From start to finish, Cotswold Grange was a gem of a place! The rooms are gorgeous and the bathroom one of the best! Only thing we learned was dont take a heavy suitcase if you're on the top floor. The breakfast and the service was second to none. Ive forgotten the names now, but the young ladies who served us were very welcoming and helpful - we will be back!

We booked because we were going to the races. So first of all This hotel is really convenient for the race course and walkable in 15 minutes. We were allowed to use the on-site parking before checking in therefore allowing us to walk to the course and enjoy our day with a few drinks. We booked a small double and that is exactly what we got but was everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable I slept really well. We were room 25. It truly is a beautiful hotel and we will be back.

This is a very pleasant place. It is tastefully decorated and the bar offers a lovely space to grab a drink or a coffee at the end of the day. The breakfast area is elegant and overlooks the green back garden. My room was underground. It wasn’t dark but I could hear the cars that parked nearby and people walking on the road. However since this is a generally quiet area, this was not a major problem. The shower cubicle in my room needed maintenance because the water did not drain well. Otherwise the room was beautiful, comfortable, Warm and clean.

Stayed for weekend. A great location to explore Cheltenham town and Racecourse. A lovely breakfast with great friendly service. It has free car parking. Rooms great with a superb shower. Will definitely recommend for a weekend break.

This property is located outside of Cheltenham city center and most rooms (all standard/smaller rooms) are in the basement. Basement has been remodeled and rooms are decent but you’re still in a basement with very little access to natural light or windows. Cleaning personnel were very loud in the morning as well talking to one another.

Upon arrival the hotel was exactly how it looked, quite a charming building with some character, however it was the little things that I noticed such as considering we were in the hotel all evening/night and had done so much exploring during the day we just wanted some decent tv to fall asleep to but the tvs were very dated, no smart tv, channel guide was non existent also and other gripe was there wasn’t enough coffee or milk sachets in the room either so I was asking for more so we had some on wake up the next morning, overall the hotel was clean and tidy and staff helpful and friendly. Just could do with some small upgrades USB sockets and smart TVs

Fantastic staff nothing too much trouble. Fantastic room a surprise upgrade on the room I had originally booked. The room was lovely and WOW the bathroom was out of this world. I would stay again such a beautiful building. Only one negative was the pigeon that sat on the vent to the bathroom singing to us but sooner that than noisy people.

Our visit to Cotswold Grange was first time and we were very impressed that we would consider staying again. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and the chef catered for my dietary needs. The hotel is not far from the town centre so it was an easy walk there and back eliminating the need to look for parking. Our visit was a one night stay for a theatre trip but we feel we would like to explore the surrounding area in the future.

I was attracted to this hotel with its 5 star rating and great location. It felt like a B&B really and felt quite strange to have a key to the front door because the desk isn't 24hours. This was quite frustrating as our radiator was stuck on maximum and I couldn't tell anyone until the morning. The room was very small so it was very hot and only receiving a "sorry" unfortunately means I won't be staying again. I'm quite puzzled as to what was 5 star. The wardrobe door creaked so loud it woke me up and the Nescafé coffee didn't really appeal to us either. The price was quite good, but there was a chain hotel offering a modern room nearly 3 times the size for around £70 less per night.

Hotel has no vibe. Not near anything. Staff said "since you booked with Hotel.com breakfast is not included" which I thought was a rude waying of saying that. Could have said, let us know if you would like to add breakfast. Anyways, I would not stay here again. Bed was too hard. Just didn't connect with the hotel at all.

I think this property was ok but definitely not the 5 stars it claims. Breakfast was on offer but no dinner unless you were booking it for an event. Property was in need of care & the photos I looked at in choosing it unfortunately don't match up when you see it in person.

A lovely period building with high ceilings and ornate features. Staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast was excellent with good choices. Best of all was it’s location. Right in the heart of Cheltenham and all amenities within walking distance. Would stay again.
