would recommend.

The hotel looks a lot more luxurious than the price tag suggests. Our room was stunning, especially the gorgeous rainforest shower. Everything we could have needed and more. We’ll definitely be staying again.

Clean, modern, stylish, comfortable, great amenities, brilliant location with a one of the biggest malls in the UK on its doorstep as well as a large rail station for links to the city centre. I always use the Gantry and highly recommend

Location is great. Great rooms and soaps, gels, lotions etc in bathroom. Has a fridge, hairdryer and kettle in room. Lots of ambient lighting in the room. Parking validated for Westfield. Floor 5 was busy, loud and so didn’t feel fully rested. Could hear the music from the venue downstairs alongside the noise in the rooms/corridor. Room service is expensive for what it is. Had issues with double payment taken; staff tried to resolve, but not had the confirmation emails for this. Inconvenience more than anything else. Delayed ease of check in as a result.

The Gantry is one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in London. Beautiful design, super comfy rooms with skyline views, and genuinely friendly staff. The bar and rooftop restaurant are excellent, great cocktails and food without the fuss. Perfect location with easy access to central London but enough happening nearby to stay local. Will definitely be back.

The room had a nice view and was spacious, but there was no chair in the room so the option to work while staying there was limited.

A lovely hotel but unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was out of order which made our stay unbearable hot!!

Stayed here for the Iron Maiden concert and this meant it was easy for us to get in and out to the venue plus buy merch before the show and return to the room to drop off the merch. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable with a really good view looking towards north London and beyond. We had a15th floor room and external noise was non-existent and any noise form people moving about on our floor was also non-existent. Transport links are within 5-10 minutes of leaving the hotel. We would stay again especially if we were attending a concert at the London Stadium or planned multiple things in London as access to rail links into and out of London was so easily accessible.

Amazing stay at The Gantry, which made our trip to London the perfect experience. Comfortable and cozy rooms, beautiful areas and lobby and perfect breakfast buffet to start the day. Next visit to London will definitely be spent at The Gantry again.

Check-in was crap. The guy on the desk clearly couldn’t care less. We’ve stayed before and liked it, which is why we returned. The room is fine although the wardrobe light was on all night as the door doesn’t close fully and as such means the sensor doesn’t turn the light off. Otherwise, no big issues. Although it’s a shame there’s no bottles of water provided in the room. By the time we got in late last night, showered and got ready for bed, I noticed the empty bottle with instructions to go elsewhere to fill it. I didn’t fancy walking the hotel in my bedclothes!

I had originally booked a three-night stay at The Gantry but ended up needing to cut the trip short by a day. Before arriving, I reached out to both Expedia and the hotel to try to amend my reservation. At first, due to the cancellation policy, it seemed like the change wasn’t possible—but thankfully, after Expedia spoke with Alex, the manager on duty, everything was sorted out smoothly. No much drama, or stress—just how we like it! When I arrived, Bahja welcomed me at check-in. Although my booking still reflected the original three nights, she quickly took care of it with professionalism and a smile. Throughout my stay, Bahja was incredibly accommodating. At checkout, both Bahja and Khalid were equally helpful, wrapping things up with the same warm service. I’ve been staying at The Gantry for years as a Hilton Honors member, and it never disappoints. The hotel is plush, the location is unbeatable, and the staff always go the extra mile. I’ll definitely be back—hopefully for the full three nights or more next time!

Excellent staff. Top customer service, staff were so helpful. I wish I’d taken the name of the front desk guy that arranged our taxi. He then called our room to check we were happy. All very clean and comfortable. Bar staff were fantastic too. If I was being picky, I’d recommend wifi details to be in the room, I had to phone down to ask. And only one lot of regular tea bags, two lots woukd have been preferable. Other than that a fabulous hotel with the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Genuinely thoughtful and professional employees.

Staff! Especially lovely lad having a baby on the 6th of Dec at reception. When I checked in, he helped his colleague and suggested a quieter room for me as he knew I had a small child. I really appreciate him! Give that man a promotion! He anticipated my needs and changed my room without me even having to say anything!

I arrived on Thursday 29 May after a reall bad trip from Plymouth on train. My daughter and I checked into room where I started having a panic attack and severe anxiety. I took some pills which usually calm me down but they didn’t work. As my daughter needed to sleep and I wasn’t able to,I went down to reception at about 0130. There I met Gracjan ,Wahid and manager Ayoub. I explained about my panic attacks and all the things my daughter and I were scheduled to do over next 2 days but I was petrified about doing anything or going anywhere. My heart was racing like mad and I really felt scared. They all sat me down and for the next 3 hours let me sit in reception keeping an eye on me. Ayoub pulled over a chair and sat and talked to me for half an hour at my lowest point. He came upmwith lots of useful suggestions to help me after I told him where I was going etc and how I felt. One was taking the adjoining room to mine which had the doors that link to next room for the following night so even if I wasn’t well,my daughter could rest easy knowing she could just open door to see me. I said yes so paid for extra room. Since it was by now 4.30am and I was feeling a little better, he so kindly said that to not wake or scare my daughter,that I could take the room there and then to use at no extra cost as it was empty anyway. They made me a cup of tea and continually asked how I was. Their help for me was above and beyond their duty. Please pass on my thanks and gratitude to them.

The trip to The Gantry didn't exactly go well... on check-in they had no record of our reservation (despite it being fully confirmed and pre-paid). After *three* attempts to email the front desk a copy of my confirmation, they finally got us on the system - and then said they didn't have the room we booked! They tried to substitute for an accessible room, that was a no-go for us, so my wife and I ended up with twin beds for the two nights. The apology was a couple of "free drinks". When we tried to redeem these on our last day, we found out *after* ordering and drinking our drinks, that there are restrictions on the free drinks - so even that meager thank-you backfired and went in the bin. The main feature of the property, STK on the rooftop was also closed for a private function one of the days (we were not made aware in advance) so we missed getting to experience that. On check-out we left our bags for a few hours, then when we came back to validate our parking - more messing about as apparently we had to do that at checkout (again we were not told this). To add to the 'ambiance' of the stay - one of the lifts was badly damaged, but left in service and made the most lovely screeching noise every time the door operated! Not really 4* there.

Perfectly located for the London Stadium & the Westfield Centre is just across the road. Everything is an easy walk. The hotel was stunning, clean & comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel, great location for Abba Voyage fab breakfast and restaurant

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Very convenient for the train and tube stations, and plenty of reasonably priced parking nearby. The area is safe and full of great restaurants and coffee shops, as well as Westfield. You can get anywhere in London in half an hour. Perfect location if you want to stay a little out of the centre. The room was absolutely spotless and decorated beautifully, and on arriving the staff told us we'd been upgraded, which made our stay even better! Will definitely return next time we are heading to London.

Actually good value hotel given London prices, but STK restaurant seemed very expensive. The food was good but cost too much. But nice spacious room and very comfortable.

The hotel was wonderful! Loved the almond croissants and cappuccinos in the mornings. We ate at the STK Rooftop Bar and it was a VIBE! But more importantly, the food was outstanding. Everything in the hotel was clean and environmentally-friendly. We will absolutely stay here again!

Good room, service, only reason to knock off a star is there's only 1 coffee machine at breakfast so there was always a queue, I would absolutely rate this as a 5 star if there was more coffee machines.

Nice modern hotel. Extremely comfortable bed, great shower and quiet and effective AC. Downside was breakfast which was overpriced and average at best. A bottle of water and a second pack of biscuits in the room would also be good.

Stayed here overnight to attend the Abba concert nearby. Good location in Stratford, clean and stylish hotel, staff were friendly. Room comfortable with excellent air-conditioning. Very disappointed by the STK rooftop restaurant - maybe I'm not familiar with London prices but £32 pounds for a plate of tagliatelle - which was ok but nothing special - just crazy prices. Worst thing was the live DJ in the restaurant, the volume of the music ruined the whole experience. A shame. I would stay there again if in the area but would never eat there.

This is a great hotel. It was easy to check in and out and we had no issues. The room and bathroom was very clean with all the amenities we could need - including a decent hairdryer and hair conditioner. The only slight improvement could have been the bed and pillows, they were all very very soft meaning the pillows were a bit like bean bags! The breakfast is also expensive at £20pp for a breakfast buffet which I would say was overpriced based on the options however everything tasted great and it was well organised. We had a great stay and the location is great, easy to get to and a short tube ride from the o2. Would definitely stay again.

The service was excellent especially from the breakfast the team and Sadek in particular. However the evening bar staff were not so good! Our group of 4 waited 30 minutes to be served and 1 of that team I think Spanish maybe gave poor and rude service. Still gave full marks as rest of stay was great.
