Excellent hotel. Very clean. Slight issue in that one ceiling light did not work and pillow was too big and hard but the bed was otherwise very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel

We loved this gem of a hotel. Stayed Mon-Fri (4 nights) Arrived before our room was ready so they stored our luggage and took it up to our room. Our room was on the top floor. It was a lovely room with a homely feel. Loved the old dark wood furniture- such a lovely change from the plastic looking decor of a lot of hotels. The bathroom was spacious. The bath was slippy so use something in the bath to prevent falls when showering. I always travel with a small towel for this purpose. Our room (No 4) had a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs overlooking the lovely old buildings and rooftops. The breakfast was lovely with eggs of your choice offered every morning cooked fresh. Ther were tables inside and outside. There is no lift/elevator so if mobility is an issue there are rooms on the ground floor. The location is perfect- just a short walk from the main square and about 15-20 mins walk from the train station, however the pavements are cobbled from the moment you step out of the station right up to the hotel so if you have heavy wheeled luggage it will take longer to get their,- as I personally discovered! There is a bus station at the railway station where you can get buses to near the square area. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
