We had a nice time overall, but there were several areas where the experience fell short of expectations: The food quality was disappointing and did not meet the level we expected. We requested body gel/soap multiple times over several days and never received it. One of the towels in our room was dirty, which raised concerns about housekeeping standards. Café service was inconsistent—at times we were given multiple bottled waters, while other times we were told there was a strict limit of two, which was confusing. Dinner service at both the Asian and steak restaurants was very slow. The facilities felt older and not well maintained, which was surprising given that we were told the property opened only two years ago. While staying in the Enclave, we were not informed about the welcome package. We only discovered it after noticing other guests with Enclave bags and had to ask about it three days into our stay. The game room experience was unusual—activities like paddle tennis were limited to a 15-minute rental, which felt restrictive. Cleanliness around the pool area was lacking, with food left out and not cleared promptly, suggesting inconsistent upkeep. Overall, there are opportunities to improve service consistency, communication, and general maintenance to better align with guest expectations.

This is our second time visiting Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe and our stay was just as good as the first time we came 1 year ago! The food was amazing and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Literally, every staff member seems to be happy and enjoy working here. The entertainment team (especially Santos, Oscar, and Michelle) worked very hard to make sure you had things to do or watch by the pool or the beach. We enjoyed eating at every restaurant—but the Asian restaurant and the steakhouse (big shout out to Gerry at the steakhouse for being the best server!) were our favorites! Thank you Hilton for making our vacation so great! See you next time!
