Nice ‘no frills’ hotel in Bruges. Bare bones basic, but perfect for me. Easy walk to Grote Markt and grain grinding windmill. Breakfast was also basic but good. Staff is perfect but will charge you to operate the thermostat. :-D

This is a basic, clean hotel within easy walking distance of the centre. There was no reception available but the key code worked well. With the lack of reception we were unable to organise a tea making facility until breakfast time the following day. We bought teabags and milk, which we kept on the windowsill to keep cool. The included continental breakfast was good. The room was small and we failed to access any TV in English except cartoons! Excellent value for money!

The hotel's location was good, a little far from the city center, but walkable. The room was nice, with a great view of the canal. By American standards the room was cool, set at 68, but the duvet was more than enough to keep warm. The breakfast was very good.
