FANTASTIC ! Quiet, clean and, comfortable. Staff was excellent and extremely accommodating. Pool was clean and, in great condition. Plenty of parking, even with a truck and trailer. This was our third time here and, where I will stay every time I am in Jacksonville. If I could find a reason to complain, it would be the loud a** motorcycles blasting down the highway at night behind the property.

We arrived 31 Jan 2025 and unknown to us there had a fire and the sprinkler system had been activated. There were probably 50 or more moisture removing devices in the hallways, lobby and fitness center, plus the contractors responsible for them were everywhere . Staff had no idea when this repair would be completed There was no standing water but there was a lot of noise. Our room was as described and clean but we had to get another remote got the tv. Staff is limited. Had we known all this was going on, we would definitely not have stayed here.

Worst experience in a hotel in my entire life. The temperature is heat controlled at 74 degrees and is motion detected. Absolutely ridiculous. So through the entire night we had to keep getting up and jumping around our room to try to find the sensor to turn our air back on. I felt completely violated and babysat the entire day/night. This should be clearly stated in the hotel description before booking. Be prepared to wake up hot and sweaty all night long. The room itself was clean for the most part with a few hairs found in the shower but the doors up and down the hallways are white and disgustingly filthy. A coat of paint and/or good scrubbing would really make a difference in initial appearances. The staff was kind and welcoming and generally apologetic for the temp controlled situation. Very long sleepless night in Florida for us. Wyndham you should be ashamed of putting your title on something as demeaning as this.

We have stayed here several times. It’s overall nice. I was disappointed that there isnt an ice machine anymore so you have to turn on your ice maker in the freezer and wait for it to make ice if you want a drink. Also the free coffee/lattes machine in the lobby was out of order for the 3 days of our stay. Staff is very nice. Would stay again.

The property was under renovation at the time so there was noise on the floor above me and the rooms to the sides of mine through the day and the night. It made it a bit hard to work peacefully. And the hallways were messy because of the renovations. I had no issues with check in. Gym and pool was great. WiFi is great. My room wasn’t cleaned properly and the internet on my tv didn’t work so I couldn’t use Netflix or YouTube.

Room was small but had washer and dryer which I needed during my stay. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Hotel is a bit out of the way for walking but it is in great condition so I would stay there again. Pool was closed which I did not know before booking.

It used to be a great place to stay and my go to hotel for Jacksonville. Now, it unprofessionally run and the hallways are a constant smell of weed, roaches in the room, noisy. It’s just not where I’d spend my money again.

Not so good - Their was quite a bit of hair (that wasn’t mine).. on the bed sheets when I turned back the covers and white comforter as well. Not so good - Upon checking in.. The 2 trash cans that are outside (at the main entrance)… was overflowing with trash. The next when I went out.. it was even worse, as there were bags of trash sitting on the ground. Which was an eyesore, and presented an unkept appearance. Devin at the front desk was very pleasant and had great Customer Service!!

The property had a unique smell upon entering. The back door squeaks very badly when opening and closing. The walls are very thin and some of the other guests are very loud into the early hours in the morning. There were several bugs in the room, broken glass in the room. The beds were hard. The hotel is not what I expected. I don’t plan to ever stay there again. Due to the reason that cleaning this is not a priority for this hotel. The hallways had a foul smell. My room was not clean when I arrived. They tried to give me another room to accommodate me, but that room was just as dirty as the first one that they gave me. I asked for cleaning service the next day, which they did give me, and was not as clean as I expected. In all reality, they need to get a new cleaning staff. Or hire more cleaners that pay attention to detail. Stove top was all greasy, aswell as the microwave had grease all in the inside and refrigerator was in bad shape. I could go on with the list of what that room needed cleaned But, I’ll leave it at that. Staff member Valentino was great 👍

This place was excellent, it’s arguably amongst the nicest accommodations I’ve yet to see. Pleasant service, a huge, clean room, washer/dryer (couldn’t believe this!), kitchen, all the amenities, dishes, silverware, microwave, couch, huge shower. The only issues I had was there was no TV signal, and I had to wait about 20 minutes after arrival for them to clean the room as they had somewhat of a booking issue, so perhaps my room was upgraded from what I initially booked as compensation, because I don’t understand how I got something so nice for what I paid. If this is what they offer for what they charge, the value proposition here is ridiculous. Had I no reservations the next day that I had to drive five hours to, I seriously would’ve contemplated booking another night or two. Place was an absolute pleasure to stay in, in a nice area, and I highly recommend it. I’ll be saving it in my favorites, and making it a point to stay here on future occasion when headed down south. Very happy customer!

Room was very nice & spacious and front staff friendly. Only issue is the beds were very uncomfortable. My boyfriend and I tossed and turned the whole night. The pillows were also uncomfortable, not very firm/full. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay and i would come back. Appreciated it was very clean.

The property was week maintained and clean. The only issue that people need to consider when staying is the noise. We could hear normal level conversations from the room next door, not much insulation and the highway noise is loud. We wear ear plugs when staying at hotels so it did not bother us much but anyone who is a light sleeper should consider it.

What a disaster. First room as totally a wreck! Bedding all over the floor as well as towels. Second room had no bath towels, scant toilet paper, no coffee. The only sunshine was the front desk attendant “Nora”(?). She was absolutely wonderful. She was apologetic for the first room and was happy to provide necessities for 2 d room which was upgraded. The AC handler )?) was in the bedroom so noise ALL night! No thanks for a return visit.

The only sunshine was the front desk attendant “Nora”(?). She was absolutely wonderful. She was apologetic for the first room and was happy to provide necessities for 2 d room which was upgraded. Property was ok, but nothing that made me say to myself I need to stay here again. Only one elevator worked. Parts of the wall were missing on the second floor. My room was next to stairs and people ran up and down and were so loud in it for hours late every night until early in the morning. The worst part was the asst manager who checked me in. I hope she was only having a bad day or off day, because her attitude was certainly not one that should be in the hospitality or customer service business.

Employees should be more respectful and provide better service to customers. We arrived at 3:30 to check in as we called earlier in the day and was told our room would be ready at 3:00. When we arrived we were greeting with frustrated employees complaining that they were understaffed and the manager herself was cleaning and inspecting 42 rooms. She said we would have to come back later to check in and couldn’t provide a time the room would be ready. We were in town for a surprise party and after driving 4 hours we had no where to get ready. They didn’t apologize or try to accommodate us in any way, instead we were forced to leave. We returned at 8:30 and once we finally got to our room we discovered there were no towels in the room. We went down to the reception to request towels as the phone in the room wasn’t working. When we requested towels the front desk receptionist let out a loud sigh and Che k the time on her watch complaining her shift couldn’t over sooner. We then proceeded to try and get a coffee from the coffee machine which had an error message stating the grinds need to be removed. We asked for help and was told we had to wait until 11:00 pm for them to maintain the machine. The entire experience was awful. Hospitality as the hotel DOES NOT exist.

We came in to the front desk and I advised the lady behind the counter that I had done my early check in before I arrived with a smile on my face and she looked at me like I was crazy and replied to me in a rude manner stating that I still had to show her my ID as if she had asked before I started talking. I immediately did not feel welcome. I get into my room, and I lift my bed sheet and a piece of food came out that looked like a chip of some sort (Did not pick it up to examine) flew out and landed on the ground. Turned on the tv and I found out that the volume goes up slowly so I held the volume key and when I let go it kept going up until I turned off the tv. I turn it back on to the same issue, but when I finally got it all at a perfect level, it shut itself off. This morning I went into the bathroom and stepped on a piece of glass on the floor. Luckily it did not pierce my skin. We went into the elevator to check out and we could smell a smokey smell as if the elevator was burning something above us and felt very uncomfortable. Front desk was advised.

This hotel was undergoing some renovations which is why it did not receive 5 stars. A big plus for us is that it is pet friendly. It has a very good exercise room. What is hurting their review is that I prepaid for my stay through Expedia. When I checked out I was told the hotel did not receive full payment and I was charged an addition 475.00 dollars. I have contacted Expedia and I am still waiting for this double payment to be resolved.

Once checked in I realized the room that I booked was not what they gave me. When I asked them about it, they said it is Expedia's fault. The staff Simona and King were the rudest I have ever encountered. I just checked out and did not stay a night.

Very clean & comfortable. New, or at least in new condition. Full kitchen, even washer/dryer. 10-minute drive to Town Center area with lots of shops & restaurants, and some other options closer. Will stay again when in this area.

This hotel is is a step above other affordable hotels nearby. It was so nice to walk into a beautifully thought out studio, which was spotlessly clean and cozy. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. We were going to the Jaguars stadium and only 15 minutes away.

I usually stay in the Deerwood Park area of the Southside, near family. The hotel I usually stay at was more expensive than usual, possibly because of the time of year. I had not seen WaterWalk on my Hotels.com option previously, but the price was attractive, so I thought I would give it a try, and I am glad I did. A new, clean, well-maintained option. They are pet-friendly, and the advantages go beyond the facility itself. WaterWalk is located at the end of a drive into a business park, and it provided some safe, secure dog walk options. I'm glad to have a good, well-priced pet friendly option for the area.

I loved staying at the WaterWalk Jacksonville hotel. It's pretty new and it shows. It had a studio room with kitchenette and it was super cute and clean. I only stayed one night, but I will stay there again. It is also in my favorite part of Jacksonville - Southside.

This is a reliable, economic, well-located addition to the choices off Southside Boulevard. It's more of a bare bones place, seems very well suited to an extended stay situation, but you definitely get an excellent stay for the price. Their location makes it great for a dog walk. Very nice quality as well. No breakfast, but you can plan around that.

We have stayed here several times. It’s overall nice. I was disappointed that there isnt an ice machine anymore so you have to turn on your ice maker in the freezer and wait for it to make ice if you want a drink. Also the free coffee/lattes machine in the lobby was out of order for the 3 days of our stay. Staff is very nice. Would stay again.

My sister and I chose this location because it was just a little bit off the beaten path. We were in Florida to be with our father who ultimately passed away during our visit, so we were very grateful to have a more homey type of environment while we were not at the hospital. The only thing I was a bit surprised with was the lack of breakfast in the am; however, I realize that we had a kitchen and could have made breakfast ourselves.

Staff super friendly, rooms were spacious. Only complaint is the lobby coffee machine was not working, and the shower head was not adjustable. Other than that, it was a great property, very clean rooms and quiet. Would stay again.
