I really liked the Candlewood Suites in Asheville! The rooftop sitting areas and bar were a nice feature. The employees at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel and very convenient to downtown areas.

I was visiting Asheville for the Snot Otters game last Friday and wanted somewheres close to downtown, without breaking the bank. Candlewood Suites accomplished that goal perfectly! My bed was comfy and my suite was cozy, but big. I loved the rooftop bar – though it was closed when I went up, I was able to bring my own beverage and FaceTime my family. The pool, hot tub and coffee were the perfect cap next morning. I love how the TV had an HDMI hookup for my game console! I stayed here once before when the hotel first opened in 2021, this time was even better. Ingles next door is clutch. If I ever come on a solo trip to Asheville, I’ll definitely give your hotel a look!

The room was clean and staff was nice and gym was great and decorated awesome the indoor pool Hottub was great addition great locations to all outback right across street which was great location and bar only negative is the rooms were very dark and there was a big gap up underneath door going out of room which I didn’t like

This hotel really impressed us! The room had a full kitchen (in a tiny space!) including full fridge, tile floor (nice for coming and going from the pool), quality toiletries in the shower, great cable selection, comfy beds, and lots of little touches like easy access outlets and a lounge chair with a tv tray. The hotel itself is dog friendly with a small run on the side, outdoor grill and chill space, rooftop hangout, well stocked gym, and a lobby commissary. The pool and hot tub were clean and well-maintained. It is super close to Asheville downtown with several restaurant options in walking distance as well as a grocery store and gas station. All that, and the price was great. I will highly recommend this hotel to any friends coming to town.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are big WITH kitchen, and the indoor pool, jacuzzi and roof gardens with big shaded chairs were all wonderful perks. The daytime front desk service was first rate.

Quiet hotel that’s just a quick drive to the city. Great indoor pool, hot tub, electric car charger, outdoor grill and best of all…was the rooftop deck that spans the whole roof of the building. Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay at this hotel. Great welcome and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean everywhere and brilliant facilities, laundry, kitchen items, even board games and a lovely rooftop bar...a real home from home! Love this hotel/apartment concept and would highly recommend ....great job!

Upon check in Kay at the front desk was wonderful. She truly is the unsung hero of this property. She is the best balance of grace and patience. I get in my room and there is blood everywhere, fresh fried blood. On the fridge, plates, bed sheets and bottom of the bed. Kay came up at 2:30am to change my bed sheets. I didn't gonto another room because the size room i needed wasnt available. The next morning I had a nice exchange with Dulce in the front. Very nice lady. Before I could get the manager name to bring to their attention about the conditions of my room I received via check in, I was accosted by this woman who was also behind the counter. Very rude, loud, condescending. Turns out she's the manager, Marlene. Marlene needs a new job because she clearly hate her job. I do not recommend this hotel. I had great encounters with other staff members but house keeping is lacking and so is management.

Very accessible to area. Never cleaned room (4days),power failure not their fault but. Emergency lights in stairwell were not working. Staff seemed unconcerned and apathetic when I discussed power issue. Power went out at 2am and I left at 7am power hadn’t been restored.

We only stayed one night due to flying out of Asheville but the hotel and location were great. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The receptionist was friendly and informative. The hotel was well kept clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room had a dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, plates, refrigerator bowls, and utensils. We were very pleased. There was a grocery store next door and several restaurants nearby.

The property needs to update their wording on the pet policy. They use the words per occurrence to mean per day. They are other hotels with cheaper pet fees and wider parking spaces. The water pressure is terrible and the bathroom door did not shut all the way or lock. Pest control is needed as my husband killed several Asian Lady Beetles.

It worked well for my family: 2 littles under 3. It allowed for a room that was closed by a door to allow the baby to sleep in pack n play without toddler waking him. However bed and pillows left a lot to desire limiting my wife's sleep.

It was quite loud, it felt like the walls were thin and could hear tvs, footsteps, people talking. Also, the spigot, and shower unit looked like they could fall out of the wall any minute. There were cracks in the Timor and light poked like cheap tile work. I made front desk aware upon checkout.

Clean hotel. Location is not super. I reserved a mountain view suite. The room itself was fine, but the view was of the blood bank, so that was kind of disappointing. We also arrived about 11 hours early and I was hoping we could just check in to our room and pay an extra fee, but we couldn't, so it was a bit of a hassle. We had to reserve another room for 7 hours, so that seemed kind of silly. Staff was pleasant. I would consider staying here again if I ever find myself in Asheville again.

I only gave a 4 for comfort because the people staying above us sounded like they had a stampede of buffalo running across, up and down the room for hours! At ten o’clock at night! We called the front desk and they said they would put a call in. I’m assuming they did because it seemed to subside shortly after our call. The better thing to do would have been to request a room change because guess what!!?? It started all over again first thing in the morning!

Thank you to all the staff at Candlewood for being helpful and accommodating me for my stay in asheville. Everyone was friendly, checkin was incredibly simple, and i had no issues at all, they even waived a fee for me that i was willing to pay. Thank you again to Alex and all of the staff, i will come again

We booked a reservation for a specific room. Upon arrival, staff informed us they did not have that room and would be placing us in a different room. In our opinion, a downgrade. Check in took approximately 15-20 minutes; we were not waiting in line, the more experienced staff just seemed not to care to help the newer staff. With the downgrade, hotel staff did not offer compensation despite us asking. My spouse asked for a later check out, which they extended by one hour. The room itself was fine. No complaints. Truthfully though you could go to a comfort inn or any other hotel for a lot less headache, better customer service, and get the same room. My husband and I don’t get an opportunity to get away alone very often. This was the first weekend we’ve taken in about two years. We just were really disappointed. We definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an experience, however, if you’re looking for somewhere to lay your head down at night, this would satisfy.

The staff person on duty when we checked in, was confused about the ADA laws concerning service animals. She first wanted to charge me for our service dog and then threaten to kick me out. I am a lawyer, and I think that stopped her from charging me. Please have your staff well-versed in the state and national laws concerning service animals.

I had great encounters with other staff members but house keeping is lacking and so is management.

I just discovered extra charges on my credit card, after paying in advance . Also their pet fee is 30$ per night although the website says 30$ for the whole stay. The surrounding area is extremely dirty. Stuff was rude and unprofessional.

Great stay. Location isn’t walkable but it’s just a couple minutes by car. Having a kitchen in our room, was wonderful and there’s an Ingles right next-door. The rooftop bar was closed but we took our own bottle of wine and sat up there and it was nice. We would stay there again.

This is a brand new hotel. It is in pristine condition. We were very pleased. The location isn’t great but, the price was perfect. We were only there for one night. It really isn’t in downtown but you could easily walk to downtown Asheville. It was a five minute drive. The studio worked out for us. Beds were comfortable and the room felt spacious. There’s a full size refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, and stovetop. There are bbq grills near the pool area- and a nice grocery store next door. Definitely a good place to stay.

Our stay was fine and met our needs. We were close to an outside entrance and the door slammed loudly when used. We noticed a number of vagrants in the general area. Not sure what can be done to address that.

This hotel was fine. The description said that breakfast was included but it was not. The description also said it was a "downtown" hotel -- not so much. It\'s only a mile walk to the downtown area but far enough away that not really comfortably walkable late at night. Staff was nice. It was clean. We were there at the peak fall scenery weekend so I think the price was high for what you get -- but, supply and demand!

The first thing that we noticed when we pulled into the parking lot was the strange people walking around the hotel which was concerning. We made sure to park our car were we could see it from our room window. Check in was easy and the staff nice. The room was comfortable and there was a laundry room which came in handy. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a convenient location to downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estates and other attractions.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Front desk staff was friendly through entire stay. They have a roof top hangout deck which was fun too. The room got hot at night even with a fan and AC going but I’m generally a hot sleeper. The location was perfect for us because you’re a cheap Uber ride from downtown and have a quiet, peaceful place to come back to when you’re done.

We were only in our room briefly, however, I liked that we had a full refrigerator, a stove top and a dishwasher. The staff was very nice and the store in the hotel was convenient. It was a great stay and I would recommend this hotel to people who are staying in Asheville. The price was right and the amenities were what we needed.

This was a very late night stop only to leave early in the morning. I looked for hotels with at least a 9 on the scale and the hotel I stayed at earlier in the week was already booked up. So $149 for great room with a kitchenette is decent, but not so much for so little time. Plus, the hotel did not service breakfast so that was a downer. If I was prepared then whatever.

Just one night. Everything was good. Did not realize there was no breakfast which is on me. Coffee in lobby was from a machine but this is a suite. No biggie. Disappointed that there was no way to stream without bringing your own device and cables. Great place for a good price. Convenient location with lots of options for dining nearby.

Comfort and value for the stay. Our recent stay was our third at Candlewood Suites and another stay already booked for April. The location is central to activities we need to take of like shopping, dining and attending VA appointments. Of note there’s not a buffet breakfast but coffee is available in the lobby and snacks and things can be purchased. McDonald’s is right next door, as are many chain and also unique restaurants. The rooms have my favorite amenity a small kitchen. Staff is attentive and helpful for our needs or questions.

I was disappointed that they offered wine on the bar menu but didn't have any when I asked for it. Daughter used the gym and said it was great; had much more to offer than the average hotel gym. My only complaint is that it said breakfast was included when looking online to book but there was NO breakfast. They did have coffee and some breakfast items to purchase (cereal, poptarts, etc) but no actual breakfast. Other than that, I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

This was our first stay at a Candlewood Suites hotel in many years and, boy, have they changed! The room was very modern, clean and functional. We had a room with 2 queens while our traveling companions had a king bed room. Both had kitchen facilities but our room was much bigger. If all Candlewoods are as nice as this one, we will be booking stays there much more often.

Upon arrival the staff at check-in desk were excellent. The two ladies greeted us and were very friendly. They also directed us to an amazing restaurant. They also let us know about the outstanding amenities available at the property. One of the best things was the rooftop bar! It is such a pleasant space. And having parking available on the property was such a great plus after coming in late from our event. This will be our place to stay in Ashville. Oh yeah, it is also conveniently located to downtown as well as the area's unbelievable famer's market!
