Orchid Key Inn - Adults Only

This was our first time to Key West and we found a great spot to hang for a couple of days. The Orchid Key Inn was perfect for us. Ideal location for walking. Our room was very clean and nice. The pool is perfect for catching rays in a quiet setting. The staff is excellent and makes you feel at home. There is a bar with nightly happy hour. Parking is convenient. The attention to tropical landscaping plants, Orchids, and other wonderful qualities makes our decision easy next time we return.

Great Location, clean, adult only is made for a relaxing time. Only problem was the hotel bar is a hang for locals at night, and made guests uncomfortable. One local made everyone at the bar to move their seat to make room for his dog to sit at the bar. The Locals have a sense of entitlement that comes across as dismissive of tourist, and most guests just avoided the bar in the evening.

The staff at the property were all amazing. They had wonderful recommendations - not just the usual stuff that they recommend to every traveler but they really listened to what we were looking for and helped us find what we wanted. The bar staff were ridiculously fun and kind every afternoon and evening as well. The breakfast each day was well stocked, clean, and the staff person there was helpful. The pool was really clean and always had chairs, clean pool towels and it really hit the low key energy we were looking for.

Staff members were very nice, pool area and hot tub were fun, and morning breakfast was good.

Great little boutique style hotel. The on-site bar for happy hour and pool drinks was a nice touch. Coffee in the morning added bonus! Great location, close to everything and friendly staff!

My wife and I have stayed here before and just love the small hotel feel, but large on amenities! It's right on Duval Street so you can pretty much walk anywhere. Downside is the 30 additional dollars a day for parking. Love this place!

This is a great place to relax, great breakfast, pool, bar, steps away from everything on Duval. I would give it a perfect score other than Alex the bartender being a little….let’s call it snitty. We would stay here again.

Couldn't be more pleased with staff. Kat and Chris and breakfast ladies were super. All very pleasant and friendly except one bartender. Middle aged lady, no name tag, pretty rude. Nice to have one free beverage per guest per day, but extremely limited selection. Only 7 seats in bar. Handful of 2 seat tables in bar area. Locals took up seats during happy hour when should have paid preference to guests. Drinks not discounted for guests outside of happy hour. Room was cleaned while we were at breakfast. Maid service exceptional. Not many places to eat nearby. A few on map but they were permanently closed. Need to walk at least 2 blocks in any direction for decent dining and transportation (bus).

At the risk of making it harder to book a return trip, this place was top notch and in the PERFECT location right in the heart of Duval Street. Each room is just a few steps away from a beautiful pool area, bar, and front desk. Rooms were clean and fresh. There’s onsite parking that’s also only steps from your room. I wouldn’t hesitate to book a room here again should I find myself making a return visit to Key West.

Our second stay at Orchard Key and im ready to book my third! Everyone at the resort is the BEST! Absolutely the kindest, sweetest and most pleasant. Top notch service, the cleanest hotel rooms ive ever seen. And who could leave out their offical, unofficial mascot, Mr.P. His headbutts make you feel so special.

My stay at Orchid Key Inn exceeded all expectations. Thanks to the positive attitude of the staff, the delectable breakfast offerings, and the impeccable cleanliness, I left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the wonderful hospitality I had experienced. This was incredible place to stay. Rooms and outside were spotless, staff was meticulous and management clearly pays attention to even the most minor details to make your stay perfect. Highly recommend.

The personnel were exceptionally polite, and the hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness with appealing decor. The bartender, Chris, was very helpful in recommending local events and restaurants to enhance our daily plans.

Great property in Duval and walking distance to most anywhere. Great amenities, super clean, modern and a great staff. Good value for the price.

This hotel is small and intimate. Everything was super clean and comfortable. Staff was nice. Very relaxing atmosphere. I would stay here again.

Service from the staff was great. From check-in to the bartender. Rooms were clean and cozy. Love the little things they do like a complementary drink per day. Bottled water and Milano cookies in your room. Complementary sunscreen and breakfast. And a convenient location.

This is a fantastic hotel, right in the middle of everything! We will be back. The staff were amazing, special shout out to Chris who worked the bar.. his cocktails were the best I’ve ever had. The room (115) over looked the pool, was super clean, comfortable and the bed was extremely comfortable too. The pool is small but just what you need there were always free beds around the pool. Breakfast had everything you could want and all the visitors were friendly, we made so many friends while we were there. Thank you Orchid Key Inn for a wonderful trip

This was a wonderful hotel located close to everything. We never moved our car after we parked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had all the amenities one would expect as well as warm robes, a safe, and even an umbrella in the closet. A continental breakfast was served in the morning. In the afternoon was a happy hour with free appetizers. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Key West.

We come to Key West often. We decided to try a hotel closer to down town, hence we chose this hotel. The room was nice but VERY small.

Serene and beautiful place to stay- steps away from busy Duval Street but you would never know it- the spacious well appointed room - quiet and comfy the pool area was relaxing and the grounds well manicured for a great vacation- did not want to leave...very clean and great chill vibe

Loved the Orchid Inn. The location is perfect. Right in the center of Key West but amazingly quiet and peaceful. Room was clean and spacious. Received upgrade at check in for being a VIP property. Water and coffee provided in the room and included breakfast looked good even though we only had coffee which was delicious while seating by the pool. Friendly staff and easy ample parking. This was our third time in Key West and we had not discovered this gem. We’ll stay here from now on.

Beautiful property, very clean room and great amenities. It is right on Duval street so it is very walkable to many attractions but it can get noisy at night especially if you room is close to the street.

The hotel itself and its staff are awesome. Nice large rooms, very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast is great and especially enjoyable at a poolside table. The location is convenient to lots of great attractions. The only detractor was that our room was the closest to Duval street and the noise was pretty constant. Would recommend asking for a room away from the road. Otherwise this place is perfect.

None of the Platinium perks were available. No late chceck out despite many rooms vacant, no free parking despite most of the parking empty. No towels by the pool at 21.00 - pool open till 22.00. Not impressed with the reception staff and attitute.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Key West. The location is excellent, close to everything, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms and facilities were very clean and well maintained, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to others visiting Key West.

I am a travel agent! I always try and stay in local owned hotels to support small businesses. This review is not directed to the front desk or Carlos (maintenance) they were awesome. Our air went out and Carlos fixed it immediately. My review reflects on who I believe was a manager. We arrived on Friday at 9am. We couldn’t check in yet, to be expected, so we just got into the pool. My husband smoked a cigarette and a gentleman came over and the way he spoke to him was ridiculous. “I am not going to tell you again” - this was after my husband apologized and put it out. This was the first encounter and first cigarette. He was so rude and talked to us like we were a toddler. I could completely understand, speaking like this, if we refused, but as soon as he said, your not allowed to smoke, it was put out immediately. This was our only interaction with this individual and his aggressive interactions with us is why I will not be recommending any of my clients to this property. It’s a over 18 hotel and we were talked to like we were a child. We actually didn’t get back in the pool or interact with anyone after this because it was embarrassing and made us uncomfortable. Once we found where to go there was a couple customers that came up and said they were shocked it was handled this way. I send lots of clients to key west and try to stay away from big named hotels, but unfortunately this gentleman ruined it for us. I would never want any of my customers to ever feel like that!

We were on our honeymoon and booked this hotel for three days in Key West. They allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier and even upgraded us to their largest suite! The best thing was we didn’t mention we were on honeymoon and they upgraded us, and they even gave us free drinks at the bar. They did room service and bed daily with cleanliness and professional staff! Tina, Will and the bar tender Niall are the best and I am sorry I forgot the other person’s name. But all the staff there are very welcoming and nice and helpful. Definitely coming back again without the expectation for upgrade. Close to Heyminway house and the Duval street!

The hotel was small convenient to restaurants and the Duval Loop Bus line. We enjoyed having the availability of a small breakfast and happy hour. We would come back again.

We loved the decor on the interior and exterior of the property. Most of all, we loved the staff. They made us feel like we were the most important people on the property. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip.

Everyone was so friendly, the rooms and pool area were very clean, it was walkable to all bars and restaurants while being located in the ‘quiet’ end of Duval St. And loved visiting the resident cat, Mr. P in the lobby every day. Occasionally, the obnoxiously loud car would scream by on Duval Street, but that is probably to be expected in any bustling city in a prime location. This property was great. It was quiet most of the time. It was super clean. It was in a great location on the slower end of Duval street, but all of Duvall was walkable.

We loved Orchid Key! We just got back from our trip. The property and room were very clean. The location is wonderful. The pool was great when we felt like relaxing and getting away from the hustle and bustle of Key West. We enjoyed the bar which is right next to the pool. It is set back from Duval Street and is very quiet and you would never know Duval is right there. It was just perfect for us and we can’t wait to go back!

Small and quaint with nice rooms. Appreciate the free glasses of wine nightly also. Basics European breakfast options which can get your day off to a great start. So conveniently located on Duval close to shopping, food, and attractions within walking distance.
