I was struggling if I should give the place 3 or 4 stars but decided on 3. This is a self service hotel and I knew that before. The room and the property are good (rooms starting to show it's age when though its rather new) and stayed there before and it was really good. Between my stays one thing changed the communication. They have clearly outsourced the communication and communicating was a struggle. I did not receive my code so I needed to call and ended up in what felt like a random call center were I could barely hear the guy on the line. At first they did not want to send me the code via mail and only wanted to tell me through the phone.. dunno why but in the end I was told to call back once I was at the property but in the meantime they all of a sudden the guy I talked to could send me the code so I did not need to call again.

Remote staff was very helpful. Room was very clean. Parking was available on the street and behind property.

Great location, and room is not fancy, but was exactly what I needed. The breakfast - rustic, but REALLY good... croissant, bun, jam, cheese, butter, fruit and a juice. Simple and so good!

Our sheets were FULL of body hair and there's no staff to complain about. There's no heating control in the room (IN ICELAND) so we were cold at night, the bathroom completely flood when we showered, the room lock only worked after at least 3 tries, and our room was right next to the parking lot on the ground floor so very noisy.

My room was right next to stairs and entrance so very noisy. Door codes were a bit temperamental especially with cold hands! The fridge in my room smelt very bad.
