Any time go to slc I see if I can stay here first. I like how it’s gated and it fieels safer to leave your car there. The staff is nice. The pricing is great and the rooms are cleao and breakfast in the morning is incredible. This is my favorite place to stay

The pool wasn’t open and the parking lot is behind a gate that you need a room key to open so it causes congestion with people parked going into the lobby. The room was fairly clean but I did notice that there were burn holes in the bedding and the towels had makeup stains.

This hotel everything I needed as a solo male traveler. It had a frig, a microwave, free gated parking, decent internet, an outside pool and a free breakfast at a really low rate. After all the taxes and surcharges I think I only paid $95 so it was very affordable. The location is not great as it’s maybe a mile from the busier parts of downtown and yes I did see some homeless people in the area but it worked well for me.

pool was closed, 3-4 inches of black water on bottom. shower was dirty, poor caulking job. paint peeling of painted tiles. Noisy air conditioner, room in need of proper maintenance, paint, remodel.

So the first room that I went into I looked around and I called right away to request all fresh linens and they told me that they didn't do that there and he refused to give me fresh linens so a few minutes after I went into the bathroom and looked at the bathtub and had disgusting it was I called back to the front desk and I asked the front desk man to come to my room what she did and I showed him the filth and disgusting nature of the bathroom and so then he said okay well we'll put you in another room so we went to the next room and it was no better than slightly a little bit less mold around the bathtub then there was in the first room but it looked like nothing had been cleaned there was literally dirt in the bathtub and the sink it was just gross so I made him leave me with a spray bottle and some rags

I've stayed here 2x before, and the property was a little outdated, but clean. This most recent stay I got to the room on the second floor, and it wasn't the cleanest, but I was meeting friends for a show and didn't think much of it. When I returned I saw there were ants on the bathroom vanity, and immediately left. When I asked the attendant for a refund upon return, (5 hrs later) I was told to call back tomorrow. I arrived around 830 pm and left around 130 am. Yes, I was offered another room, but with ants on the second floor I didn't want to chance staying and having any other issues.

Fabulous, clean hotel i had just 2 issues, 1-the noise from outside, totally not your fault but im not sure i will stay here again because of the noise. 2- please.have the AC on and running before guests arrive. I checked in around 9pm and my room was so hot that it did not cool off all night.

The room looked like it was under construction. Paint peeling off the door and baseboards. Aesthetically not very pleasing. But everything appeared pretty clean. The tv was so outdated and the picture was wavy. And only had like 4 channels all which were terrible quality.

Check in was quick and simple. The room clean and we had room service every day. Clean towels every day. The breakfast. Well you had the choice of cereal, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash brown, fresh fruit or muffin. The motel has an electric gate that makes it very secure, entry being by your room key. The room we had was a disabled room which meant we had a walk in shower which was great for my wife who has bad knees, however, it blocked the first time we used it. The motel had that sorted in ten minutes. The hair dryer didn't work...we had a new one with ten to fifteen minutes. I can't recommend this hotel enough. It was a great place to stay. Thank you to the people who run it, you are a credit to the industry

Extended our stay through the front desk on Friday evening. Paid an additional $420 to stay through Wednesday with a Thursday a.m. checkout. Was called at 12:30 Wednesday afternoon and told it was our checkout day. (1½ hrs. past checkout). I was told that if I could get nec to the hotel in 20 minutes I could still recover my deposit. I was in the middle of trying to get my debit card verified at Best Buy. Didn't get back to City Creek Inn until 2:00. We were informed that the cash deposit we left was forfeit. The Dean on duty at that time produces an invoice that claimed I had paid $105 + tax/night for the extension, when it had been $95 +tax. In essence, they fudged the paperwork to keep the deposit.

This property is in a horrible part of town, bad enough to need a gated entry. The room that we were in was supposedly just remodeled it was a horrible job with paint still on the floor and just a big sticker on the bottom of the tub. The door showed signs of being broken into multiple times. The manager tried to pull a bait and switch. The first of two nights was $129. He was going to charge $189 for the second night. Don't walk away from this place, RUN!

The hotel itself is not bad. Very standard. What was then worst was the homeless people all around the hotel. We honestly didn’t feel safe walking to places close we wanted to go. And the room next to us had people up all night. Banging on the door and yelling. It seemed as if people were somehow getting through the “gated parking lot” and there to party in that room or purchase something. They were up from 1 in the afternoon (when we would leave for the volleyball games we were there to watch) until 4 or 5 am. Someone was even sleeping outside our door waiting to get in. Our entire stay we didn’t get maid service.. so not sure if that had to be requested. . Maybe if the people hanging around the hotel are a problem they could hire security or at least have someone check periodically to see what’s going on. Sadly we won’t stay here again..
