Pool has been closed for years and it is unattractive, dirty in front of the hotel

They advertise microwave and refrigerator, but there is neither in the rooms.

The lights in the room were not working properly, and even the door latch was broken. The room had an unpleasant smell, was dirty, and the comforter was of poor quality. Overall, I did not like the property. Although there is a swimming pool, it is in such pathetic condition that it is of no use.

They could use better WiFi , connection was disconnecting & reconnecting more than once in 5 mins , moved soo slow, otherwise great

I was there about 20 minutes to try to do a homework assignment it said free WiFi service wouldn’t load, it was dirty, table falling apart, smelled like drugs and I legitimately felt like I was getting high. I have never in my life left a place but I had to. I filled out a refund form I’m not sure if I will get it

Pool was dirty. No basic amenities like microwave in rooms. Place has very run down look and did not look clean. Saw few roaches. Would not recommend.

The roaches were AWFUL !!!!! Not having microwave, refrigerator, or a coffee pot was definitely out of the norm for a hotel room. The staff at the front desk were professional and pleasant. The exterior of the facility ad the lobby were appealing; the rooms were SPARTAN at best. MINIMAL toiletries, towels, and furniture. Surely management could take an interest in these areas and make small investments in these areas.

Room had roaches crawling and I had blow stain on my pillow.

This property falls well below expectations. There were roaches in the room, and both the original non-smoking room and the replacement room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The floor eas filthy. I was scared to toych anything, the furniture, surfaces, ecrrything looked gross. Since it was late, I chose to stay, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff was also noticeably unfriendly.

Just horrible. The single most appalling aspect was the blood. Discovering bloodstains and other brownish stains on my bed sheets upon arrival was utterly disgusting. It honestly made the bed look like someone had just had sex in it and then it was made right back up. When I informed the front desk about this horrific discovery, there was no offer of a new room or any other accommodations whatsoever, which is frankly unacceptable. Beyond the shocking state of the bedding, the room itself was a nightmare. I found roaches and spillage and trash on the floor, and the refrigerator stopped working. Even though I hadn't planned on using it, seeing the pool in such a disgusting state in the middle of June was truly bizarre and a clear sign of the overall lack of cleanliness. I would strongly advise against staying here.

Dirty bedding, bathrooms and floor.

The stay lasted 2hrs and I asked for a refund. There were stains all over the sheets and pillows. I killed 3 roaches within 1hr of the stay. The TV kept going out. The walls were covered in random debris. The door lock wouldn't lock and the swing lock was completely missing from the door.

The property said no smoking but my room smelled so bad of cigarette smoke it made me sick. There were roaches running over us all night

This place was so terrible disgusting. All the blankets are Stained there was pubic hairs on the toilet seat there was people's hair in the bed and even all over the pillow cases.the floors haven't been swept in weeks maybe even months. The walls were yellow.. staff was completely rude they were drug dealers and people drinking all over the steps.. homeless people living outside

We were there for an hour when we saw the first bed bug. Reported it and asked for a refund, but they stated that we had been checked in for more than 15 minutes so we were ineligible for a refund. I didn’t expect a five star hotel for the price, but bed bugs are not acceptable.

Dirtiest and noisiest place I’ve ever stayed. Fixtures were falling out the ceiling, lamps broken, shower light was hanging by a screw. Grime and dirt built up in every corner. Hadn’t been swept much less mopped There were boogers and who knows what all over the walls. Roaches on the shower curtains and ceilings. Door lock was missing.

Room had no refrigerator or microwave. The noise from the highway was the worst I have ever experienced.

This place was disgusting. The room was filthy, air conditioning wasn’t functional, and reeked so heavily of stale cigarettes. It was clearly very sloppily renovated, and not kept up well. When we went to the front desk to request a new room that was actually clean and had working air conditioning, the room to the front desk was locked and no one was there. We waited for over 45 minutes for someone, and when no one showed up we tried calling. We ended up leaving and staying elsewhere. I know it is cheap, but DO NOT waste your money. Spend a little bit extra to stay at a nicer place with working air conditioning when it’s 90 degrees outside, and that has working front desk staff and someone to answer the phones.

The odor of smoke in the room was overwhelming.

Trash and debris everywhere outside. Trash in pool, very gross. Room was clean but shower was stained brown. Cobwebs. It was supposedly a no-smoking room but it smelled like cigarettes. It felt like the bed was slanted. They sent an email saying coffee would be available but it wasn’t because the manager wasn’t coming back until tomorrow. The second floor exterior cement sidewalk was slanted, feeling like it would collapse any moment.

No refrigerator, no trash can and when i ask a towel at night they said its not available

Very loud creaking from second floor. Terrible beds - old broken down mattresses that make you feel like you might roll off the edge. Filthy bare floor that makes the bottom of your feet black. Dripping shower head. One good thing is that the location is convenient in access to multiple directions. And Piggly Wiggly grocery store is an easy walk across a small not-busy street.

The AC barely worked. When we got in our room it was hot. We turned the AC down to 60 and ran the fan on high but it was still warm in the room. Mentioned it to the front desk staff & she didnt care. Woke up in the middle of the night to pee and saw cockroaches running around. Beds were terrible they were lumpy. The pool wasnt clean so we couldnt swim. The room was dirty. 1 bed had a cigarette burn in the mattress, the sheets were stained. The shower curtain didnt close and the towels were stained.

The room reeked of smoke and then the cockroaches showed up

Booked on expedia with an emailed itinerary number and hotel clerk could not find the reservation and had no rooms available. We took our business down to the Quality Inn and were very glad West Ashley Inn provided such terrible customer service

The front desk was hard to get a hold of via phone or in person and very unfriendly. Seems like she really hated her job. There was roaches, crawling all over the walls, dirty sheets, no towels no wash rags holes in the floor. The AC stopped working. And I had to suffer through all of this in this room until Expedia made it right for me.

The TV won't even power on. And when we called the front desk, they said oh well we can refund it but didn't follow up with us on the issue like they were supposed to. 0 of 5 stars the property is run down and very outdated.

Staff was out of the office a lot and when they were in the office they were in the back room and trying to get them to do anything was a chore! No microwave or even a mini fridge in the rooms. The bed was hard and the sheets old and uncomfortable. The entire place is run down and old.

I didn't get to stay in the room I paid for because they resold it to someone else leaving me and my pregnant wife stranded late at night telling me no refund. All hotels were also full leaving us to sleep in our car. No fault to Expedia, but this hotel along with the guy working was definitely sketchy. He ended up calling the cops on us for asking him his name. The cops seemed to be well known acquaintances with this guy saying this is a common occurrence.

It was difficult to see the sign from the road. I did not feel safe at all. Room smelled like smoke but was supposed to be smoke free.

This appears to be a former Motel 6. It has weekly rates, so I am guessing people are living here, not just staying the night. Floor was sticky and I had a lot of problems with the lock. No one seemed to care about the lock problems Key was difficult to work and the dead bolt kept getting stuck where I couldn't shut the door. At night people were milling around outside with annoying noise through midnight. I can't believe you have this property available for your customers

I have no idea why this motel has so many 5 star ratings. The pictures are deceiving. It is bare bones with barely what you need for your stay. I stayed 2 nights and, both nights, there were people playing music very loudly and yelling until around 2am. The walls are so thin you can hear everything but you're not really sure where it's coming from. People were rolling what sounded like carts down the catwalk at all hours of the night. There are people who undoubtedly live there. There were a few times I didn't feel safe. I was concerned just walking to the Piggly Wiggly across the street. When my Uber driver picked me up to go back to the airport his words were "You know this a very ghetto place, right?" Spend the few extra dollars and do NOT stay here...

Room was ok. Staff friendly. But property poorly maintained - trash and pet droppings all around outside. But good location and reasonably quiet.

No shampoo, broken towel rack, no Kleenex, no fridge, no coffeemaker – but great shower, friendly, helpful staff.

First off, I believe that if you're going to have a hotel, make sure that the bedrooms are at a suitable distinct. My bedroom looked it like roaches. Have been in there. They were killed and the floors have dark spots on it. The shower floor on the inside Of the Booth It looks disgusting it looks like somebody took a pee... My biggest question is, why is the pool out of commissit's summer time and the pool?Looks like there's brain eating bacteria in there why!?... And lastly but not least, why, in the morning, they don't have no breakfast for nobody like a little mini waffle, machine.Little bit of fruits, some coffee.No, there's none of that.It's just coffee and you're asking for $76 for one night for a space like that. If you are willing to charge $76 a night at least make the Furniture is right & the Pool is cleaned even if it is not gonna be open in the Evening's or Night ...make sure those Shower Booth floors are very Very Clean Because the sad part is if thats the case i couldve stood in the toilet & take a Shower because the toilet was more clean than the shower which is Odd ....the only thing that was okay was the bed but even the Sheets had holes in it ...Thats some Crazy work for $76 for one night😭

I cannot explain how disgusting this room was, from piles of dirt on the floors to dirty bedsheets to the sketchy clientele, I would NEVER recommend this place. We walked in, looked around, took pictures and then RAN out of there. It felt like I'd get bedbugs if I even touched the sheets. And there were groups of people just hanging around outside. Oh and the "pool" was disgusting dirty and covered in slime.

The lady at the front desk was awesome! I screwed up the dates on my reservation & she helped me straighten it out. The hotel is old & does need some tlc. It isn’t the roomiest but served its purpose. There are a ton of places to eat nearby. It is by the freeway & you can hear everything. My neighbor’s were very loud. They were yelling at each other with kids screaming & a dog barking throughout the night. I had to turn my tv on & the volume up. There seems to be a lot of that people that may live here & were very nice people. I did see a roach but only 1. Don’t like them but grew up in a downtown neighborhood of a big city in the east so just 1 doesn’t spook me. I loved the parking right outside my door.

WHY HAVE A POOL AND CANT USE IT. HOW CAN YOU ADVERTISE AS PART OF PROPERTY AND IS NOT. lAUNDRY FACILITY DOWN DURING MY WHOLE STAY OF 1 MONTH. SNACK MACHINES TAKE MONEY. OVER CHARGE ON WEEKENDS FOR WHAT, STILL NO EXTRA AMMENITIES. SOME ROOMS AC WORK AND SOME DON\'T. LADIES IN OFFICE ARE LOVELY AND HOUSEKEEPING IS ALSO. MGMT NOT.
