This hotel was far better than we expected. It’s beautiful and has been thoughtfully refurbished. We stayed in the lovers room which was a little dusty but really quirky and we loved it. I think it could be a good family room. The gym isn’t great but I appreciate most people aren’t bothered about training whilst away. Staff were great and so welcoming

Great location, approx 15ns walk to the centre. The room was great, clean and with excellent facilities. We had a double bed and two singles , big bathroom and a small fridge We paid 25E for parking, which was worth it as hassle free and was very secure. Highly recommend for a great value for money stay.

20 minute walk to train station along a lovely pedestrian path. Near to old town, and restaurants and shops. Be advised while there is an elevator, we were unable to get to our room without navigating some stairs. Beautiful old property.

Beautiful boutique hotel. The only thing i'd wish was different was a thinner pillow. The location is great, we can walk everywhere in Bruges. Parking is available onsite for a fee. Breakfast has gluten free bread.

We stayed for three nights at the Golden Tree Hotel in Bruges and truly enjoyed the charm of this historic property. The room had an old-world character that felt cozy and inviting. The bed and carpet were very comfortable, and the lamps added a lovely touch of homeliness. Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay, keeping everything clean and tidy. The only issues we noticed were that the bathtub tended to clog frequently, and it would have been nice to have a hanger near the mirror for towels, as well as a proper spot to place our luggage. Breakfast was excellent — served in a dining room that looks like a small palace, with crystal chandeliers and elegant vintage furniture. The hotel is about a 13-minute walk from the Old Town Square, making it convenient yet peaceful. A special mention to the night staff — she was amazing! Unfortunately, our interaction with another male staff member was disappointing; he was quite rude to my spouse, who had only asked about the location of the steam room. His attitude really contrasted with the otherwise warm hospitality we experienced. Overall, despite a few hiccups, the Golden Tree Hotel offered a charming and memorable stay in beautiful Bruges.

Amazing breakfast and very calm atmosphere. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the car park was full but staff showed us where the public car park was which was very close to the hotel and cheap. Everything was walkable from the hotel.

Found the rooms to be rather drab. Not a picture on the wall! We were only furnished with one big towel in spite of us being 2 people. There was a lot of dust on the side table. Corridors were very dark and dingy and a terrible smell in the lobby area which probably came from the cleaner’s mop The lobby was light and well decorated

They need to do a bit of work in the common areas - once past reception up the stairs I was fearing the worse given grim carpets, stained walls and exposed panels. Not a good first impression But once in the room it was fine. Well equipped, nice bed, extra pillows and the a/c was effective

The hotel was ok, it was in a good location and handy to have car parking. Unfortunately during our stay the hotel stunk! There was constantly a smell of what I think was stagnant water, maybe they had issues with a drain somewhere.

Its a lovely hotel in a good location, our room was a good size and very clean. There is an unpleasant smell in the reception are which assume is caused by drains under the building, this is a shame as everywhere in the hotel is very clean. The reception staff were very pleasant but we were surprised that there were no staff after 9pm in the hotel, fortunately this wasn't a problem for us but thought it was unusual. Overall we had a very good stay and can recommend this hotel.

Fijn hotel met goede ligging. Personeel vriendelijk en flexibel. Minder tevreden over schoonmaak. Er lag een haar in het bad en de prullenbak was niet geleegd. Er lag een vuil wattenstaafje in. Niet een fris idee. De volgende dag hadden we zelfs de hele set van de schoonmaakster in onze badkamer staan met de wc borstel naast onze tandenborstels 😱

Hotel extremely well situated, personnel very kind and helpful, breakfast like a 4* hotel (warm food, different dishes, different breads, top quality), airco in the rooms (but not in the dining room what is a pity), parking at the hotel and at 3 minutes by foot (for eventual charging purpose). The only "negative" comment is that the room we had at the 3rd floor had roofbeams (height: from 1,30 m to 2,00 m) with a real danger of hitting the head, especially during the night. so next time, we will ask to have a room at the 1st or 2nd floor. General opinion: very comfortable and pleasant hotel surely worthwhile going to regularly. Alain

Chambre 28. Bonne literie et bien équipée, mais duplex atypique. Escalier étroit et raide, déplaisant à descendre et risqué pour un lever nocturne mi-endormi (toilettes au rdc et chambre à l’étage). Bruits de circulation en dépit de fenêtre + paroi de double vitrage. Si nous devions y revenir, pas question de retourner dans cette chambre.

very small room, one side of the bed might as well be touching the wall but it was comfortable at least. not a lot of space for 2 people to spread out with suitcases. there was a walk-in shower but it was very tight. the location is good, maybe a few blocks from the edge of town and near a lot of restaurants. this is more of a boutique hotel.

Superb location to explore the city. Staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was ok, standard buffet. Price was about the same as a breakfast you would buy in the city but you have better choices in the city. Car parking, although expensive, was great, secure and within the grounds of the hotel. Rooms were small but perfectly fine for a few nights. No wardrobe space, just some shelves. Beds were comfy. Overall would definitely stay here again.

The staff didn’t really have time so it felt unwelcoming and they weren’t very helpful. The room was too hot and the aircon noisy so I couldn’t sleep. The car park is very small so parking locally is an extra cost and a nuisance.

El hotel es muy bonito, si embargo la atención de las dos personas que nos tocó atención en recepción no fue nada cálida y un tanto hostil, salimos con retraso de 15 min ya que el checkout es a las 11 am y la actitud de la persona era un tanto hostil. De ahí en fuera la ubicación del hotel es buena, habitaciones con buen espacio, diseño atractivo en las áreas del hotel. Es una buena opción aunque en lo personal no regresaría.

Exceeded my expectations. Beautiful building and friendly helpful staff (could communicate in multiple languages). The layout with the courtyard is unique and very pretty. Excellent breakfast. I was a bit sick while I was staying here but felt comfortable and was able to sleep well. Easy waking distance to the centre of Bruges. Felt safe as a solo traveler. 10/10 would stay again!

Rooms lacked ventilation especially it was raining and besides roof windows, there was no other ventilation. Soap and other essentials were not replenished and was empty. Breakfast was OK, not that great either. Reception staff was good, but breakfast host was grumpy at the best! Not worth the value for money.
