Clean, neat, nice breakfast. Was very close to Liberty university- our reason to travel there. Only minor complaint- no microwave or coffee in room. Could use microwave and there was round the clock coffee, tea, cocoa available in the lobby.

The property was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was sparse and mostly carb filled. There is no pool and in many ways it’s a no frills place to stay. It wasn’t terrible but wasn’t spectacular either.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. Adequate gym. The bed and pillows are comfortable, but the rooms do not have closets or drawers. Everything is open on shelves and looks messy. The bathroom is ok, but nothing special. They don't offer daily maid service. Not what I would expect at a Hilton property especially at the price charged.

This is not your grandfather's Hilton. Smart, almost whimsical decor in the lobby; equally up-to-date and appealing furnishings/decor in the bedroom. Good coffee and breakfast. Comfortable bed and sufficiently strong shower. A very clean and winsome place to land at the end of a long drive.

Such a great experience. Very clean!! Welcoming and kind staff. I took my dog and they had grounds to walk him and multiple dog curbing stations. We didn’t have breakfast there but the coffee was delicious.

Tru is a clean and modern hotel and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. I love the laminate flooring in the room. The hotel smelled clean and fresh. Free breakfast, coffee and tea. The staff was friendly. Hotel is conveniently located near shopping. There is free parking on site however, the only suggestion is to add more spaces for parking (there should be at least 1 space per room).

We enjoyed our stay, but the TV didn't work at times, and the room could have been a bit cleaner. We've stayed here before without any issues, so hopefully this was a one-time occurrence. The staff is very nice.

When I arrived no one was near the front counter, we waited for about 25 minutes and after calling and through the immediate area the desk clerk finally came and insisted that she had only been gone for 5 minutes, the room had dog hair all on the floor, the shower wasn’t stocked because we ran out of everything in it

The hotel is newer and feels new; however there were a few surprising things. In my hallway, the wallpaper on the walls was ripped up and the baseboards removed. Probably remodeling being done, but no signs of any workers. Also, I stayed 2 days and my room didn't get cleaned each day. The room was beautifully cleaned upon arrival, but I was surprised my bed was not made or wet towels removed when I came back after a long day. The breakfast was good, the beds slept well, nice large tv's, and nice staff. I would stay here again, but I found some of these things surprising.

Staff is extremely friendly!! The room left a lot to be desired. The a/c unit would not operate properly. It randomly cut on and off all night long, the room was either super cold or hot, rattled all night. I would not stay again.

Staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Room was very clean and easy to move around in. Looked very nice and beds were fairly comfortable. The only problem I had was the noise level, especially at night. Don’t know if anything can be done about it, but it was a real nuisance.

We were not a fan of the modern concept hanging space features instead of a closet. It made the room look cluttered and messy to have our clothes hanging out in the open and on wall hooks. Also, the clear glass shower door instead of a curtain made it so that only one family member at a time could utilize the entire bathroom. With a curtain, one person can shower in privacy while another uses the toilet or brushes their teeth or whatever. This bathroom did not allow for that which was a huge inconvenience.

Close to everything in Lynchburg, whether you’re here for school, shopping, or visiting like we were. We loved coming in after our excursions during the day and grabbing a hot chocolate on the way up to our room. Sarah at the front desk, usually second shift, was absolutely wonderful! She always had great recommendations, including Mr. Goodies, a local dessert bar that was fantastic!! The only drawback was how loud the hotel could get. My wife is easily sick and gets rapid migraines. There was one time our upstairs neighbor was extremely loud all day and we had to talk to the desk clerk, but they took care of it and we didn’t hear anymore. We would definitely stay here again.

Didnt like noise from upper floor walking around. It was constant. No microwave. Very small refrigerator on the floor. Lady serving breakfast had a terrible cough with no face mask! Sorry but its the truth. Thats disgusting.. not worth $700 for 3 nights.

My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our two night stay at the Lynchburg TRU. Sarah and Carmen made our stay extra wonderful when they helped us move rooms. Sarah was always so pleasant and knowledgeable about the facilities. Sarah and Carmen make the hotel a joy for all! We felt special.

Got woken up at 5 am due to a dog barking in another room which continued for the next 3 plus hours. Mentioned it on check out and lady at the desk admitted she knew about it and did nothing. Went to get breakfast with still plenty of time before it was supposed to be closed for the day and everything was either broken and not working or out of stock. Unimpressed.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were fantastic, especially the receptionist who checked us in that evening and the lady at the breakfast buffet the next morning. Everything was super clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the mattress was unbelievably comfy. I’d definitely stay here again!

This hotel does notvtake cash even for chips or drinks; UNSATISFACTORY! The convenience of scanning your card for snacks is not convenient at all! The super nice lady at the sesk had to work the machine as its not up to the task. Bring back paying with cash ASAP!

We arrived late and our key cards did not work and there was no resolution to that, so once the staff let us in the room, we just had to manage without. Not a huge deal since it was 1 night, but a little annoying. Otherwise, very clean and no other bumps.

Would have been 5 stars except for the front desk staff. During both interactions with them they were disinterested and almost imposed upon to help. Their friends or family members were at the desk as well so perhaps it was more distracted than uncaring. Our breakfast attendant was friendly, however. Nice property though.

The rooms are clean, love no carpet in rooms. Beds are comfortable. The only thing we did not like was breakfast hot food. Eggs and meat options were not hot. Eggs are not real. Meat items not cooked. Coffee was not good. I prefer no hot items when its cold and not cooked.

I didn't appreciate the added fee of 25.00 to ensure that I would not trash the room. I was told with a smirk that the housekeeping staff would have to approve the condition of my room before I would given back the 25.00 fee. The free breakfast was not worth eating. Foods provided were mostly high carb and high sugar choices. The coffee tasted like brown water.

I selected this hotel due to its central location, which provides easy access to numerous stores and restaurants.
