Riu Caribe - All Inclusive

Food was average. Pools were nice. Reserved a Junior Suite with an ocean view. Got a regular room with a street view. Probably wouldn't recommend. The Hilton was better.

Property was well taken care of ! Staff super friendly. Only down side is that the pools close at 7 pm.

Great stay! Very nice resort, recently updated, great beach area, went swimming everyday. Lots of food options at the buffet. Asian restaurant was OK. The other 2 restaurants were great. Staff is very helpful and do an excellent job. Riu parties were entertaining. The entertainment was excellent just the volume in the theater was extreme! Ears were ringing after 1 hour.

Riu Caribe is a fantastic resort. Best beach, calm waters and no rocks. Sugary sand. Staff make time fun and become family. Smaller resort with great vibe. Got RIU party.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location and clean facilities, kind and hardworking staff stood out to us the most. We were slightly disappointed that there wasn’t a jacuzzi at this location. Also, we were a bit disappointed about the food being served especially during breakfast and lunch. There was lots of choices that lacked flavor. Desserts were pretty but did not taste good. The restaurants open during dinner time were much better. Our favorite restaurants were the Steakhouse and Kulinarium. The Asian inspired restaurant was a bit of a letdown and needs to have better sushi or Asian dishes available. It would be better if there were more restaurant choices for lunch.

The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The buffets had plenty to choose from and were delicious. The Asian and Kularium restaurants were our favorites. Plenty of lounge chairs around the pools and on the beach so we were always able to find a place to lounge for the day. Drinks were good but light on actual alcohol. Only complaint is the lack of air conditioning in the lobby area and hallways as both are open to the outside with no windows. But we enjoyed our stay and plan on going back next year.

The resort is very beautiful with multiple restaurants to choose from. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The Spa was a little pricey for a massage. The towels inside the room had a bit of a smell and they weren’t the standard white towels. The resort doesn’t have straws and uses reusable plastic cup. Brings your own straws and towels.

Great, but territory is small

We had a great time, everyone there was very nice, the only thing is the pools, closes at 7pm, I believe they should leave it open till late.

The pools are big and there are three options available, the sea was clean and so calm. Is a good option for families and party players. The room was comfortable and spacious. The sunsets and sunrise are beautiful. Is a 24/7 hotel so the drinking options are wide and nice.

Everything was very clean and the staff were very helpful.

There was roaches in my room.

Staff at the front desk were extremely rude, unhelpful, and laughed in our faces. Rolled their eyes and shook their heads at us because we asked for a bag of rice to put our phone in. They even did this in the presence of their manager. Our air conditioning broke twice in 3 days. Not many GF options, limited dining hours, and no blankets in the hotel rooms. Someone also went p**p in the hallway on our floor.

Room was very clean and updated. Bathroom was very spacious. Easy access to pools, beach, and restaurants.

Beautiful View the beach was beautiful no seaweed! My family loves this Resort we always come back to this one . The staff goes above and beyond to serve you . Love it and will not stay nowhere else! The Hotel is Exceptional in cleanliness everywhere is super Clean!

I was offered an upgrade to an oceanfront room. The view was amazing but the only downside was the noise at night from the lobby. There is no ceiling up to the 4th floor. Other than that we had an amazing stay. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The beach was beautiful and the facilities were very clean.

I like my room, the view is beautiful except it’s flooded twice while I was there and I lost my shoes in the process. The lobby and the corridors , lots of mosquitoes and not enough entertainment. Otherwise it’s okay. And I still recommend it to friends and family and I’ll go back there for more fun. Each taxi driver has a different price 🤔

the parties like the pink and neon party’s where fun. my room had a horrible smell to it and nobody wanted to rectify it in a way that was satisfactory. i checked in on a thursday and immediately contacted the front desk about the horrible smell. like rotten eggs. they said they would send someone and never did. friday i called down again and they sent a cleaning lady to “refresh the room” she immediately turned her nose up when i let her in and proceeded just to spray liquid freshener of some sort in all the corners of the room. she said maybe it’s the air conditioner. something there made me smell rotting boiled eggs for four nights and 3 1/2 days . all they wanted to do was refresh it with spray. now it smells like sweet rotten boiled eggs! very annoying. room 426 should be checked for a dead rodent in the vents. the restaurant food was not good and the breakfast lunch and dinner buffets where plentiful with options but a lot of the same things every time. taco stuff and food you wouldn’t normally eat for breakfast like pork tenderloin, refried beans and shredded pork. the gym is tiny but has what you’d need. they do have a shop inside for drinks and things you may have forgotten for astronomical prices of course. staff is very friendly and helpful and drinks do what they should do but not top shelf of course. you do have to pay to play pool in the sports bar.. in an all inclusive resort.. but not the pool table... the pool table is not inclusive.

Everything was great except the front desk staff. They were so slow, we arrived at8 am and our check in was at 3, they didn’t tell us that they are firm with check in time. They told us we will send you an email when your room is ready and we came back to check at 1 and they said will be ready in 40 minutes when we came back it wasn’t the same person and the other person said check in is at 3, we got back at 3 and our room still wasn’t ready until 3:30. It was pretty bad experience and frustrating after flying at night. I don’t recommend this hotel if you are arriving early since the front desk staff are not friendly.

Staff in the front to check in was very rude, we got a different treatment arriving to the resort than other people I was waiting for my check in room to be ready and noticed as I was sitting down they where giving drinks and food welcoming to other individuals and not me worse resort I’ve stayed at ever

Amazing staff and services

Hotel Riu Caribe very good location and easy access to all. All staff are very welcoming. Rooms are refreshed everyday and mini bar replenish every other day.

It was very convenient to attractions

Clean ocean and beach from seaweed, its cleaned daily if any seaweed get on the sand. Friendly staff, beautiful view and beach and great food.

Great value! The resort looks brand new and it is extremely clean. Food and drinks were great, so was the service. Location is good, less than 10 minutes away from the clubs.

The food was terrible at the resort and was restricted to certain hours of the day. No 24 hour room service available.

The food was not good , always same option variety.And also not fresh ,sometimes not cooked well.

The Food wasn’t the greatest but okay I didn’t like that the buffet was over for breakfast at 11 nothing else available only at the pool limited options everything closed early It’s quite a bit away from the strip so you need to take a taxi or Uber to the strip a bit pricey Over all it’s clean and beautiful access to the beach Limited choice of beer only served Dos XX Tecate beer no Corona or Modelo low end tequila

Great stay! We have stayed at multiple RIU resorts and this one was great. The food was awesome. The restaurants and variety for dinner was delicious. They decorated the room for my boyfriend’s Birthday without even asking. It was a great surprise. The pools were a fun atmosphere and relaxing at the same time.

Buffet food was okay but all of specialty restaurant wasnt great. All the liquor wasn't really liquor i can tell

The rooms were beautifully updated and very comfortable. I enjoyed having coffee with a view of the ocean from the balcony. The breakfast and dinner buffet was awesome. The lunch options were mystery meat for sure but there are options to avoid that. The themed parties were a lot of fun, just wish there were more food options for later in the night. Also, don’t lose your room keys cause they charge for that. Overall it was a lovely stay and I would go back.
