Overall the place was excellent. Offers options of food and three pools areas. View on the beach.

Desde qué nos recibieron fue muy buena la atención, viajé con mi esposa y tuvimos qué llegar antes al hotel Nuestro check in era hasta las 4pm pero llegamos antes y nos facilitaron la habitación sin problema Todo el staff del muy amable El Spa es de los mejores en los qué he estado Tienen qué probarlo, es excelente Las instalaciones y el hotel en general es bonito más no es tan nuevo Pero lo compensan con la atención qué te brindan.

The view was amazing! The pools were awesome especially just hot tub.

The staff were friendly, our room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The amenities were great with a decent gym, several pools, a hot tub and right on the beach. It was easy to figure out the local busses to take us downtown or to the club zone. The food was great, if pricy. Drinks were very expensive, but there was an Oxo nearby where we could get cheap cervesa.

Room was clean and nice, service is great. The restaurant offers good food but not superior. The main square swimming pool facing the ocean is not big and the other triangle pools are even smaller. This location has strong wind and big waves. The beach is short and deep, and there are better beaches in the north part of the hotel zone. The experience was OK but not luxirious.

Flow Rider

The gym really was not to my liking

A praia não é muito boa, mas as piscinas e a vista do mar compensam.

The young man in charge of the flow rider water machine (oscar)was very patient with me and my daughter while giving us instructions. He was playing with her, making it fun all the time.

Location great but outdoor pool isn’t heated

There were cockroaches in my room

Everyone at the Westin was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The entire place was spotless, and the pools were clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding. A truly pleasant stay!

They have BED BUGS like really bad I would give zero stars if I could …. Just not clean at all would not recommend.

La limpieza impecable, todo el personal muy amables y atentos

De passage à Cancun 12h car mon vol atterrissait tard. J’ai réservé au Westin car il était près de l’aéroport. La chambre était propre correcte mais vieille défraîchie et très / trop humide. Je peux affirmer sans aucun doute qu’il y avait des punaises dans le lit. Jai été couché à peine 5h avant de repartir. Bref il n’y a aucune ambiguïté sur la provenance. À moins d’être mal pris, demandez une chambre rénovée et inspectez les matelas avant de vous coucher. Sinon la piscine et la plage sont ok mais pas assez pour ramener des punaises de lit au Canada.

La propiedad está en mal estado, se notan los años y la humedad en los edificios. Las sábanas estaban sucias. En general no regresaría a este hotel y tampoco lo recomendaría.

We arrived earlier than expected. We had 2 rooms and they allowed us in earlier so we could enoy the resort. Room was spotless Nd clean

Staff were amazing and lovely. We booked an ocean view room and the ocean was fantastic. Unfortunately, they put us in a room that was doing construction directly above our heads - starting early morning (hammering, drilling, etc) and lasting throughout the day. We were hoping for a relaxing stay so this was not ideal.

The room was very nice and spacious. Very clean with a nice view of the lagoon..the only downside to the room was that there was no fridge in the room or kettle to make tea. There were only coffee making facilities. Me being a tea drinker i totally missed the fact that we had no kettle. When we aksed for a kettle this was not brought up. There are no tourist sjops or a supermarket around the hotel. Actually there are no shops outside of the hotel. That was quite dissappiting. Howecer there was a little supermarket on the hotel site which was very expensive and not ideal.

I booked the westin because of the pics on the website it is priced the same as all inclusive hotels with entertainment and several restaurants but westin does not have those options the hotel is very average it doesnt look like a westin ive been in other westins like the one in maui and this westin look like a holiday inn express at the most food is terrible we got sick 2 days straight and is the same food and menu in the 3 restaurant options open one at at time basically you eat the same menu over and over in the pics show a beautiful beach but dont show you the concrete barrier in front of the whole hotel because they do not have a complete beach only a little piece all the surrounding of the premises has this barrier where the waves crash because there is almost no beach but if you walk down the stairs and walk a litte you can find a beach on the side of the hotel the rooms are clean but bathrooms look old and musty and the room i was in the drawers didnt close like how they can rent rooms in that condition? The hotel has a lot of glass doors and i saw the same smudges for a period of 4 days so they dont clean a lot it was a bad experience that only got better because of the personal in this hotel every single employee in this premises is super nice helpful considerate and always have a smile is the best costumer service experience that i had is only the condition of the hotel doesnt help but employees are the best i ve ever seen in a resort

Room was old with shower needing a good cleaning. Pillows uncomfortable

Chambre avec vue imprenable sur l'océan. Spacieuse et bien équipée. Les plats proposés en restauration sont inegaux et surtout chers comparativement aux etablissements qui ne sont pas en bord de mer

Everything was all right other than the room they offered was not lagoon view room. I booked lagoon view room but the one I got was parking view one

The rooms were outdated. Air conditioners ran so loud I couldn’t sleep. Bathroom tub had plaster stains. Furniture was peeling.

The room was spotless. I just didn’t like the lighting situation in the room.

The rooms are very old smell like mold or mildew. Need remodeling work bad. Only had 1 washcloth made Reservation for 2 guest. Called front desk for more when I got the washcloth they were dirty not the cleanness at all. What ever happened to white washcloths. I will never stay at this Westin location again

We stayed at the hotel side (they have 2 sections: the hotel part, and the time share rooms). We arrived at 2 am, and our check in was fast. The staff was very polite and courteous. Lobby is nice and beautiful. Our room was big. We paid for a room with ocean view. Our view was a big window, but no balcony. The bathroom needs to be updated (looks very old). The bathtub had a yellowish color. The shower was very small, and we found hair in the shower and a razor cover. The towels had a grayish white color and stains. We contacted front desk, and immediately we were assigned to a different room. They sent somebody to take us to our new room. The new room bathroom still needs to be remodeled, but this one was clean. The new room was the same size of the first one, but this one had a balcony. The view was amazing (the room was right in front of the ocean). We were able to hear the soothing ocean/waves sounds. Property in general is awesome, but the rooms need some work.

The place itself was fine, but I want to warn other guests: once you get your key, it’s best not to talk to anyone, not the concierges or anyone else, and just head straight to your room. As soon as they hand you the key, they try to give you a pitch for a timeshare “upgrade,” which is basically a scam. It’s a really shady practice they have there. Also, the food isn’t very good, and it feels like the staff acts as if you’re asking them for favors anytime you need something. The service is just bad overall.

Outside of the group of salespeople trying to push you into a time share presentation, the front of house staff was dismally apathetic. Restaurant staff was excellent.

Staff was great but the concierge is just a guy selling timeshares. They won’t take no for an answer so you have to be rude. Then they called my hotel room to try again and I just hung up. Other than that, great beach access and pool area. Sports bar does not have a vpn to get American channels for college football so plan accordingly l

The staff wasn't particularly helpful and the property looks run down in some areas. The food was average and the area around the property isn't really accessible unless you're driving.

Lovely property with amazing views of the ocean. We had an issue with the AC and in our hotel room. They tried to fix it but it still was not working well so we asked Concierge for another room. They immediately showed us different room with a great views and we moved to it right away. The hotel staff and wait staff at the sports bar and breakfast buffet are so attentive, kind and helpful. We had a wonderful visit and good time. Everyone at the hotel provided excellent service.

This resort was absolutely wonderful. The staff is amazing. I will not stay anywhere else while visiting Cancún.

The property is great for the traveler on budget. You dont need a fancy room when youre supposed to be outside enjoying cancun. Room was very nice. Pools were awesome! Wait staff fantastic. Carolina my assigned cong person took amazing care of me. In communication close to my arrival and took care of my requests!

Fantastic stay! I definitely would recommend the Western 100%! Service was impeccable! Manuel was my favorite my bartender by the pool! Extremely friendly, helpful and attentive.

Excelente servicio

A very good property, but far from the center of the Hotel Zone. There are good restaurants on property and within walking distince, but if you are looking for the clubs and bars you'll want to look further North. The staff were incredibly helpful, and most of them spoke excellent English. Many lovely pools to choose from. The property is quite large, so prepared to have to walk a bit depending on what building your room is in. The beach isn't the best due to steep sea walls, though there is fine beachfront very close by.

The location is exactly what we wanted. Quiet and away from the busy area of the hotel zone. It was nice that the pool area and lounge chairs are close to the beach. Bus stop outside the hotel was convenient. The only downside is no food options outside the hotel. The food at the restaurant bar was okay. Grilled chicken and salad and pizza was yum. I wish they offered more mexican food but the breakfast buffet makes up for it. Majority of the employees were friendly and accomodating. The little convenience store was great for late night coffee, snacks, etc. We like that staying at this property did not feel like a mega resort fortress. Expect to be asked frequently to go to the "concierge" desk that's connected to their sales department.

A little far away from town, but beautiful to be on the beach

My family and I spent five nights at this hotel and overall had a great time. The location is perfect if you're looking to unwind it's right on the beach, and the sunset views from the room are stunning. We rented a car, which I highly recommend, since restaurants and entertainment options are a bit far. While public transportation is available, having a car made it much easier to explore Cancun and surrounding areas. The hotel itself has restaurants and a bar on-site, which was convenient. Our room was clean and felt safe, and we were mostly just there to sleep after our outings. The only real downside was the towel situation. There weren't enough pool towels, and we had to walk across the building to get them. Housekeeping also didn't leave enough towels in our room, so I had to call every day for more. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back!

Hotel facile d’accès depuis l’aéroport, jolie vue et bon service. La mer pour le lever de soleil, et une piscine côté lagune pour le coucher de soleil :)

El hotel se encuentra lejos de tiendas y centros comerciales, pero esa es una de las ventajas en cuanto a que no esta saturado todo el tiempo, pero si no tuviste oportunidad de rentar auto, es un poco dificil moverte, aun que a unos metros pasan los autobuses que te pueden llevar al centro en un tiempo aprox de 50 minutos. Las instalaciones estan excelentes y el personal siempre atento. Mención especial, al guardavidas Vidal, siempre amable y pendiente de las personas en playa y piscina. Desafortunadamente me toco epoca de mucho sargazo y no tuve mucha oportunidad de entrar al mar, pero por otro lado, por la noche llegan muchas tortugas a desovar y es un espectaculo impresionante. Totalmente recomendado.

Stayed 1 night because it was close to airport and had an early 8am flight. It was good, clean, great shower pressure but if your looking for a nice beach this is not the place especially during the seaweed season.

after the first night I met the cleaning lady she gave me extra water,a robe and extra towels and I thought that the sauna and Steven was included because it was listed on Expedia but it wasn't. it was an extra charge. the restaurants were really expensive. I had chicken alfredo and guacamole and a mojito and it was almost $50 The last thing I had some breakfast and I ordered some chilaquiles some of the worst I've ever had . it was with chicken and the chicken was really dry . for what I paid for the hotel I would have expected at least breakfast be included and it wasn't.silverware.

Rent och städat. Hjälpsam personal och bra service. Frukostbuffén var dyr men helt ok. Utbudet på de andra 2 restaurangerna var dåligt. Maten var bra men variationen dålig. Buffé erbjöds på fredagen men var helt utplockad. Hotellet är väldigt isolerat från affärer och borde därmed ha bättre utbud. En stor flaska vatten kostade i deras affär 180 pesos. Poolerna var fräscha och läget till stranden var toppen.

The hotel is very clean and beautiful, the food is very good. The only problem we had was that the card didn't work in the elevator and they deactivated it a few hours before departure and we had to go and complain to have it activated twice. That's the only thing, but I would come back here 🤗

Food is very expensive and no much options

Room was very clean, staff was excellent, pools were beautiful, beach clean, white sand and ocean crystal clear. 7/11 convient store is a good 10 minute walk and there is no other restaurants outside of the resort close by. We looked at the menus of the restaurants in the resort and they were extremely expensive. Starbucks coffee for example was $12 CAD for medium. If you have a young family, I would suggest an all inclusive or somewhere closer to walk walk to get groceries/ family restaurant!

Los que atienden el bar tienen una actitud pésima. Todavía no era la hora de cierre y dijeron que ya no nos daban servicio, que habían hecho corte. El mesero del restaurante lujoso tampoco tuvo muy buena actitud. Pongo 8 porque los meseros de la mañana fueron muy amables y el personal de recepción también. No aceptan pagos en efectivo en restaurantes porque no confían en su personal :(
