Such a stunning property in the centre of Bruges. Room was so quiet, spacious with beautiful bathroom. Bed was huge and very comfy. Bar was great in the evening, with delicious cocktail 'The Duke'.

I really enjoyed the hotel and environment. The food and service were great. However a few points of criticism: * The gym really needs an update. Some machines were barely working or not working at all * I wanted to book a massage but there is very limited space. So I couldnt book one in the time I was there. * There was an option for "only shower" room which is why I booked another room. Regardless my room still had just a shower. Overall my experience was great. The breakfast is just amazing.

My partner and I had a great stay at Dukes palace! Room was clean, staff were helpful and the location is perfect. The ‘Spa Room’ however cost 20€pp, and there was actually no Spa. There also was no water tap or any skin care products like they were advertised. A better explanation around what was included would have been good (:

We received a room upgrade (which was nice) and were placed in the new wing - we had hoped/expected a room in the castle itself. Layout of the hotel is somewhat inconvenient - access to/from the spa/sauna is through main conference area; my wife was interested in the spa but this is open only on limited days. We also had to pay 20 Euros each to use the sauna, which isn't compatible with a 5-star hotel. Everything else was great.

Parking was the only stressful issue, getting to the location. Holiday made it difficult, probably fine any other time. Available underground (below hotel) was very convenient and bell staff took care of luggage perfectly. Highly recommend the stay. Wonderful

Have stayed in many 5 star hotels and wouldn't here again, for a 5 star you expect a certain level and The Duke's Palace didnt live up to those expectionsand was disappointing as we had really been looking forward to our long overdue stay. We got an upgrade BUT we had no tv remote for the duration of our stay, even after asking twice. Cleanliness of the room was not the best, hair in the shower, basin, squashed dead spider on the bathroom wall, hair tumbleweed in the room. Location is good as you are a 5min walk to the main square.

Amazing service, amazing breakfast and nice clean rooms. I could hear everything from outside and outside on the hallway, feels like the walls are very thin. We also had a dirty molton and after housekeeping were in the room they didn’t change it. After asking reception if they could do it, it still wasn’t done unfortunately. Overall perfect stay but some room for perfection

Right in the center of the action. Breakfast buffet was mediocre. Cheese was lying out for hours and dry, orange juice from a box, terrible scrambled eggs probably for a ready-made mix. Fortunately it was included. Rooms were large and modern. Dirt on molding around shower door.

GLORIOUS! Stunning property, very comfortable, great bedding and shower, and delicious breakfast with wonderful sweet fresh orange juice. We were given room 425, with a great view of the rooftops of the old town, with views of two major cathedrals and the Grote Markt Belfry. There was a light show displayed on the Belfry in the evening, which we could watch from our room! Windows open, fresh cool breeze, no mosquitoes - just heavenly! Bruges in fantastic and I hope to return soon.

Make sure to ask for some sort of view. Some rooms look out into a window well and at a brick wall a few feet away. Location and facilities were top notch. Breakfast buffet was great, but there are also many other great breakfast options nearby.

First of all they charged us Twice for our 2 night stay PLUS they wanted to charge us for Parking and we did not have a car. I think the lady who attended to us did not have enough Training or was just very confused Her Supervisor did come knock on our Door to Apologize for charging us Twice He did give us a Free drink voucher. Then at breakfast this morning I just got up to get some OJ and when I returned my plate was gone. It still had half of my food on the plate. I was very MAD. I have travelled the World and this is the first time my plate was taken away before I was finished eating. Not sure Why?? The hotel is beautiful But they need better TRAINING

Wouldn’t say 5* poor service when checking in room not ready. Noisy room and mentioned to reception and they basically shrugged. Room only set up for one, one chocolate left, toiletries for one. Upgraded another couple while we were still waiting for our room.

Beautiful hotel but we had a few isdues. Our bags delivered late to our rooms and we had other people stuff with ours. They came to correct it but it wasn’t quick and bag guys not nice to us about it. Also inquired about taxi to train station day before. Front desk didn’t say we needed a reservation. We came to get taxi and not available so had to walk and almost missed train

Visited a number of hotels on this vacation and Duke's Palace was our favorite. Everything was handled very professionally. The front desk team was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our clerk walked us to our room which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was excellent. A wide range of food items to choose from.

Good: Excellent location, easy to get everywhere in town. Breakfast was very good. Bad: We had issues with our room but staff did little to proactively fix the situation. We had to go to reception many times to get someone to fix the situation. The quality of service was far below what I would expect for a 5 star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here

The hotel is very beautiful, and the location is excellent — everything is nearby. The room was very clean, well-designed, and comfortable. Unfortunately, there were some issues with service: we asked the concierge to charge our phone, but it was not done; we also asked them to deliver sweets to a guest, which did not happen. It's a shame that despite the large staff, the service efficiency could be better. Overall, this is an amazingly beautiful hotel in a wonderful location.

This is a beautiful hotel down a quiet lane right near the centre of Bruges, so the perfect location to explore Bruges. The building and interiors are beautifully maintained and the rooms very large and comfortable. The champagne and chocolate at breakfast was a lovely touch. I highly recommend the Blend winebar not far from here in Bruges, it was delightful.

Very well located in Bruges. Easy walking distance of all the attractions, restaurants, cafes, shops and so on. Beautiful grounds and peaceful sleep at night in a very comfortable bed. Breakfast good, plenty of choice although all self service buffet. No eggs cooked to order. Good access to train station, within walking distance. Very much enjoyed a 3 night stay here.

Well appointed hotel conveniently located in the historic centre. Excellent base for a short stay - ten minutes to the main square.., boat rides and museums. Train between Brussels and Bruge very straighforwardand free shuttle around and Bruge centre ideal for travelling between staition and hotel.

This is a beautiful property. Well situated near the heart of the city yet tucked away and quiet. The building is beautiful and perfectly maintained. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as delicious and the bar was great for a late night drink. Great hotel.

Wunderschönes Gebäude in zentraler Lage. Zimmer hübsch eingerichtet. Personal freundlich und schnelle Beseitigung von Problemen (mit dem Waschbecken). Die Bar im Garten ist eine Ruheoase. Weniger gut hat uns der Gartenblick auf die Dächer des davor liegenden Gebäudes und das begrenzte Angebot des Frühstücksbuffets gefallen. Frisch zubereitet Eierspeisen oder mehr Auswahl an z.B. nicht abgepacktem Joghurt wären schön gewesen.
