This hotel seemed to be relatively new and was very nice. It was right on the waters of Lake Superior. The outdoor space was lovely with tables and chairs right by the water. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a nice gift shop in the lobby. The beds very comfy and nice bathrooms. They had balcony rooms, but we did not reserve that room type. They have a great location close to Pictured Rocks National Shoreline. We definitely stay there again and hope to...

This hotel was perfectly located on Lake Superior, with gorgeous sunset views. The hotel was clean and the people working were very friendly. The fitness center had nice weights, but only had one treadmill and one elliptical.

One thing I want to note is that despite some of the photos having grills, they do not in fact have grills on the property available for guests. That was one of the reasons I booked this hotel (based on photos shown) and was disappointed when there wasn't. Otherwise, hotel was clean and perfect for a night stay!

Sheets, pillow cases and beddding was stained. Front desk was great and apologized and brought new ones but those too were stained but at least we knew they were clean. They did give a rate reduction for our troubles.

We had a great stay at the Comfort Inn. This hotel is spotless, has a great location and the staff quite friendly. Great views of the bay and a nice backyard area as well. We will return.

Carafes for coffee, hot water, etc need to be replaced. I didn't get a hot beverage once in 4 days. The drinks were always lukewarm. Also, no daily room service is disappointing, considering the cost of the rooms. The rooms are nice, renovated, but baths need attention. Our bathroom had peeling and bubbling paint at the edges of tub and also the beginnings of mold or accumulated dirt in the corners of tub area. Would return if I could get a view room.

Loved the view from this hotel and ability to sit outside. So relaxing. We had two queens in our room that were very uncomfortable though. Time to get new mattresses. We would really like staying here again but maybe not all 3 nights unless the mattresses are changed out. We did not get good sleep at all. They are extremely hard. Friendly staff and okay breakfast. Coffee is best at Gallery Coffee in town.

Pillows were absolutely horrible, breakfast kinda crappy. Place was clean and updated, staff was great. Location is great, parking was great. No noise from neighboring rooms. The hallway gets loud at 7am so don’t expect to sleep in after 7am. Wasn’t able to enjoy the balcony because of all the mosquitos but did have a really great view out the window at the lake. I’d probably stay again in the future but i would bring my own pillow and skip the breakfast. I didn’t feel it was worth the price but then again it’s cleaner than most other places. I recommend charging $20-$30 less per room and don’t offer customers free food and beverage. The food sucks

Beautiful hotel on the shores of Lake superior. The rooms that face the lake have balconies. We had a room to the other side. We must’ve been one of the last people to check in because the room we got was right near the elevator, and the elevator wall was literally in our room, I was sleeping 3 feet from the elevator shaft. I know this is probably not an issue for the other rooms but just be aware. Despite insulation, we could hear that elevator coming up and down late at night and early in the morning. Despite all that, we had a great experience, and the front desk were very accommodating to our wishes. Breakfast is good with lots of options and you can sit and eat by the lake. They have a cute little gift shop be aware that currently, September 2025, the direct road from the hotel to the center on Munising is closed, making a 3 min drive into about 11 min.

This property is new and more upscale than most Comfort Inns. The finishes and bedding were especially nice. We had a balcony with seating overlooking Munising Bay. There were also seats and tables close to the water. It was also close to town as well as the entrance to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

We stayed for our anniversary and overall it was nice, only issue really was the shower, was difficult to operate, the ice machine was extremely loud across from our room, and the neighbors next door kept sitting in front of our door and window talking loudly.. which I know they cant help..

The pullout sofa bed wasn't very comfortable at all, BUT the front desk staff was super accommodating and incredible. 10/10 recommend staying here just for the front desk staff alone. I loved how close this location was to the Pictured Rocks Trailhead/Munising Falls Visitors Center and was easy to get into town from here.

We liked our stay at the Comfort Inn, the breakfast was great. The only bad thing was they don't give room service when you stay more than one night. And they don't tell you that you won't be getting clean towels, the bed made, etc. They said it was company policy. Huh? At those prices? I might expect that from a cheap motel, but this wasn't cheap.

This is a nice new clean hotel with an outstanding staff. We were very helpful. They suggested a great place for supper that night. The room is well appointed clean, neat and comfortable as I’m on a motorcycle trip. They even allowed me to park my bike near the front door so it would be more secure. I would stay here again.

Location was great pricing for what we received was very high. No daily housekeeping only after the second night’s stay- have to get your own towels if you want clean ones. We will not be using Comfort Inn in the future

Nice view, clean rooms and common areas, and a pleasant and accommodating staff. When I checked in, I reported that the bathroom lights were not working. It turned out to be just a fuse, but the problem was addressed and resolved in less than 10 minutes!

Great hotel with bay view and access. The road construction blocked the short access to the town and have to detour for 8+minutes but also helped on traffic in the parking lot side of the rooms.

I would not recommend this motel as long as the bridge to Munising is under repair. It feels very remote because there are no restaurants in the area. WITH THE BRIDGE BLOCKED IT'S A 20 MINUTE DRIVE TO MUNISING. I advise to check the state of the road closure before booking.

Fantastic view of Lake Superior. Hotel is on the shore. Between Pictured Rocks and town. One or two miles from the boat tours and ferry terminal, and restaurants.

We loved that hotel was so conveniently located to town, picture rock, waterfalls, and hiking. The continental breakfast was good but we were there 3 days and it was the same choices every day unless they ran out of an item.

This property is fairly new and tucked away so it's quiet and upgraded compared to other hotels in the area. large room, big bathroom. Really liked having a traditional door to go out to the patio versus a sliding door. Great view of the water. Had patio furniture for enjoying sunsets. Had free breakfast, eggs, sausage, waffle station, plus usual cereal, yogurt, bagels, etc.
